Yayyy! Ive been waiting for Frozen!

Sarah Elise Arntzen

As a Norwegian, it's my duty to inform you that Frozen is indeed based on Norway, Arendel where the movie is placed is named after the Norwegian city of Arendal. Anna is seen In an outfit inspired by the Norwegian Bunad. Sitron, the horse, is a Norwegian fjord horse (Sitron is also Norwegian for lemon)

Ran

Raya and the Last Dragon is good!

Ran

Not a musical but is a disney movie

Leigh-Sherri Hays

Anna is Kristen Bell.. she's an actress mostly idk about her musical training.. and Elsa is Idina Menzel who also originated the role of Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway.

Sarah Elise Arntzen

And fjord horses just look like that (whit that black streak)

Alex

The horse has a streak in its hair because the breed is a Norwegian Fjord horse. They have a dorsal stripe, a dark line that runs across their spine, and it's even in their main and tail. They are very pretty, I highly suggest you look them up. This horse breed being present also points to it being set in Norway or another Nordic/Scandinavian country.

Savingstumps

I believe this was Disney's take on The Ice Queen that had been trying to do for many years. Obviously their version is fantastic.

BITBOI

Luke you have to give us a list of Disney movies you've seen so we know what to recommend

snowmeow03

"I don't want the prince to be bad" sorry for that!

Rennna

someone has probably already pointed this out but frozen is based on Norway and the horses are an actual breed: fjord horses

m

FINALLY THANK YOU LUKEEE!! frozen 2 next😊

m

Luke. I also just wanted to point out that many people do movie reactions on YouTube but they usually cut and skip certain scenes so it’s kind of like a shortened version of the movie and then they link their Patreon to get more people to come to watch the full version. So you could do that you just would have to do a little bit more editing.

Mic Pie

Let’s goooooo

Johannes

Tangled plssssss. Its goated

Ms. Chuck Terry

The evil Count in Frozen, is played by the same actor who voiced the stupid chicken, HeiHei, in Moana. I loved Alan Tudyk in the short-lived Sci Fi TV show, “Firefly”.

Ms. Chuck Terry

Kristen studied musical theater at Tisch, before she got the lead in the Veronica Mars tv show.

Tasel

I love that "love is an open door" after knowing what happens can be listen to completely differently. He never lies in the entire song even. Just the context changes.

Nate Ming

I would be so down for horror movie reactions--Weapons rocked, and the latest Final Destination was a lot of fun

Nate Ming

Also, TALK TO ME

Johannes

Frozen is from 2013

Leigh-Sherri Hays

I love that they did not need a Prince or some man to save them.❤️

Max

oh yes pleaseeee

Ms. Chuck Terry

Someone clued Luke in that Kristoff is the same actor who played King George in Hamilton? (Jonathan Groff)

Marez Canvas

WE NEED WICKED MOVIE PART 1 and 2

Barbietube

If he hasn't watched it already, i really hope he reacts to the Hunchback of notre dame or the Iron giant. Two classic peak animated movies

Nika

People are mixed on Frozen 2 afaik but personally I loved it (especially the music)

Vitero27

Do “In The Heights” on the next poll plllleeeeaaaassseeee

Jonah Vianello

Duuuude the iron giant makes me cry so much rvery time😭 its so peak😭

TheKnightwatchOfficial

I love this movie, but the parents were absolute asses to both of their girls. And it's not like they even told Anna what was really going on before they left just in case. Love Frozen, but the setup story could have been handled better. I mean, why not ask the rock trolls for help?

Mad Cheshire Cat

I would highly recomend for you to watch the Song "Monster" from the Frozen Broadway Musical too. It's incredible! ...A bit depressing, but a amazing Song and it gives a more insight on Elsas feelings and thoughts.

Cyber

but also, the sisters' relationship and lives were frozen. unable to move on

MatiX

You should watch "Cosmic Princess Kaguya". It's not a disney movie, but a really good music anime movie. HIghly recommend

TEHUTI SEVERIN

Meet the Robinson should be on the list

PumpkinSparks

I agree, but I would argue that both the parents and Elsa internalized their trauma responses and kept adding onto that. Neither ever learned to actually work through the fea and find a healthy coping mechanism. That is basis for the trigger of the movies drama! It doesn't excuse the parents (you can't really fault Elsa, she was a child and never learned any better), but it explains their behaviour. It wasn't done out of malice or neglect, they didn't know any better and projected their own fear onto their child. What they needed wasn't vague warnings from a magical rock being, but actual therapy!!!

misswtfrenchtoast

I'm not asleep, my mind is alive! 🤣😂 Never gonna be able to watch this without thinking of that now 💀

