Cookoutboi

Roll over and die was one of my favorite ones this year

Jason

😔🙏 F for FSF, chat

Jason

Nvm we up, he'll watch it lmao

DRACO

It's okay Luke for not reacting to Fate/strange Fake for now and getting the hype altogether weekly. But we will be waiting for you to watch it later! Take your time, having so many reactions and streams weekly and being a father is an exhausting thing to do. Quite literally working 7 days straight, and Love ya Luke!❤️

DRACO

I'm currently watching a total of 17 shows of this season alone not adding with other shows outside this Winter 2026 season. If I total it with other shows that I'm catching up/currently watching it might be around 40 animes total.

iDiarkis

not really good at making top X lists but I can say I wish "liberator" from "roll over and die" was somewhere on this list as it is one of my favs this season

mjaomjao2

Not having the Roll Over and Die opening in this video is criminal. That one along with Oshi no Ko and Strange Fake are my top 3 ops of the season. Shiboyugi is the best new anime of the season though imo. It's about cute girls risking their life for money and dying horribly.

crazizzle85

Number twenty, "you and I are polar opposites", is the romance anime you've been waiting for. I promise. It avoids one of the things you find must annoying. It's also just cute and relatable. Main girl is so amazing.

Kenneth Rose

Need to get you to react to the OPs/EDs for Ishura. Guarantee you'll love those, especially the second OP.

charlymoon

Motsu really brings the "eurobeat" vibes to the next level he also sings in some shakugan no shana openings, opening 2 of Accel world, opening 2 of Strike the Blood and IRyS - DIAMOND GIRLFRIEND

Alderanex

My favourite anime song this season could very well be „Yoake no Uta“ by Jo0ji, the JJK season 3 ending. AIZO is catchy and I like it, but that song is deep. Other than that, the „usuals“ are probably amongst my top, but, as openings come, one of the most interesting is „¬Ersterbend“ by LIN from MADKID, the OP for Shiboyugi („Playing Death Games.. .“ If that sounds like a brutal Korean live action game show, well, maybe..) The music is good, and the animation is not flashy but deep (the anime too), hard to describe more, you‘d have to watch it. It definitely is not „usual“.

charlymoon

in the 11th position Jigoku Sensei Nube 2025 (Hell Teacher) is a remake of an old anime with the same name that aired in the 90s about a teacher with a demon hand that has to fight all kinds of spirits that hunt his school I actually had the chance to watch some chapters while growing up, it was good but I haven't watch the remake

Barack O. Llama

"how is oshi no ko not on here? i know it doesn't have an opening yet but still" lol luke cracks me up sometimes

TheElementalerWars

It wasn't on the list that I could tell, but a really good anime airing this season is "Kunon the Sorcerer Can See" - A boy is born with a curse thanks to being a decendant of the Hero who killed the Demon Lord. The curse causes people to be born without something whethere it be an arm, emotions, or in his case his eyesight. Being born with the "Hero's Scar" and awakening as a Sorcerer he is held in high regard. Though he himself hates everything and only wishes he could see. After having a revalation with his first magic lesson he makes it his goal to make eyes he can see with using his sorcery. It is honestly jus a really good series that is not going to get much love at all!

Kobury

You and I Are Polar Opposites is actually amazing romance, like one of the best i've seen past few years. You should react to the OP & ED, they're super creative! Certainly a sleeper this season, i've seen a lot of people interested in it, the comedy is also top notch

Kobury

So true! The anime is a treat

Knight

It's alright you can take your time and watch Fate Strange Fake when it all comes out later on like you did with Hero X

AttackRunRepeat

I know the editor had to fight for their life with that Fire Force OP not to show a spoiler.

SQX Barto

Number 31: Journal with Witch - an anime about grief and moving on, I highly recommend it! Number 16: The Holy Grail of Eris - a ghost plotting a revenge :)

Lu C

Tamon's B-side - a part-time housekeeper founds out the true personality of her favourite pop singer... comedy + romance Hana-kimi - girl enters an allboys school + dorm to support her favourite athlete, also comedy + romance Ao ni Miburo / The Blue Wolves of Mibu It's a historical anime situated in 1860s Kyoto. It's about a young boy joining a group of ronin (samurai without a lord), loyal to shogun, before this group transforms into the Shinsengumi. So intrigue, swords fight, training...

DRACO

How bout you tho? How many shows you currently watching dude..? Tbf I had a lot of shows that I finished before entering 2026.

DRACO

Hopefully after Winter 2026, maybe start at April.

JimenezC

I agree with number 31, Journal with Witch is such a good slice of life anime about handling grief :)

Shana

How tf is "Roll over and Die" OP not on this list?!? It slaps!?

