Let’s just say this was the baby making album and you’ll see later😂🤭🤗. Just be sure to watch the live awards show performance 🥰

Kyrie. R

Andre 3000 verse sits better on Party.

Ni Ni

The la di da di line is from a song (Snoop Dogg maybe) and it goes “la di da di we like to party”

Sydney Barrett

No its earlier 1985 by slick Rick and Doug e fresh its actually the most sampled song

Brian Le

That's why I was like wait a damn minute, I'm pretty sure 1+1 was the first track 🤣🤣 didn't know there was a change

Jordyne Gipson

Agreed! That “Set the scene, 3000 degrees” will always hit

Brian Le

You need to listen to Party with Andre 3000, MUCH MUCH better

Jordyne Gipson

Now I would listen to the songs that were changed or even just the album first before the videos as she cuts verses out for her music videos

Helena

Awww you didn’t get the full album it missed out a lot of songs. Great reaction though! I hope we get the rest of the album too!

Asia Ford

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE React to her ‘Love on Top’ performance at the VMA awards

Courtland Alexander

THIS IS NOT A DRILLL!!!!! Omgggg let me get myself ready to watch 😭😭😭

Brian Le

Please add Dreaming and Lay Up Under Me in your track list. It's only 2 bonus songs this album. They are really good as well.

fry

next part has one of my absolute favorite beyoncé songs i’m so excited for you to hear i care

Ramiro IV

I second this 😭 Andre 3000's verse hits way better, and this is a unanimous thought within the beyhive 💀

Ramiro IV

16:51 really appreciate this message, I feel the same when people tell me to dive into his discography. I know there's this whole thing of separating the art from the artist, but honestly knowing what he supports and stands for I just can't get into it, not even for the nostalgia part 😭 But I also appreciate it for another reason, because Beyoncé's later projects REALLY dives into proud blackness, authenticity, feminism, sexuality, being unapologetically queer or trans, black spirituality, etc. You really can't be a Beyoncé fan without acknowledging she herself is a black southern woman and the challenges that come with that. (even at her status!)

Curwin Sphere

I'm soooo happy you connected like that with Schoolin' Life. It's literally my personal favourite from the album. Have it on repeat to this day but it's one of her most underrated songs EVER! Glad you love it just as much.

Chitchai Thepnathee

I love following your Beyonce journey. I think you should also give Lana del rey a chance with her firt album "Born to die"

HELENIA DUKES

Now, I'm not new to Beyonce. My brother has been telling me for YEARS she was that one. I just didn't listen. Her last 2 albums reeled me in and then I FINALLY listened to Lemonade and now I get it. So, with my limited experience, I wonder if any of the Bey Hive can confirm that I Miss You was in reference to her dad. I've heard the song before, but listening with new ears and an understanding of her journey to make 4 - I just assume. Also, the La Di Da Di reference by J. Cole is a sample from an old song, it wasn't just random!

JuanDad Quintero Tello

Yes, He is playing the second versión oficial the álbum and the experiencia is diferent.

Cynthia Fenderson

There’s another version of party with Andre 3000 from OutKast

Kisha Herring

I was waiting for ‘boy, you’ll be the death of me’ and got so confused. Also, I really prefer 3 Stacks’ feature on Party.

Ari Ril

He usually breaks them up in parts! So we will definitely be getting the full album 😊

Kisha Herring

I just thought about you getting to see Bey singing 1+1 acapella in the green room with Jay filming and I’m excited in advance.

Detra Jones

Boob tape 🤷🏽‍♀️🤣🤣

Orlando

Oh you chose the Spotify version is this album. 1+1 is the original first track from this album, it’s ok tho. Also, I know you like doing the visuals while listening to album but Love on Top omits the second verse of the song so you may want to revisit the audio version to get the full song. Fun fact Bey’s studio engineer(DJ Swivel) for this album has done a lot of videos on this era, giving a lot of behind the scenes intel and sharing how talented this women is and in one of the vids he said that Bey wanted to add additional key changes to the end of Love on top going into her head voice but he persuaded her not to, lol. I don’t know how I feel about that cause I want to hear her keep going. Lol

Orlando

Also, she isn’t screaming, lol she’s belting…. Screaming would be incorrect way of singing and would ruin her voice…Bey takes her voice seriously and has maintained healthy vocal techniques that has sustained her instrument.

m

she’s modulating!

