AOT is an anime genre storytelling on its own...on that note, my feeling is that the only anime that wins over it is One Piece. Only my opinion though.

I watched ten episodes of "86" and found it to be quite boring and depressing. I actually gave it 7 more episodes than I should have. Glad people like it. I didn't. I am enjoying Stone Ocean much more than the previous seasons of JoJo's. I have enjoyed JoJo's very much overall, but I just like Stone Ocean as my favorite season. We'll see if the next season changes my mind. Closest anime to AoT for me is Neon Genesis Evangelion. It's definitely shorter than AoT, but it's probably the closest. They just fit more trauma into less episodes.

i have been subscribed for years and i know i do not get many upvotes but i am still waiting for kokia fate song reaction and the utawarerumono series ops/eds. Please start taking recommendation from comments other than the most upvoted you actually miss out so so much because of the unfair system you use. Also one thing i will say about mushoku tensei that get alot of hate is really stupid whenever i ask why. Just about every complains about rudy oh it is because some old guy is being a creep trying sleep with young girls. It is so stupid because 1. THESE ARE NOT REAL PEOPLE NONE OF THEM ARE. They do not have flesh and blood you cannot touch them and they are not based off a real person. 2 RUDY IS A KID HIMSELF. He is not physically 40+ he is the same age as most of his friend or love interest. That is all they ever see and never give the show a chance people need to not being narrow minded sheep and just enjoy it stop thinking so hard it is not that serious.

The first and second halves of the first season of 86 are really very different. I also found the first half a bit exhausting at times because it was so depressing, but everything has a good reason and it's worth watching because it only gets better. Believe me, it will be worth it!

Your feelings about demon slayer are why I oppose ending series with canon movies. I don't mind if it's a show that was never going to get finished otherwise. There was a show I liked last year, My senpai is an otokonoko, that was finished with a movie. But it didn't have enough content for a s2 and probably wasn't going to get one. But when MHA fans wanted s8 to be a movie, this is exactly why I hated the idea. It's been bad enough that the extra episode for s8 is coming out in May. Luckily, I think you'll be able to watch it without waiting.

Maybe if my watchlist ever calms down I'll give it another try. I hope you're right. But honestly, if a show doesn't click with me in the first episode, I usually ignore it. I forced myself to watch JJK because everyone said it was great, but it did not click with me in the first episode, but I watched through S2, and every episode was like torture. I even tried watching S3 with Luke and was like "Why bother? I hate this show."

When will you try some more non-japanese openings? There are still awesome series like Fog hill of Five elements with beautiful animation and music and also Lookism, a korean animation with OP by Ateez. Pls check it out

Like many people think Haikkyu is the best sports anime, because its either their first or maybe 2nd-3rd sports anime, but I wouldn't put it in my top 10 sports anime, not even top 15.

My favorite opening of 2025 is mirage by creepy nuts. After watching season 2 of Call of the Night anime when S2 came out it became not only my favorite slice of life but also top 1 anime overall. Bought all of the manga for it the first time and it was worth every cent.

Awe, despair and empathy is what I felt watching AoT. NaNa, Elfen Lied, Clannad, Kimi ga nozomu eien, Death note and Code Geass gave me a similar feeling, all of them for extremely different reasons but the same feeling.

about the demon slayer movie delays : im 99.9% certain that they do this on purpose in response to all the leaks and pirating BTW that AoT opening is still on my playlist and i usually play it when driving to work And the only other anime that i watched and gave me the same feeling as AoT was Higurashi. Its honestly the only other anime that made me skip sleep just so i can watch another episode without needing to wait. First episode felt slow and chill until the end. And that was the biggest hook ive seen in anime. I do hope one day we get a reaction for that anime too but its highly unlikely since the trend has shifted to newer and seasonal anime reactions

You should definitely watch Zom 100! I loved the anime and the story that it tells, and I think that you would too. The first episode is a banger and sets up the tone of the rest of the story extremely well

Well, it will be between Bleach and One Piece, and the one that don't win will be after. So I don't think that will be an issue. I hope for One Piece to win over Bleach, but I'll be happy with either x)

without spoiling, the way i would describe season 2 of promised neverland would be if in attack on titan season 4, they removed the new character and after they raided marley and went home they put the rest of the story in a 2 minute montage

to be honest i really want you to react to boruto. i know it gets lots of hate but that because the anime is 80% filler. the canon stuff is really good with some later arcs genuinely being masterpieces. also some phenomenal animation in the canon episodes

for me attack on titan is without a doubt the greatest possible piece of fiction that can ever be created. HOWEVER I would say that naruto is my favourite despite aot being better. naruto makes you feel every emotion lol

ASDFASDFASDFASDFASDFASDFAS I think it just gave me such astonishment when it first came out, and it still does, cuz I really thought Eren was such a good character, and that he was the good guy, and I think this anime just DEEPLY affected me, but when I first started this anime, back in like 2014-2015, I literally thought it was my favorite anime for a long time, and I genuinely didn't think Eren would ever turn evil or be as morbid as he was, IDK THIS ANIME GAVE ME PTSD MAYBE?!? and all that being said, it's not actually my favorite, Rumbling is a better song for sure, but every time I watch the creepy attack on titan opening, I'm just like "what is this" and it never ceases to amaze me.