PumpkinSparks

Unpopular opinion: I don't care for Olaf! I think his character is unecessary and kinda distracts from the movie. They already had the lovable comic relief sidekick maskot character in Sven. Olaf basically is just a Josh Gad vehicle that doesn't progress the movie and kinda distracts from the plot. His song is fun, but takes you out of the plot. And every major scene where he actually does something could have easily been given to someone else... Also another slightly unpopular opinion: While I love that they slapped us in the face with the love at first sight prince charming trope, I think it would have benefited if they would have given Hans some scenes where his reactions were more ambigous. Like, narcissistic sociopaths absolutely exist and most of the times you can't tell until it's too late cause they are masters in manipulations. But there are some scenes where I feel that the charades are kept up for us viewers but it kinda doesn't make sense in world. Also I would have loved it if Hans turned out to be a good guy (the conflict of the movie would still work. Just give the asshole stuff to Weasletown), and Anna would realize that she doesn't actually know Hans. But she spent time with Christoph and seen a lot of his quirks, but still likes him a lot. And they both could have realized that they rushed into the engagement because Anna wanted to get out of her isolation and Hans needed security as the 13th son, but they're just not right for each other...

Serra Shi Maco

There is actually a theory that Hans WAS good and only "turned" evil, so to speak, because of the trolls magic (since they wanted to get rid of Anna's fiance). Personally, I don't think it's in any way what they intended, but it's still interesting to think about. Also, since Frozen is losely based on the fairy tale the Ice Queen: Hans is supposed to be the Mirror from that tale. If you observe him closely you will see how his attitude kind of always mirrors the person he is talking to and only when Anna returned with the "frozen heart", he showed his evil side.

Cyber

and before people ask, i couldnt find the youtube version where i've seen it originally, and google keeps pushing TikTok propaganda to my top feed, so we'll have to deal with it.

Maks Lesniewski

To add everything that's been said about this film being set in a place inspired by 19th century Norway - at one point, there's a mention of "lutefisk", and just spare you the research: Lutefisk is a traditional Norwegian dish, which, from what I've heard, barely anyone in Norway really likes. It consists of dried, salted fish which is marinated in lye.

Ms. Chuck Terry

Did you know when searching Google you can exclude certain platforms. For example to search for ‘Faouzia” , I can use Faouzia -TikTok This should exclude TikTok from the results. Can do with Facebook, Instagram, X, Threads, X, etc.

Ms. Chuck Terry

Have you seen “Inside Out”? Not a musical. But my favourite kids movie.

Cyber

Oh I know. I tried that but I wasn't getting the same video that I wanted. (Your Google results will be different than mine because we are being watched and studied...) And I was in a hurry because it's not a huge deal to share it or not. 😂 I just absolutely hate tiktok so much that I thought I needed to put a disclaimer for myself 😂

Cyber

the cart wagon blew up because it has a fresh coat of lacquer on it (which is why he told ana to not put her feet on it), and Lacquer for wood polish is EXTREMELY flammable... and there's a lit torch in the cart when it fell... Youcan even hear Kristoff complaining that he just finished his payments on it too lol

Amy Roberts

On to Frozen 2!! Loved this, I really couldn't believe you hadn't seen Frozen and I KNEW you were going to love it :D

madison alexander

“He’s actually a good guy” Man you have a big storm coming

Poetinabox

Wherever you're planning to move, I hope it's Finland. Plenty of peace and quiet, lovely people and and actual 4 seasons so plenty of snow in the winter :D

Jessica

You should watch the two frozen specials "Frozen Fever" and "Olaf's Frozen Adventure!"

SidekickSteph

Man I’ve had a rough day, but I get to come home to you reacting to FROZEN!!!??!?!?! Woohoo!!!

Finelia Braun

Tangled Tangled Tangled yeaaah! But now Frozen! <3

SidekickSteph

Almost every single animated kids movie is sad and makes me cry these days 😂 I think that’s why we all wanted you to watch them all.

AgRoseCrystal

Vivo. React to Vivo. The music hits so hard.

AndreaB123

You DO know Jonathan Groff, the actor who played Kristoff. The very same man who played the King in Hamilton. :)

SidekickSteph

Kristen Bell has one of the most beautiful voices on this planet. I first found her from the movie Reefer Madness the Musical, which is AMAZING and she does AMAZING 😂 if you ever do that maybe just a Patreon exclusive lol

Hermione Granger

in case no ones already told you! the actor of kristoff played the king in hamilton :)

TheKnightwatchOfficial

Thank you. You perfectly put into words what I could not wrap my head around. Beautifully said! And, yeah, some therapy would have kept them home and safe.

