jolyne time, yes the very end of part 6 is one of my favourite sections of any anime ever icl. its THAT good

Rem is best waifu

Woke up in time on a lazy Saturday to feed the dog, make coffee and then sit down just in time for Luke to pop up for more Jojo. Btw after this episode I my favorite arc of part 6 so I look forward to the rest.

rarebearvt

no I also didn't like those 2 episodes

Matthias

Are you gonna watch part 7 right after part 6?

Barack O. Llama

8:30 this is really simple and laid out in a way for a toddler to understand. just because there's like 30 people around her doesn't mean she remembers all 30, she only ever spoke to 1 or 2 people at the same time, even if she spoke to like 5 people in total she just forgets the first 2. 9:19 they literally explained this last episode where they are and why 10:50 okay luke is trolling now. okay lets say right now you teleported to a completely random place and dont have any memories you made in the last hour. why the would one of your first three thoughts/ actions to look at a random computer and read sticky notes. 23:24 ... idk how to say this simpler than the anime lmao but I'll sure try. no she did not imprint something in her mind and no she can't read binary. she did something very simple that everyone did in school in computer science class. you simply colour in the 1's and leave the 0's blank is luke the one under this stand ability? i fully agree that it picks and chooses about the 3 bits of memory but 90% of your issues with it and the past few episodes are you not understanding simple concepts the people turning invisible and the conversations are the one thing thats weird tho

Jacowab

this fight is definitely a consequence of adapting into anime form. in the manga if you immediately understood the concept of "only retaining 3 memories" you could just skim through the scenarios she finds herself in, but in the anime you have to watch it at the specific pace that the anime chooses and it can be a bit annoying.

Filip

And now, the best arc begins, and this arc, was probably the worst :D

Jacowab

your okay Luke, most fans consider from after the Meteor fight to this fight right here to be the worst stretch of Jojo, i was actually surprised you thought the Feng Shui fight made any sense at all because that and this one is often said to be the worst written fights in the series

Holo Virgo

I understand you bro... these episodes were kind off annoying... btw, I think you can make the blinking at the end of the text disappear by pressing F7.

Amadeus

Pucci is goin to space to bring back Kars for the finale reunion

Barbietube

Yeah those 2 episodes were a little silly but i still enjoyed them a lot

Brynden

I think these two episodes were not amazing, but it was good. Like, if I was going to see a whole anime about this ability written like this, I wouldn't like it, but for a minor antagonist in Jojo it's fine imo. It's fun, I like Miu Miu and it explains a bit more about the prison. Her betrayal to Pucci also made sense, even if nothing else did, she never showed loyalty to him or Dio (I don't think she knows anything about him or Pucci's plan), she only wanted to avoid that the prisoners escape but obviously she doesn't care as much to die for that.

Recall

No the problem with this fight for you is that you're being dense on purpose for some reason and not realizing how this ability would affect a person. Yes the stand ability is annoying as it should be but it hasn't changed at all on how it works. The author picks and chooses what jolyne actually retains because if he didn't the story would just not progress. You're also calling emporio a dumb ass for not remembering when he is attacked by the stand that makes you forget. Your analogy of him seeing fire and stepping into it doesn't really work because you can tell that its fire from just looking at it. Tell me what is he supposed to think when he sees water on the ground: "oh look there's water, but I can't stay because of this information I have to tell jolyne" or "That water is electrified for sure, I can tell because plot" I can't believe I have to explain this but people aren't actually disappearing when jolyne doesn't remember that only happened to show what it look like from her perspective, hence why the bullets still hit even though she only "saw" 3 of them. Instead of remembering each bullet separately she just remembered the reflection of all the bullets at once. To use your technique of critiquing, Its like taking separate photos of different people versus taking a group photo of those same people. People are asking or confused on if you are enjoying this part because every minute you pause to critique or complain on a new detail that was or will be explained because you don't get it therefore it must just not make sense. i have no doubt that you actually are enjoying it but it does come off as you hating or calling the writing bad by calling the entire thing "bizarre". There are weird moments in jojo but calling everything you don"t understand weird instead of trying to think about it feels a lot like saying "it's bad writing because its bizarre, but it has bizarre in the title so it gets a pass".

haru

Luke, you're gonna get cooked for this one, but honestly, I get where you are coming from. The way the stand is explained and presented is a bit confusing. The presentation specifically makes it seem contradictory in places, like when she is in the recreation room with the group of people. The anime shows the entire group on screen at once, but that isn't from Jolyne's POV I believe, but rather the viewer's. Like you, I'm just glad this section is over so we can move on to better things (I'm hoping so at least, this is my first time watching this part as well).

Bryan Ross

I liked the concept, but yeah, I think it was executed kind of poorly. The author kind of picks and chooses when to apply the rules to allow plot progression, and the rules don't really seem to apply consistently. I think this second episode was a lot worse than the first one

Zaki Alkabli

The sheet of binary is the same as a sentence like shes been writing this whole time. Its one piece of info copied by her stand

Zaki Alkabli

Its okay luke! Dont let a few odd episodes put you off… a lot of people didnt like them either. I did read the jojos manga almost entirely but i never got to this part of the part 6 manga but ive heard its better there in some places…

Nate Ming

This coming arc is absolutely insane and I can't wait for Luke's reactions

Magic Fibre

Haha, now you see why many people believe part 6 is a major downgrade from 4 and 5. I absolutely do agree that this stand makes no sense. The only exception is Emporio getting shocked, since they perfectly explained why he doesn't know the water's electrified. This fight is my least favourite of part 6 (although there is still one terrible fight in this part). It's just like watching Part 3 again, with Jotaro and his plot convenience bs

Sai

Maybe stop trying to get the rules and just ride along.