Shana

Right?! Roll over and Die OP is amazing. Also, look at the budget for the anime compared to how good it looks? It's like they are making gold out of cardboard.

Sai

I watch these because Luke gets to see how small his world is in anime each season. No, they are not going under the radar. They are just new and people are learning about them as they go. You have not seen everything you need for Fate strange fake! You are missing Lord El-Melloi II. Without that you won't know who a few awesome characters are. I'm watching every Isekai and fantasy anime I can watch (except that yaoi one, bite me) I love them all. I get so hyped for them, more than the mainstream anime. I can't say why, but they just fill me with excitement. I am shocked Roll Over and Die wasn't on the list. The song went pretty hard! The anime goes harder. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUdMc-TYOIs

Frentzy

Don't worry about "anime under the radar" that 'we' need to tell you about. Most new anime that aired this season aren't that good for you to watch, so don't worry about it. Those that are a continuation don't count. Out of the new ones, sentenced to be a hero is the best, rest is mid isekai or mid ecchi or mid romances or mid fantasy. Most of those that impressed you were a sequel anyway.

DevDSilver

i find it horrific that you will watch fate strange/ fake before watching fate apocrypha which is the best fate series to me.

Marcio Neves

Lots of great opening this season. Many of them would be worthy the full reaction. If I don't forget about it, I'll come back tomorrow commenting about each of the animes I'm watching from this list. But I can say the fits one, #40, is very good, both the opening and the story itself 😁

Marcio Neves

Oshi No Ko is not in there because that opening was special, done by B Komachi. I am still not sure if that song will actually be the opening, with proper visuals, or if it will be a completely different song (I haven't research anything about it, I am watching completely in the dark 😁)

Michael

Just get rid of Sentenced to be Mid and replace it with Fate.

Madara_Uchiha_2022

Not all Isekai’s are mid yk, most of them are pretty good, I’m probably biased towards them because I love Isekai/fantasy stories.

Madara_Uchiha_2022

Anyway Luke, most anime that came out in winter 2026 is actually pretty great, haters gonna hate, but I love em, hopefully you won’t let people ruin your chance to see the 2026 winter animes.

Frentzy

- Kunon the Sorcerer Can See, - Noble Reincarnation: Born Blessed, So I'll Obtain Ultimate Power, - Hell Mode: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing. I watch these 3 this season and i will finish them. Don't worry I watch all isekai, but I am not afraid to say they are mid. Mid plot, mid animation, mid sound, mid everything. No idea what you find good about them, but i find them as 'comfort'. I wanna eat something? I pop one and BOOM, best meal time. I wanna waste 20 min and read ragebait comments on how admins not posting on time cuz its a pirated website? BOOM I pop one episode and I have that experience.

Kyle_116

Harsh vocals/growls very rarely have mass appeal.

Kyle_116

You have to keep in mind lack of discussion/reactions on the internet doesn't mean a show isn't popular. I mean Sentenced to be Hero has 173k people on Myanimelist listed as interested and it has 53k ratings on Crunchyroll (a lot of other new shows are 7-15k). The people are watching.

Lu C

Masayoshi Ooishi - you did the First Take version of the Nozaki-kun OP "Kimi ja Nakya Dame Mitai", but you never saw the great OP animation I hope there will be a slot for older shorter anime on YT, currently all the slots are filled by action or fantasy titles or both with exception of Oshi no Ko that is drama Would really like to see more pure comedy I don't need you to watch to cry, I would really like you to watch some wholesome or comedy titles (Kamisama Kiss, Nozaki-kun, Saiki K, The Way of the Househusband (MC voiced by Nanami from JJK), Nichijou...)

Wakuza

I don't really have top 5 yet at the moment but one of the op I really like at the moment JJK season 3 op-Aizo and Noble Reincarnation op-Break Up by Super⭐Dragon which i'm actually surprised didn't make it into the list but that's just me idk about the others though I don't really know what to anime to recommend from this season but there's a pretty old one i'd like you consider watching and Isekai anime called Familiar Of Zero it got 4 season basically a romance isekai with some action with sword and magic sounds kinda basic but i would love to see you react to this or at least at one of the most epic scene from this anime

Super Ryo Reacts

I cant say I have any on my top yet because frankly, I'm so, so far behind in my anime backlog, aside from My Hero Acadamia, I haven't watched any other anime from the Fall season, and so I'm not even gonna start anything for this Winter 2026 season just yet. Maybe I'll slot in Frieren though, because I'm just too obsessed with Frieren T.T

T

Anime #23's main female character is voiced by Hayami Saori. Thus it should be watched.

Marcio Neves

And this is a personal ranking. One made by community vote may included it, and the order of the openings could change drastically 😁
