Her performance of it from the show Xfactor in France from 2011 and her Oprah Winfrey show finale performance. Also check out her AOL Sessions performance from 2008. I honestly thank my first real boyfriend. Who's also my first son's father. For showing me who he was before I said I do. I mean, we were only eighteen or nineteen years old. But, because I had my son at nineteen years old. I decided to go to college. And when I got to college, I met my best friend. Nine years later we got married. We just celebrated sixteen years of marriage with two more beautiful boys. Many times when you have to lose something. It's allowing you to free up the space for something, or someone that you should have been with all along. That line, "thank God, I dodged a bullet. It hit home."