Caroline Vitanza

WEAPONS IS AMAZINGGGGG. I'd love to see you add horror nights as a genre on here I would be SAT

Caroline Vitanza

Luke I adore you with all my soul but PLEEEAAASSEE start doing your song intros and outros for YouTube separately from these videos 😅 it not only disrupts the flow of the film, but it also adds like...45 more minutes to the video that patrons aren't really interested in watching...I know you have your standard YouTube intros where you sorta rely on the fact that it's a first time watch, but I promise nobody will be offended if you choose to add your intros after the fact. Just some food for thought from a fan and patron 🫶🏼 would definitely shorten the watch time significantly

Amy Bedster

the second one is BETTER

Caroline Vitanza

Dude you have taken this movie waaayyyy too seriously lol just enjoy the story 🤣

SidekickSteph

So good, plus another one with a great sequel.

SidekickSteph

Please do NOT ever pour hot water on cold glass, it shatters it.

Ashleigh

Loved this reaction! If I could suggest one Disney movie that isn’t a musical it would have to be the parent trap. Such a brilliant movie, I think you would love it!

Cyber

not me getting final destination vibes

Cyber

Mulan is my favorite disney movie AND, admittingly, she was my favorite princess and my awakening to my favorite type of girls that I ended up dating lmao

kayie

i'd recommend Princess and The Frog

Emma Floyd

Frozen 2 is better than Frozen 1 in my opinion, BUT I will say between the Frozen movies and Tangled- Tangled is my favorite and the best of the three. The two main characters in Tangled actually make a cameo appearance in Frozen too! If you pay attention to the crowd walking in during For The First Time In Forever you can see them walking in with the crowd. You’ll be able to spot them after you see Tangled!

Karen Boyd-Smith

I've seen a variation on the theory where he isn't evil, but corrupted by the realization he could have all the power. Every move he makes is good until someone makes a comment about him being the only one in charge and his face kind of changes at that moment. He then convinces himself he doesn't really care about Anna (which is easy enough to do since they don't really know each other at all.) After that moment, all of his actions are bad. Right before Anna punches him, he even seems almost happy that she survived. So, in short, not evil, but easily corrupted.

JustinCase Reacts

I was also going to recommend this. Wicked Part 1 and Wicked For Good. Amazing movies with Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. Jonathan Bailey is in it and Jeff Goldbloom. You won't be disappointed.

simpy fr

i js finish watching final destination and you’re right 😂😂 everything paranoid me now

JustinCase Reacts

I was also going to recommend this. Wicked Part 1 and Wicked For Good. Amazing movies with Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. Jonathan Bailey is in it and Jeff Goldbloom. You won't be disappointed. Would love to watch any of the Final Destination movies that you mentioned. Anna as an adult is played by Kristen Bell. So talented as an actress and singer. I love her humor in this. Elsa is played by Idina Menzel who was the original Elphaba for Wicked the musical on Broadway. She also was in the movie RENT and the Broadway version of it too. You may not remember but on Superfruit, Kirstin, Scott and Mitch from Pentatonix did a parody of these songs from this movie. You reacted to it. So funny and so good.

simpy fr

please watch princess and the frog !!

Mericat

Fun fact: Kristoff is voiced by Jonathan Groff, aka the king in Hamilton! You’ll love Frozen 2–even more great songs! Show Yourself I think is the best of the whole franchise. This might be fun for you to watch as well: a casual live video of the cast singing the opening song from the sequel https://youtu.be/T1E0CAGdQb0?si=o8uG1KYe518WD-_c I guarantee you’ll recognize Kristin Bell—she’s done sooooo many famous comedies throughout the years, it’s crazy that she can turn right around and voice a Disney princess!

Arista Holmes

The second one is BETTER, no lie!!

Vilohi Vidéos

IMO you'r thinking about Rivendel (Lotr), Rivendel / Arendel, it's close so

Vivasketch

I was so excited for your reaction to this! I’ve only seen it maybe twice (once with my niece) but I enjoyed watching it again with you 💜 Anna punching Hans was my favorite scene lol

Jessica

To be honest i really wish luke would edit out the parts where hes stopping to do intros before every song. I dont mind that hes trying to,get it in one recording but can we just cut those parts out of the patreon vid😭

fry

desperately need princess and the frog to make onto the next poll 😭

Tamara Wyatt

Recommend Tangled as next Disney Movie. I also think you would. Enjoy Mama Mia the movie and also Mama Mia 2 Here we go again. They are both musicals using the songs of ABBA!!!!!!

FaerieRose

Please watch The Little Mermaid. I can’t believe you haven’t seen it.