Orlando

Ok, you’re picking up on the vibes Bey was going for for this album. It was her pulling from the past and using elements of soul/r&b, 80’s synths, live horns and percussion because at the time a lot of pop stars were doing EDM/ dubstep and she wanted to be different and do what felt good to her ear.

Orlando

If there’s one thing you can never forget about Bey she’s intentional and nothing she did is just random.

JRogue

Yes!!! And you will start seeing her surprise prego belly in the videos

Amanda

Yes, Schoolin' Life hive rise up! Also, the Andre 3000 remix of Party is SO much better and he absolutely found a way to slide on the beat.

Brenda T.

Please eventually watch the video for " If It Isn't Love" by New Edition. She paid homage to them through the choreography in the "Love On Top" video.

frances 🌼

I don’t know if anyone’s mentioned it, but i feel like her 2011 Glastonbury headline set is a MUST watch after listening to this album. She got a lot of criticism from rock fans because she was considered too “pop” AND, it was the first time a woman headlined in 20 years. So excited for you to see this era of Bey 🥰🤭

Saphire

Hey! I'm OG Bey Hive and I've always thought I Miss You was in reference to her father. If you know their history, it totally makes sense although it's never been confirmed by her. Also, you are right about the La Di Da Di lyrics being a reference to an old school song. It was a hit back in 86' by Doug E. Fresh & The Get Fresh Crew feat Slick Rick.

Nicole N

Agree with this completely. Party with Andre is better

Aaron Adams

SCHOOLIN LIFE IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE BEYONCÉ SONG!!!!

David Durley

52:19 it's the beyonce effect lol her music you get lost in it and forget about time

Stacey A.

35:05- dude stay out my head. I am dealing with this right now. Because sometimes parents are so used to having some type of control over us. That when we are married or in a relationship and we have our own family. They can't take it. It's like they say, I dare, you not run and jump. When I say jump. I'm at the point where if I have to love you from a distance, then that's what I'll do. I will protect my peace at all costs. I will never stopped loving you. But the love that I have for my family unit that I built. Surpasses all of that.

Stacey A.

Until watching this reaction. I didn't realize that. The album 4 is 80's, inspired. Now, that I think of it Beyoncé was born in 1981. Also, her birthday is on September the 4th. I think you're on to something about the era of music. I love your videos so much. I pray that you and your beautiful family. Had a great holiday season. 🙏🏾🎄🎁💛🖤💛🖤🐝🐝🐝🐝

Stacey A.

And that's what I was thinking I was like, where did J Cole come from? The only one I remember doing the rap in that song was Big Boy from Outcast. Big boys, verse was way better than J. Cole's.

marythiccmas

As a lover of the original tracklisting for this album (1+1 is a DAMN good album opener, sorry Love On Top!), the one positive about you reacting to the Expanded Edition tracklisting is that you got to hear some of my absolute favorite songs from this album (Countdown and Schoolin' Life) right off the bat! I loved how you noticed her taking Love On Top higher and higher! It's arguably one of the hardest songs to sing period let alone in her discography because of the sheer stamina needed to get through it, especially with those four key changes at the END going higher and higher and higher and HIGHER. I don't think I've ever heard anyone BUT Bey manage to do it justice. (And to answer your "slightly inappropriate" question: Bey has REALLY good fuckin' shapewear that keeps the girls locked in place.) Also, I think Andre 3000 does a MUCH better job w/ his verse on Party. He's the album version feature for the song, and if nothing else it's MILES better than the J. Cole verse. As always, you are such a joy to watch, and I'm glad you're loving the 4 era so far! ♫ Hell you're halfway there baby take it to the head ♫

HELENIA DUKES

It makes sense to me that it's about her dad...I guess I'll choose to believe that until proven otherwise lol. This journey has been great though! I love Luke's reactions and I'm learning things about Beyonce that I just didn't know previously.

