IClickedOnce

I think the guy that sentenced Tsav and Venetim might be AGAINST the coexister faction. What if he sentenced them to be immortal so that he won’t loose those that would be useful to his cause

DRACO

Sentenced to be a Hero is based on a light novel originally. There's an alternative adaptation which is a manga. Just like Solo Leveling how they use Light Novel and Manhwa at the same time.

Ara Araragi

I feel like Xylo is going to singlehandedly change the definition of "hero" in this world to the positive meaning that it has in ours.

Iron_claw

I just have to say, I've been watching this show in the dub, and the sub. and the dub For this show is up there with frieren, it is fantastic.

Obscuremango

Ye that's been my theory since we met him, I said it last week in reply to someone,

Obscuremango

Such like mushoku tensei then. Based on the light novel, there is a manga that is behind following. And the anime follows the LN

Obscuremango

Id say the sword is more Durandal as is a very powerful sword. Said to be gifted by an angel. So would fit the theme with the goddesses

Obscuremango

The fact the guy allowed him to get the gifts is something

DRACO

Yes exactly. A lot of other animes/manga/Light novels do that!

Virax

Man Venetin saying that King isn't a King is kinda nice if you look in the last episode where they said that he can't say the truth after he became a hero

Arctic_Hokkyoku

I'd say for me so far: Animation 10/10 Story 7/10 and Lore 7/10, Characters 8/10. The characters are very good especially Xylo even if the rest of the cast is 1d still. The story and plot for me are just not very eventful (Yet at least) there is more that the anime can do with its concepts similar to how Rezero utilizes RBD, but so far the Heros getting brought back stuff hasn't happened so its disappointed me a bit. The last few episodes were kind of slow compared to Ep 1 but this episode was very good. Hopefully we get some crazy episodes later that gain interest in the series again.

Antivalentine

I think Tatsuya has a system. Before his scream it looks like hes pressing buttons or something. It would make sense if he has been summoned, summoned people often have systems that natives dont have

John Stevenson

its most likely a time and budget deal with the war scene its only 12/13 episodes and they have to get to a certain point in the story within the length of episodes so like alot of anime sadly things get cut to progress on with the story since the war could have have easily took 2-4 episodes to animate fully. But overall I am enjoying the anime shame it doesnt seem to be getting much attention after episode 1, gives me the same vibes of oshi no ko episode 1 then alot of people dipped shame

Demi

Hmmmm I'm getting a feeling that the long haired dude might actually be a good guy. Why else would he be making very powerful Heroes, it just doesn't make any other sense to me. Sure he knows some sketchy shit is going on but he doesn't want to cause a public panic that's why the truth can't get out.

TheMonarch

Sad to see that he dropped this series but keep watching trash like JJK

Pakom

Kind of sad that he stopped reacting to this Anime and hope he catches up when it,s finished. It,s Actually god damn good it,s refreshing to see Studio actually putting talent to work where it,s needed

Bryan Ross

Was this dropped? I was looking forward to seeing more

Antivalentine

I was really hoping this wouldn't get dropped, even just for Patreon. It's so good!!

Nikkelz

Sentenced has not been dropped nor any of the other seasonals. Luke schedule got a little crazy lately from a week away with family to a undisclosed weekend & this weekend he is at a wedding. They'll be caught up as best he can when he returns next week. I wouldn't hold my breath on triple drops so expect a few weeks to catch up with each one.

John Stevenson

I am going to assume that Luke dropped this series since its been nearly a month ?? damn youtube not viewing this show, yes its not the best story but it still is a fun show to watch. Guess ill just watch it on my own time then :(

Obscuremango

Is this dropped or waiting for the rest to come out to finish in one go?

Obscuremango

Based off a novel not a manga, just like mushoku

Obscuremango

Hope your right it just finished

TheRPGhost

Luke will be watching the rest during a stream, still TBD since the looming threat of being unfairly banned again for showing anime on twitch is still present. Having to wait out that whole situation until it, hopefully, gets properly remedied.

Obscuremango

Ah on stream. So gotta wait for them then the vod

Yero19

If Luke is having problems with the streams, why make the rest of this series one? It's better to continue as a Patreon series.

MangoAsylum

It froze at 28:55 for me and i waited more than i should because i thought Luke was so shocked, surprised and happy that it finally happened.