Lazuli

I think you should know that there's an special episode between the first movie and the second! Are just some sillys situations with the characters but anyway, i wanted to let you know if you wanna see it!

Lazuli

I serchead it and there's more than one special! Give you the list if you wanna check them out: Olaf's Frozen Adventure (2017): A 21-minute featurette where Olaf searches for holiday traditions for Anna and Elsa. Frozen Fever (2015): A short film focusing on Elsa catching a cold while planning Anna's birthday party. Once Upon a Snowman (2020): Explores Olaf's origin story. Olaf Presents (2021): A series where Olaf retells classic Disney stories. I think all of them should be in Disney+ so, hope this helps!

Seraphina Stardust - Fantasy Writer/creationist/Theorist/Analyst

20:27 lots will be explained in movie 2. But Elsa was never locked away. And Elsas fesr caused her to self isolate. Her parents had no idea how to help. It's one of theres weird things in which you try your best with limited information. Also who scares a child and her parents that fear of the power will be her undoing to motivate magic control. I have mixed feelings on the trolls. But I will say it always suprised me no one noticed that it was emotion that ultimately was like a shackle to Elsa.🤷‍♀️ But Frozen was originally written 100% different and changed to this. I think some elements to older versions sort leak through a little which might be the confusion.

Mia-Liisa Tamp

Can you react to billie eilishes albums first dont smile at me

ImagineFruit

I really hope for the next batch you could put Maleficent for non musical movie, it's really good.

Joshua Vaughn

OMG ADO released a music video for Vivarium and she shows her FACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mark Rigby-Jones

I sometimes feel like "Let It Go" was Disney's apology to Idina Menzel (Broadway musical star) for casting her in Enchanted (which should definitely go on your list if you haven't already seen it) a few years earlier - and then not giving her a song!

Jorja

It's very off topic but I love your jumper, is it Sidemen merch? I loved the video so much fun cant wait for the second one!

TheHufflePug

You saw Sven in Moana actually, as Maoi tried to use his hook in the crab scene, btw. There are Easter eggs in this one too, from Tangled

Lucas Prestes

I on the other hand think he could just relax and enjoy the movie and record the intros later, but I understand either idea would involve him searching the video to know where to insert or remove the intros which could be a lot of work

Carmen Hendricks

If you like musical movies, you should try "Soul" with Jamie Foxx. It's so good.

Lucas Prestes

I second this, though it may add a lot of extra work to Luke, bc he’ll have to later search the recording for the parts where he should insert the intros, so I understand his point of view too, though I agree its annoying as hell on Patreon

Lucas Prestes

I swear I lost it when Luke said “ the second thing I want in this movie is that the prince isn’t bad”

Rachael

That’s my favorite Disney animated film. I was 6 years old when it came out! 🧜🏼‍♀️

OddBallWolf

The way I have seen other people do it is that they do a full reaction to the movie and then they cut out the scenes that they had biggest reactions to/had the biggest impact on the story, into a compilation for Youtube (So mainly the scenes that made you cry :P) That way you have full context going into the scenes and both Patreon and Youtube get a reaction

Phoenix_mercury

Yeah their parents was told "control it" which should have been training so the power didn't go out of control, the parents heard "fear it" and passed that fear onto her causing her to hide from the world, her sister, herself, everything which like all things fear based eventually just imploded

Phoenix_mercury

Clearly op thinks so otherwise it wouldn't have been said, I also enjoyed it

Trina Key

"This is one of the saddest openings", just curious have you watched Up or Finding Nemo?

Aubrey Mayes

Have you seen Mary Poppins? I feel like you would like it.

Eamber

I can't wait for you to watch Frozen 2. If you think Let it Go had a fantastic message, WAIT! To me, the second movie was better and JUST AMAZING!

m

Maybe we gotta petition for him to get an editor loll

Kenneth Hoerz

With this movie, it is the first time Disney truly veers off their classic answer to what "True Love" is and how it is shown. It doesn't have to be romantic like with a kiss, it can be done with an act of putting someone before yourself, or even something like sibling love. This really broadened their way of using the classic Disney scenario, without having to stick to the same old used novelty.

Riv

The reason she cant deny the traditions, is the same reason why dictators still have sham elections, even though everyone knows its a sham, they still need to have the election because it answers the question of "why are they in charge". Traditions are especially important when they relate to power, its the tool that allow power to be easily transferred, to show this we can see that tradition of the crown, at least in real life, symbolically represent authority given by god, in reality authority always come from people, if no one recognize you as the king your not the king. You need people to recognize and give you power, but that is very difficult to do, especially back when a peasant would go their entire life without seeing the king, but you can get people to recognize the crown, now they don't need to recognize you, because they recognize the crown, its the thing thats on their money, its the thing your pastor talk about in church, ect, and the crown recognize you as the king. the ceremony acts as a way to say "look im in charge" and that becomes a tradition that people recognize, now when someone asks "why is that person in charge" the go "well, the crown say they're in charge". In short Traditions act as a proxy(much like a vpn :3) to transfer power from people to who ever is in charge. All this to say she cant deny the traditions, because its the same tradition that grants her her power.