Wakuza

ngl Luke Jailhouse Lock is a very confusing probably to everyone

nik

I agree with you Luke, these last two episodes have been really odd in the anime format, but basically, Mew Mew's ability just exaggerates human perception. For example, when you hyper-focus on one object in front of you, your mind tends to forget the other items that can be right in front of your face, except for that one object that is in front of you. An analogy would be, a magician using a sleight of hand trick that is right in front of your face that you can easily spot out, but they distract you with their other hand with another object in that hand. So even though you see both things, you only notice the object the magician wants you to see. To see how human perception relates to Mew Mew's ability, is that you remember 3 pieces of information, in this case you see 3 people, and your mind automatically forgets everyone and everything else. That's why Mew Mew was invisible to Jolyne. Cuz Mew Mew was there, and then Jolyne sees the guards and notices them, and since Mew Mew is still there, she's just not being recognized in Jolyne's mind. In order for Mew Mew to be re-recognized into her mind, you'd have to do something like punch her or make her notice you in an obvious way. Simply talking or standing isn't enough, since her mind is still hyper-fixated on the 3 guards. What Jolyne did, is get a new piece of information, the binary code that Emporio gave her, which she used to color-in, with her stand's string, thus letting her see an image of Mew Mew, thus letting her notice the real Mew Mew. The stand ability makes sense if you exaggerate human perception and think about it deeply. I don't blame you for not understanding it immediately. I personally didn't understand it immediately when i was watching your reaction. I just read some other comments, then I started thinking for a couple of minutes on how human perception works, then realized that was what Araki (Jojos Author) was going for. That makes the most sense and it fixes the issue on how Jolyne doesn't notice Mew Mew who is right in front of her. Lastly, I think the section where people are disappearing in front of Jolyne is a visual representation of how she views people at that moment. Basically, there's more than 3 people there, but they are invisible to her, so they "disappear." This didn't *just* start happening now. It happened last episode too, but we just didn't see the visual representation because it wasn't important at that time. In this episode, it was important because they were guards who were looking for her. That's just an anime decision I guess. It'd be nice if they hinted at it by showing the disappearing stuff earlier, but oh well. Edit: I forgot to add in, Mew Mew helped them in the end because she's not super loyal to White Snake/Pucci. She doesn't care for him, she only cares for her safety and was scared of White Snake. But at the end, she was scared of the guards shooting her, so she activated her ability to let them out. Mew Mew was White Snake's ally, but not loyal enough to lay down her life for him lol

Iron_claw

I have some vtubers you need to react to Leaflit, Smugalana, SquChan, Kitsunero, Banana juju, Rev says desu, Ember paradox. All of them are amazing vtubers

Laslow

the previous episode made sense but this one just broke every rull of mew mew stand even the activation limitations of the stand (to activate the stand ability the target need to touch prison bar so how all those guards got affected at the end)

ThiamThi2

Is this the last season of the show or is there another one left?

bryanPSX

I think the "you can only remember 3 pieces of information" depends on how you choose to store than information. Like if you separate a sentence into 3 different sentences, even if they contain the same information, they are stored separately in your brain. It's the only way to make sense of the rule.

bryanPSX

for example with the guards thing, you can perceive them as "there is a guard there", "there is a guard there", "there is a guard there", but if you perceive the information as "danger in that direction" instead on concentrating in each individual it would be stored as 1 piece of information.

Hiruman

Part 7 will be released right after he finish part 6

Hiruman

It's already halfway, so how is Luke liking part 6 so far?

Frentzy

Glad luke is having same opinion as me watching part 6. Not only it's weakest part, but also had worst release time. Basically thx to netflix they worked each time way less than required because they prioritized DUBS instead of letting cooking the animation and release JP only and then do later dubs. the only good part about part6 is that it ends very well.

Andrés Ledesma

Yeah, after reading some of the explanations in the comments, SOME things make more sense, but these two episodes were torture to watch, and Mew becoming invisible makes absolutely no sense.

DrA

It's actually exactly like the fire disappears from their vision. The way the stand works is that your perception is your memory, therefor you can only perceive 3 pieces of information which is why the first guard disappeared as soon as she began to form a new third memory. They have to actively try to retain a new memory to cycle out the old one otherwise she's not going to notice the 4th thing when she's actively thinking about 3 things. Sort of like trying to remember a new phone number in sections. The flaw of Jailhouse rock is that she has supernatural memory at the cost of the 3 limit making it so she has full retention of 3 things instead of having to memorize something in pieces which is why binary information can be memorized.

DrA

This part is much better in the manga. The anime doesn't execute it very well, just because the way it repeats. I do think dragons dream was better explained in the anime though.

Gabriel Macedo

Yeah this mini arc is very confusing on the anime People hate a lot on dragons dream fight but i honestly think this one is way worse than that one But i disagree that the last 10 episodes were also broken. But i agree that the anime definitely didn't made the best choices to explain what's happening tho