Kells881

I am patiently anticipating hearing you say “ this is your favorite album” something you have said about each one.😂😂😂 Beyoncé is just such a unique artist. She’s not afraid to experiment with different sounds( something you will see further in your journey). Once the album reaction is over, you definitely have to check out live performances. Love On Top which she still does in concert will blow you away. Great recap! One more thing, the next reaction, have some water near & maybe a fan. Dance For You the video…..well you will see. 😜

Charles Brown

Awesome reaction! When you get to the final track (I Was Here), please watch her visual performance of it for World Humanitarian Day! 🙌🏾

Karry forde

I enjoy your reaction as usual immensely. I don't know when you're going to give up on what is your favorite. Lol. It gets better, TRUST ME. ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Orlando

Yes, obviously…I’m pointing out to him that she isn’t screaming at the parts of the modulation where she’s belting.

Kiyah

I love this reaction, after this you definitely have to watch her live at roseland❤️

JaNai

I would love for him to see the love on top live performance with her special announcement 😊😊

Amor

i think he has already lol

Noa Kalei

The album version of Party is better with Andre 3000

Saint

I always love your reactions. I can’t believe we are in 4 already! I miss you is such a great song and it makes me cry every time. 4 is one of her most phenomenal works for me :)

Saint

Also pls listen to party ft Andre 3000 it is the better version and it’s the only version in my books lmao

React to The Super Carlin Brothers video. Find their most recent Pixar Theory. They released a new one in December 2025. Maybe stream it since the video is over an hour long... Day one of demanding the Pixar theory be reacted to.

As someone who does a lot of sewing and tailoring, I think I figured out the answer to "how do they not pop out with all the jumping" in Love On Top and it's super clever. (Sidenote, if you or anyone else like I'd LOVE to explain the genius of engineering and illusion that helps her fit into a very narrow beauty standard so fantastically well in her second outfit at cochella despite being less than a year postpartum with twins - imo she'd be beautiful without it at any size, but holy heck that's a master work of costume design) So with the leotard thing in the first section, that one's fairly simple, the function of a bra is built into the garment instead of being worn separately underneath. The real genius is when we get to the jackets, because the jacket isn't quite snug enough to serve that function and she has so much cleavage showing she can't wear a regular bra. The lighting and blurriness of the video is (likely deliberately) making it really hard to see, but if you pause at 1:48 and clearer at 1:54, she does actually have some sort of support undergarment. It's obviously custom made to a really convincing nude-illusion color. From the little I can see of it, it might be a tank style bra or leotard that's so low cut the V might end around her waist or maybe hips. I think that could work in theory to secure her as long as it had enough negative ease (stretchy clothing being a smaller measurement than the body measurement so it hugs the body) and strength in the material along the neckline. It probably would also have a good cup support in the side area of the chest we can't see so the boob has somewhere it "wants" to go and stay in place while still being able to move and bounce but not flop.

K

Can you check out the party version with andre 3000. I personally prefer that version the rap doesn’t seem out of place.

K

The Glastonbury concert is a MUST for this era. The first black woman to headline Glastonbury. And she was PREGNANT it is an iconic show.

F T

She had to do a version with J Cole to make the music video because Andre 3k didn’t want to do videos anymore! I hate that he did that to this day because he was too slick on that verse and everyone should’ve got that first!

Amanda

She coulda just thrown a bridge or an extra chorus in there and left him off lolllll. i do not fw that verse lol.

StickyKeys

Came solely for Schoolin' Life and was NOT disappointed! :D

Monica Williams-Samuels

Ok so I'm late to this reaction, but I just want to step in on your reaction to J Cole on Party. I get that you would know the La Di Da Di reference, but trust he didn't just blindly/meaninglessly throw that in just to rhyme random sounds with the word Friday. La Di Da Di is the name of a VERY famous rap song by 2 of the pioneers of rap that came out in like 1986/87 (I was 11 or 12}... It's made by Doug E Fresh & Slick Rick. That rap song is along the same vibe as Party so that whole line was very significant.