Kenneth Hoerz

"Up" or "Inside Out" are two of the best examples of those tear jerking but wonderful movies with the best message.

Isa

Im feeling u with wanting a strong winter with good snow cuz SAME HERE ToT. I love snowboarding and making snow sculptures. We gotta manifest a winter like this fr

DKannji

Yeah, this is a good movie aside from the out of nowhere twist villain.

Kenneth Hoerz

Other Easter eggs are; At 31:47 the candy Anna stuffs her face with is a nod to the sugar rush game in "Wreck-It-Ralfe" At 19:44 Top right corner shelf is a Mickey Mouse stuffed doll At 30:15 Easy to miss painting between draped pillars is the same painting as the one in Fed's house in "Big Hero 6" on the left double sided staircase At 33:51 you see Rupunzal and Flynn Rider entering on the bottom left corner from "Tangled" Starting at 53:41 The light of Hans and Anna Dancing on the ship sails is a call back to the silhouette of Peter Pan on Captain Hooks sails At 1:38:47 Dance with the seagulls is a nod to the Penguin Dance with Burt in "Marry Poppins"

Axel

You should totally watch Repo! The Genetic Opera! Great movie/musical!

Jennifer Cash

Yes! My husband and I met in high school choir and 13 years in, we do sing around the house all the time, our kids do too! ❤️

Seraphina Stardust - Fantasy Writer/creationist/Theorist/Analyst

Yeah. Than everything makes sense in Movie 2. But then again fear is common parasite in emotions, I still like the theory that the Trolls are somehow indirectly the villains. I mean, fixer upper, their whole plan was to get rid of the fiance. So who knows what Grand pappy did for that near 180 degree personality flip on Hans. No prince is that good of an actor. And if the mind could be persuaded as they say in the beginning who knows how much of the fear came from the trolls. Think it might be explained in movie 3 or just never?

Jen Mays

It's so much fun re-watching these movies with you. Some of these I haven't seen in a really long time. Is Hercules one you've seen? If not, please add it to the list in the future; that would be a fun one to see you react to.

Amy Kat

The second movie is totally a Thanksgiving movie. No, no, really, I swear it is. (Also it's fantastic, and I can't wait for that one to come out!)

WhiteDragon6

Can't believe I'm crying over a Disney movie that I've already seen when I was a kid. Apparently some movies hit harder as an adult

dartcp

Did the parents die?... YES, it's a Disney movie. Parents in Disney movies die, get separated from their children, or something similar, so often that it's become a meme. Funny experiment: mentally go through all the Disney movies where the children are separated from their parents in some way. You'll be surprised. ^^

Maria Amado

I wanted this so hard. I cant wait for the frozen2 react

Maria Amado

When you were talking about watching other movies I was like “yeah, I don’t know if I’d find that interesting personally “ but then you mentioned horror movies and YES! cause i’m too scared to watch alone but a react would be so interesting

TheHufflePug

They sure was a lot. I thought that Sven what’s the most relevant, since he already reacted to Moana

Maria Amado

I didn’t notice the first tie I watched but, when Hans deflects the crossbow and it hits the chandelier, he looks up BEFORE taking action, he was trying to get rid of Elsa in a way that looked like an accident. Also, about the trolls, it is scandinavian lore that trolls will steal small children that are lost in the woods, and keep them that why the troll woman says in the beginning she’ll keep christopher and sven. It’s not clear if he had a family of he was just an orfan that accompanied the ice traders

godUsoland

"Let it Go" took over the world for a solid 3 months! I remember working at Walmart and this played damn near 24/7 during Christmas time. It was horrifying! :D

godUsoland

Oh, I definitely recommend a Hercules watch! I also suggest "Atlantis: the Lost Empire" and "The Road to El Dorado"

Angelique Perez

Omg yess!! Not many people know about this movie, and it's great!! Definitely a more niche movie, but definitely my type at least haha

Jen Mays

Another one I'd love to see a reaction to if you haven't seen it yet: The Prince of Egypt. The music gives me goosebumps.

Willow

This was an absolute blast to watch along with! I really love your reactions in general and it's so fun when it's something I love this much, getting to see you enjoy it yourself. I am always happy to see more movie reactions from you for sure <3

Kennedy Lawrence

Fun fact: I don’t know if anyone has said this already but Jonathan Groff who voices Kristoff, was also King George in Hamilton!

