the disc popping out of heads stuff has been fully explained and shown countless times and is very simple. if the priest has ever used his ability on you then you have discs, if you are ever knocked unconscious then the discs pop out. this has always happened and has never once not happened.

Well, the snails and and frogs were different things. Snails will be explain (in my opinion bs, I hate the explanation). But the frogs, that was basically because he summoned a hurricane who carried them to the prison. And this new ability, the thing about the ozone, that is OP. Without the ozone, the Earth would be cooked.

But his issue is that something doesn’t make sense and that it’s badly written and sarcastically said it has flawless logic… when it was fully explained and he chose to ignore the explanation. Like he was saying weather’s ability makes no sense even though the ability is to recreate any weather phenomenon that has ever happened which is exactly what he’s been doing. Obviously he can choose to dislike whatever he wants but it’s weird that he makes things up

Yes, and that's why he is confused, since Weather didn't have his memories for some time but Jolyne implied that she needed Versus to get it out, instead of just being able to take it by herself. A possible explanation is that she wanted to play it safe, I guess. Luke already explained several times that he is enjoying and not at all hating the anime, even if it's confusing sometimes.

Oh yeah, "Snail Eaters" are a real bug: "Scaphinotus" is the genus if anyone wants to look them up. As for why Versus was after the disc, the anime does say directly, I would argue it is a case of simply watching a lot of things each day and simply forgetting, nothing wrong with that. Basically Versus is desperate to escape his current life and misery so he wrongly assumed getting the memory disc would let him use it to reach heaven, cept there are a lot of other requirements for this so it is just a doomed plan from the get go.

Luke gets confused and forgets things. He never said it was bad writing, and it's never come off as him actually disliking/hating what's happening. I think you're just taking it a bit too seriously. Like it's very clear he's been having a blast watching.

Versus is overall a very sad and pathetic person, doomed due to his own stand acting like a curse in childhood etc. Does not excuse him in any way, he is a literal monster who would actively murder children or flat out just assault one like in this episode.

Versus wanted Jotaros disc to look at his memories and know the steps to "achieve heaven" the same way Pucci did to get the green baby. none of the contents will help him but he doesn't know that

Feels like you need to reread the scenes that you don't understand. He explained his thought process and why he wants the memory disc in detail but you just skimmed over it and spoke over it, and then when you didn't understand you spent the rest of the episode complaining about it. 😭😭 It's okay to rewind if you miss stuff

I actually like that jolyne is a freak without it being about men/a man, its dosent feel the same like how other women are written, and araki has made plenty of freaked out characters

someone's real memories or real stand wont pop out of them unless they are hit by White Snake, but if a memory has been modified (like to remove who White Snake is) or if a stand is not theirs, then that specific memory or stand will partially pop out if they are dazed by a heavy attack or fully pop out if they are knocked unconscious. these are weathers real authentic memories so they wont pop out no matter how hard you hit him, but Underworld digs up the past so he is able to dig up the memory disk that once existed.

The Heavy weather stand even when I read the manga still made no sense to me. After watching the anime I am like okay I will just go with it. It is still interesting but still bizarre.

Answering lots of questions and confusions you had in this episode: Disks do pop out if your soul was turned into disks by White Snake in the past and you fall unconscious The kids did escape the hole - you could see them escaping in an earlier scene Versus's plan makes perfect sense - going to Cape Canaveral would not help him - he needs Jotaro's memories to know what to do at Cape Canaveral Versus did not "teleport" to Emporio - he just ran and caught up. He's an adult - chasing down an 11-year-old boy would not be difficult Complete destruction of the ozone layer would kill most of humanity within weeks. Australia only lost a few percent of it iirc

How many times has Luke titled an episode "The Strongest Stand?!" at this point? 😆 But this episode cracked me up. The ridiculousness of the snails, Luke's reaction to Jolyne's comment about snail sex, the random football players out of nowhere. 😂

Nah, I get Luke completely, this episode's plot is a mess. My least favorite scene in Stone Ocean is when the priest says, "Hey, don't let Versus Escape" and Jolyne and Ermes just accept it. I know Jolyne asks the officer where "two men" went, but in reality it seemed like plot convenience that both escaped while Jolyne and Ermes were "confused" by Heavy Weather. Like, confusion or not, going after Versus here to stop Weather Forecast is a plan, definitely. And defending Emporio is the just thing for them to do. It just doesn't feel right that they basically didn't care about Pucci at all when Pucci can "also" stop WF. I also have gripes about the snail eating bugs and the football team, but that's all they are, gripes. Its still a strong arc, and maybe is cleaner feeling in the manga, but as a singular episode it provides a circumstantial understanding to the audience.

Because thats how the show works? The rules are established, based on them we try to understand how things work. Half the fun is undertanding how powers work and try to use them in exciting ways. I cannot understand how you can be opposing to idea of trying to make sense of magic abilities as if they were real (when the show is literally about that).
