Random facts: In the video "Haunted" the woman holding the cat is Elon Musk's mom. The beginning of the video "Partition" she drops the napkin on the floor because she's trying to get the attention of her husband who's reading the newspaper, then she proceeds to fantasize. The "Jealous" video begins where her "Partition" fantasy ends, she snaps out of the fantasy and realizes her husband has been ignoring her. Silly man to do that lol. This album was released a few months before their infamous "elevator incident" that was speculated to be caused by his infidelity.

But hopefully after this, you do the screening & 5 Part Mini-Docs!! She has FIVE mini documentaries that talks about her vision for the album, behind the scenes of making the album, live studio recordings, & ETC. Its on her OFFICIAL Beyonce’ YouTube channel & it starts with Part 1: The Visual Album! She also did a Directors Screening & IG Q&A after the "Surprise Drop" album release, where she talks about the nervousness of releasing a album like this, the process of keeping it a secret, & answering questions for fans, its on her YouTube page also. There is a Platinum Edition of this Self Titled, Beyonce’ album that include some remixes to songs & a couple of other songs, like 7/11, which has its own music video as well! Lastly, being that you've already reacted to Beyoncé's 2014 VMA Live Medley Performances of some of these songs a few months back, I would suggest that you watch her Tidal X "Budweiser Made In America Music Festival" 2015 (FULL) Perfromance in Philly, where she performs these songs as a concert IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE 🤌🏾🔥& of course other hit songs! Please watch from the beginning to the end, not just selected performances, you wont be disappointed!! Yonce captions said partition because the actual song combines Yonce and Partition together into one. And the end of Yonce with the paparazzi literally creates a Partition between the two halves of the track. This will make more sense whenever you check out the album on streaming lol.

She Got the idea for the partition video from a night out with Jay Z in Paris. If you watch the videos people are suggesting, she explains more! & Yes it was Jay Z in the Partition video. He was also in the car. Hmm. When you explain jealous. I’m hearing that maybe she was ignoring her intuition. She is seeing things that don’t seem right but don’t want him to get upset or don’t want to place blame so she puts everything on herself. She doesn’t have any specific proof or real tangible wrongs so she plays it off as just jealousy. Idk if they knew better but those negative thought didn’t seem to matter when she was in his arms again.

Personally, I believe the jealousy she’s speaking of here is about her attachment to him. She constantly wants his attention and to be a priority. That’s just love we want to be in each other’s skin but we have to temper those feelings and be reasonable. If he’s in a meeting or out with friends , he can’t be with her too. She’s also so famous that she can’t just do regular things without consequences. Everything must be planned and prepared.

Regarding the song Mine, most people think Bey is talking about her personal post partum journey but another interpretation is Mine is about the time before she and Jay-Z got married and they suffered miscarriages. Bey (and Jay) has talked briefly about how difficult and heartbreaking those losses were. One can assume that the miscarriages put a lot of heavy emotions on their relationship. “We should get married, we should get married” is the biggest indicator that if Mine is autobiographical, Bey is singing about the time before she got married and they were going through a lot as a couple.

For Partition, Bey took Jay-Z to Magic City (or Ace of Spades? Some famous strip club) for his bday and she wanted to dance like the ladies. Also, Jealous is an underrated gem!

Drake's line in Mine actually does fit when you consider the album in its entirety. She has been seeking her partner's attention. Trying to be the perfect/good girl for him. She's been faithful, naughty and everything in between. She's a perfectionist and that theme is carried through from the intro in Pretty Hurts. That struggle with perfectionism has served her in her career but can prove to be detrimental in relationships if not careful. She also came to terms and accepted that underneath it all, she isn't as perfect as she portrays nor is her relationship. They both have individual issues to sort out. She signals this in No Angel. The entire album is about unmasking and revealing who she really is, flaws and all including her insecurities both physical and emotional. It's clear that after having her child it's given her a broader more mature perspective on love and acceptance of herself and her relationship.

The “Take Care” and “Nothing was the Same” albums did numbers in my house! He did lose me well before the beef but let’s not act like Drake isn’t the reason rappers sing their own hooks now and in touch with their sensitive sides 😅

I love the images of Beyonce like the Madonna in this video- I’ve always assumed it was pre-marriage but does speak to their pregnancy losses in the visuals as well. The very young people dancing around her but they are painted white. Like they exist on another plane of existence.

I went to Crazy Horse this summer when I traveled for the Cowboy Carter tour. I needed to see the inspiration for myself. She definitely added her Bey sauce and body to it. 🤭🤭🤭 and yes, we are never beating those allegations cause why did I travel to Paris again for her and Crazy Horse 🤣🤣

I've watched those videos a million times and it wasn't until now that I thought "she took the mask off to address something very private for a quick sec then but it back on to become the "public perfect" Beyoncé that we see on camera".