Daniel Turchan

Lot of theories about the trolls… we know they can manipulate memories, and Christof was with ppl at the beginning of the movie, he could have been working that young bc it was only him and Sven, OR… he was with someone but the trolls manipulated memories and made it seem like they took him in, this is step 1 of their master plan, another is, when showing Elsa the results of her powers, if fear is her enemy, why show her a nightmare fueled vision of what could happen if things go wrong, leading her to the path she eventually takes of isolation and fear. The trolls know Anna’s a princess and immediately try and get their kidnapped kid married to her, and when they realize she’s engaged, they say, her engagement is a “flex arrangement” they can manipulate that too… theories suggest that when Hans leaves to find Anna, he has a run in with the trolls, in the beginning, he didn’t seem to have a motive, even when he’s alone and not in public eye, the smile when he’s gets knocked in the water is genuine. Something has changed his motive, there was no reason to betray Anna, she already wanted to marry him, he was in, why betray her. The trolls wanted the person they raised and developed trust with to be in the throne… why don’t think the dad went to the trolls in the beginning of the movie, he was also obviously linked with them before hand, perhaps they do the same with him years ago and needed someone else to take his place… in what other media source have you seen trolls doing good deeds, trolls are naturally crafty and manipulative, why are the trolls in Frozen these unexpected saints, why do they have to gain from their actions… anyway, thought that would be a fun thing to ponder… ALSO LUKE, let’s go snowboarding bro 😎

Rodrigo Casiraghi Buitrago

If you liked Hugh Jackman as a singer in The Greatest Showman, you should see him acting as Jean Valjean in Les Misérables. It's a fantastic film, a romantic drama of redemption, freedom, and justice about a man and the people around him during the revolutions that followed the French Revolution after the monarchy returned years after the Napoleonic Wars.

OMGeeky

Or they are the reason for the separation by locking up their children in some high towers. Yeah, parents don't draw the best cards in Disney movies xD

Jae Right

I watched this no fewer than 1000 times with my daughter when she was a toddler and preschooler. We went through a HEAVY Frozen phase that lasted several years. Costumes, parties, jammies, everything! I thought that I was beyond it. Still, it’s such a joy watching it with you! You are so perceptive, even when unsure. Awesome, as always. Frozen 2 was the sequel that none of us knew we needed… but we absolutely needed it. Enjoy. ❄️

SarahBaerli

I really enjoy your Disney reactions! They make me appreciate the movies and songs even more. For some songs of Frozen 1 & 2 there are special versions of artists for example Demi Lovato did Let it Go. For The Greatest Showman they did this for all songs. I love those special versions as much as the originals, so check them out too.

Wirk Leon

Okay yeah the constant Luke intros are hilarious but unnecessary 😆

Leigh-Sherri Hays

I never thought of that actually but I said it because he was saying stuff like Anna got all icy or she's super cold basically lmao

Leigh-Sherri Hays

I AGREEEEEE! But he's gonna do all the ones he has access to first and hope for it to be on streaming? I have no clue when that'll be because I bought them both a long time ago. 🤷🏾‍♀️

Ashley Elliott

the second Frozen I wpould even say is better than the first <3 I LOVE Frozen 2 :)

Ashley Elliott

Kristen Bell does the talking and singing voice of Anna and Kristen is a main stream actress as well :) Idina Menzel does Elsa's voice in both movies yes, singing anf talking voice

The GoDKing 27

1:07:41 He misses the snow meanwhile us in America getting caked in it.

Ashley Elliott

Frozen 2 will make you cry lol be warned lol

Godzy Lasserre

You should definitely check Tangled and El Dorado. You might actually cry out of laughter with these two. And Kuzcko as well, even though there is not as many songs

Aliyah Hamilton

There is a YouTube channel called cinema therapy. Were they discussed the decisions the parents make and how it affects both Elsa and Anna. They do this for the first and second movie. I think you should check them out.

Safiligraphy

Great reaction, Luke! I would love to see you react to Into the Woods if you haven’t seen it yet 😍

Hridayinee

Luke maybe you got that timeless Disney feeling from The first time in forever song because Anna's singer Kristen Bell really captured those true Disney princess vocals... very forward placed and clear, bell-like. Stunning hey

Alile

I don’t know if you’ll see this because there are so many comments here (and maybe someone else already said it), but in the soundtrack for Frozen 2, Panic! At The Disco does a cover of the song “Into The Unknown”. The lead singer of Panic! is Brendon Urie, who featured on Taylor’s song “ME!”. He has an amaaaazing voice, and the cover is incredible. It would be awesome if you considered reacting to their version of the song after seeing Frozen 2! 💜

B3thbakes

I wonder if he researched and saw its Kristen Bell

Dorran

So glad you enjoyed it! Fun fact! Ice was an actual business like that for Northern countries. They would go out onto frozen lakes, cut those blocks, and then package/insulate them to ship to warmer climates! Back before refrigeration, it was the only way for warmer places to get ice. I also really appreciate that the movie didn't go with romantic love being the solution. Love doesn't have to mean romance. I think that you're going to love the second movie. For me, if anything, the songs get even better XD Also, one Disney movie (series) that does have music... but really only one song each (so, not really musicals) that I'm looking forward to you getting to watch are the Zootopia movies. The second one just came out, and blew EVERYONE away!

B3thbakes

Idina Menzel (Elsa) is an incredible singer. She was in Wicked! (Not the new one) She was also Rachel's mums in Glee..

B3thbakes

Love how much you loved this! I can never help but sing along! I watched this and the greatest showman with you today.. Can we please do Les Miserable 🙏 dont tell me you havent seen Toy story though..? Cars..? Planes..?

B3thbakes

And Rocky horror please 🙏

Time for Frozen 2 now!! the second movie have better explanation to things and better songs too!

Shadow_284

Fuck. I haven't watched Frozen in a long time, and watching your reaction made me cry several times. 🥹

Amy Bedster

pleeeeeease say you're gonna react to the west end version on disney+

Aaren YASS

Speaking of inception, He should watch Paprika! It inspired the movie. Same director as Perfect Blue.

Aaren YASS

Luke, Anastasia isn't a Disney movie, but it looks just as good!

Dogsteeves

Actually, since Disney acquired the rights to the film in 2019 when they purchased Fox, making it part of the Disney official library

Dogsteeves

Should have had your wife in the door :p

Dogsteeves

I will trade you lives I want British Rain, I HATE LAKE EFFECT SNOW!

Jason Frasier

Come on Luke, get with the program. Everyone knows the vehicle always blows up after going over a cliff, especially during a chase sequence. What other reason do you need?

Kai

I always thought the reason in this instance was because the lantern was still in the sled and the sled was made of wood

Cat A

I’d love to see you react to Road to El Dorado or Prince of Egypt! Love the reactions as always!

Cryptic Bizhiins

Ooooo those are great suggestions, I second these

Cookiee

YES YES YES !!!!

mateo duran

Thr way u didnt see rapunzel on min 33:48 i was hoping you would of noticed it lol🥀

Kindred Tatum

I'm at the part where the Weaselton men are attacking Elsa at the ice castle, there's a great song called "Monster" from the broadway musical version of Frozen that really delves into the darkest parts of Elsa's fears. I strongly recommend giving it a listen.

Hamse99

I think why Elsa didn't want to open the door is cause she didn't know how to control her powers and still had trauma from hurting her sister Anna and didn't want that to happen again

Scamper333

Prince of Egypt is a must arguably the most successful US non-Disney movie at the time

Scamper333

Same and I’ve never seen the movies but I know somethings that happen, I try to stay away from semis

Ashley Holste

"I actually liked the guy". THAT'S THE POINT!! Hans gets so much shit as a villain, but imo he's the next evolution in the concept they started with Gaston in Beauty and the Beast. Idk if you've seen that movie, but the whole point is that Gaston and the Beast are inversions of each other, with the Beast being monstrous on the outside but (learns to be) good within, while Gaston is good-looking on the outside and monstrous within. He's a deconstruction of the idea that often gets perpetuated in media and especially fairy tales that outward beauty exists bc of inner goodness. But the thing with Gaston is that while most of the town is suckered in by him and lauds him as a hero---Belle recognized the kind of person he was from the beginning. It's no secret to her or to the audience that he's the villain. But the truth is, that's not always how life works. You can't always spot abusers and manipulative people right away. Some of them are really, really good at pretending. And that's the brilliance of Hans as a villain. He's Gaston 2.0, but this time without the overt telegraphing from the beginning of his villainy. The kind of chilling (heh) thing about him is that he probably would be a good king of Arendelle, and not run the kingdom into the ground like villains like Scar did---and I think that's also an important lesson to teach. You can't always know from their actions alone what a person's character is like, and manipulators can treat others around them with kindness even while abusing the shit out of someone else. I suppose it can be argued how good the execution was, but ultimately I think Hans can teach many valuable lessons, and is a much more realistic portrayal of what manipulative people can look like.

Emily Nye

He went out there to capture Elsa, not to save Anna.

Mademoiselle Adele

Loved the reaction and especially your take on Let It Go. I spent most of my life being a crazy perfectionist and people pleaser…it only led to over a decade long ED and many other issues. I LOVE “Let It Go” it became my anthem once I began being ME not what people wanted me to be

Karen McCray

Idina Menzel (Elsa) also was in Enchanted played character Nancy

Sarah_M

💜💜💜💜

sebas velez

please react to tangled and enchanted

Amani

Not animated but gonna throw RENT out there as a suggestion since you enjoy Idina Menzel

Raphael Nguyen

Now that you've watched Tangled, I wonder if you can spot Rapunzel and Eugene going to the coronation. Had a ball watching this with you, Luke.

Kaylee Smeaton

The folklore and fairytales that many disney films are based off, were mainly brothers grimm etc. the original stories could be extremely dark. Disney is tame by comparison lol.

Kaylee Smeaton

You are thinking of ed sheerans lord of the rings inspired song called I see fire. A song about durin's folk.

Sarah Handberg

So frozen is based in Norway but based on the Danish fairytale the snow queen by hans Christian Andersen, so definitely Scandinavian

Sarah Handberg

He also plays duke weaselton in zootopia. They actually do a call back where someone calls him wesselton and he says “it’s weaselton!”😂😂

Sarah Handberg

He hasn’t seen tangled so that’s probably why

I think for me the parents were doing their best with a misunderstanding of what the Trolls told them. The troll told them she needed to learn to control her magic, and there are two ways that could be taken - the troll meant control in the sense of becoming familiar with it, learning how it works and what its limits are (or aren't), the kind of control you get from a singer using their voice delicately and deliberately, or a painter using a single-haired brush to paint miniscule details. What the parents heard was control as in suppression - locking the doors of a house to quarantine a plague, tying up a nervous horse to keep it from bolting. "Fear will be your enemy" meaning if SHE is afraid of it or herself it will only make it harder to learn the skills she needs to have the kind of fine control and restraint that a master of a craft has, but the parents took it as SHOWING fear will make it worse and OTHER people's fear will destroy you. (not their fault with that magical imagery tho wtf dude) On top of which they're probably scared if Anna finds out about Elsa's powers, whatever the troll did to keep her from slowly turning to ice would be undone. So they secret her away until she's able to suppress her powers enough to be safe - both safe to be around and safe from other people finding out. Except that their misunderstanding of what was needed led to them making it so much worse, because she learned to ALWAYS be scared - of other people, of the power, and of herself - and didn't actually learn to USE the power safely. They undermined her ability to BE safe trying to KEEP her safe. I can't entirely blame them because they so clearly loved Elsa so much, they went to such unbelievable (and probably detrimental to themselves) lengths to try to do what they thought was the right thing, but in the end it was the worst thing they could've done. It wasn't until Elsa let herself actually USE her power that she started to be able to control it, but in the meantime her fear of herself and her fear of hurting others led to most of the events of the movie. Her fear of being touched and her lack of control (from lack of intentional use) led to the initial outburst at the party, her fear of what she'd just done and of what everyone would think of her led to her freezing the kingdom, her fear of going back or being around Anna or having fucked everything over forever led to her freezing Anna's heart, all the rest of it led to soldiers coming to her ice palace and nearly letting Hans get the power he was trying to usurp from them. And it was only once the fear was drowned out by grief did the storm stop, and only once Anna's act of love had thawed her heart and saved her own life did Elsa finally feel enough of a release from her fear to control her powers the way she'd been meant to the whole time: by using them carefully and with skill (new skill to be sure but she had been using it enough to gain a little more control already). ...sorry this was so long, I"m just. Very passionate about this film and it has always resonated with me in a particular way and my wife's already heard me say these things over and over and she is very patient but not THAT patient lmao. ;)

I'm really glad you enjoyed Frozen, Luke! There was an unnecessary amount of hate for it when it came out and I always shook my head. It's great :D Gonna watch part two with you tomorrow. ♥

Dashdemberel L

Luke, you're so adorable🥰 I love you. I watched so many reaction channels on YouTube, but you're the one who made me to join patreon and subscribe your channel. You're very emotional, funny and cute and very good at paying attention to little details Frozen is my 1st full video reaction I watched on your channel. I thought it was Frozen 2 because I loved it more than Frozen 1 and opened this video, but I didn't realise it was Frozen 1 until I watched 1/4 of the video 🤣. But I am happy with that I watched it, we shared our emotions. 🥰 I have one recommendation for you to react which is Ne Zha 1 and 2. They're very good animations and hit the records of all time animations. Please reaction it🤗 I'd love to watch them again and share our emotions.

J

As always, your reactions are so much fun to watch. Thank you ❤️
