NoahNotes

Did you drop Hell’s Paradise, Sentenced to be a hero, Frieren and JJK?

Barbietube

Im wondering, when is the rest of Gachiakuta gonna be released? Maybe he mentioned it in this video, but frozen is not my cup of tea.

godUsoland

Show Yourself hits everyone hard. Such a beautiful song!

PumpkinSparks

I'm not through with the reaction, but since you asked (and I would forget otherwise): Idina Menzel is basically broadway royalty! She started of as a Musical artist; her first huge role was in the debut of Rent where she was Maureen (she later revised that role in the movie adaptation) and the other big thing she is widely known for is being the first Elphaba (Wicked). She later did some pure acting roles in movie and television, and I believe she also did a solo album. She has done a little voice acting, that is 90% Elsa. But VO, camera acting, stage acting, and musical acting are VERY different from each other and most actors are great in one, mediocre at best in the others. So far she's been stellar in all of them! A true queen!!!

Kari

a fun fact, Arendelle was originally meant to be destroyed and they were gonna rebuild and restart but they ended up going towards the decision we have now.

Bria

When are we getting the Dreamgirls reaction? 😊

m

Perfect after work treat!!

madison alexander

Technically in this movie the grandfather is the bad guy but the bad guy of the past

SidekickSteph

I love Frozen 2, but I do prefer the first one. I love that they give Kristoff a song, but I really don’t like how like weird Anna is with Kristoff in this movie. She was a little quirky in the first, but she wasn’t like obsessing over every little thing he would say and take it the wrong way. Like I’m glad they make it end well, but I was really looking forward to their interactions now that they were a couple, and it was just off putting. That’s my only complaint though and I still really love this movie.

SidekickSteph

Noooo I love the intros, keep them in!!! My favorite one was the intro at the end of Coco, when you were in the middle of an emotional breakdown, and had to do it 😂 sorry it wasn’t funny, but kind of is too lol

SidekickSteph

I’m sure you don’t care about this, but my highest up voted comment I’ve ever done on YT is on your very first Taylor video 😂. Buckle up, Taylor makes us feel things 😉 love your content man, you’re the best!

D(e)adJoke

I absolutely agree. They did Christoph really dirty in this movie, in my opinion. There was originally supposed to be a different song with christoph, it's called "Get it right". That one was so much better than the one he got. It captured the great chemistry between him and Anna perfectly. I would really recommend Luke to react to this song as well, you can find it on youtube.

Sarah Elise Arntzen

As a Norwegian I feel it’s important for you to know that the northuldra people are based on the real indigenous Sami people of Norway, who we historically haven’t always treated the best

Sarah Elise Arntzen

Think, basically kidnapping the Sami children to boarding schools, forcing them to learn and speak Norwegian, punishing them for speaking in their native Sami language etc. Just for some historical context

Torchyc - Chloe

I prefer Frozen 2, I can rewatch it so many times. I prefer the songs and the story. You need to watch Olaf's Frozen Adventure (From 2017), it's a 21-minute Disney animated holiday special

Astoria

Is it the Christmas special? I love the song in the Christmas special

MatiX

You should watch "Cosmic Princess Kaguya". It's not a disney movie, but a really good music anime movie. HIghly recommend

Astoria

I love the little Easter eggs in films. When Elsa and Anna were playing 'enchanted forest', Elsa had a little Baymax ice sculpture from Big Hero 6 standing next to her.

HesGravity

I can also recommend a great movie to you, namely Raya and the Last Dragon or Turning Red, which I think isn't from Disney either, but you would definitely like it too.

HesGravity

It was from Sailor Moon Movie 2 or.

M3rlin

In the after credit scene, to understand why the big snow dude from the first movie has all those small friends, watch the shortfilm: frozen fever (even if its just on your own). Its really cute

Leigh-Sherri Hays

I saw this in theaters.. and cracked up out loud laughing at "When you're older" cuz.. it was funny.. im supposed to be older yet have no answers lol and Lost in the woods became my favorite song and literal personality for a very long time lol

Astoria

I'm absolutely not a fan of Idina Menzel. For me, her voice is far too old for a character who is only 21 in the first film, and I find her nasal voice extremely unpleasant. For me, the singer who sings in German-speaking countries and the Netherlands is much more suitable and beautiful.

Ashley Pearson

Yassss!!!! I love Frozen 2 just as much as Frozen 1!!! 🩵 Now we all wait for Frozen 3 next year!

PumpkinSparks

I feel like this movie has a better idea of what it is. The story of 1 was a bit more frenzied (like, you could tell that they changed their mind what the story is midway through production and left certain parts and it was kinda 2 stories in one...), where 2 was a very clear "this is the story, lets tell it" That doesn't mean 1 was bad, it just had it's issues.... And yeah, I still don't care about Olaf and would like to remove him from the franchise, but he was less obnoxious and slightly more crucial to the story in this movie, imo The one critisism I saw a lot (that I absolutely agree with) is that Elsa is heavily qeer coded and that is something that a lot of fans were quite vocal about. Like, how they felt seen in her, and how great it is to have a potentially queer disney princess/queen. And in the promo of the second movie the scene she had with the Nothuldra girl was heavily promoted. So a lot of us went into the movie anticipating her to be the love interest for Elsa. So either Disney intentionally queer baited the shit out of us, or they were too cowardly to confirm a queer disney princess and hoped the ONE scene with obvious chemistry between them would be enough to satisfy us... Yeah no!!! Either commit, or don't even hint at that route. We ain't living in the hays code anymore!!! Other than that: I adore both movies, I think this one is better (which is a rare thing for a disney sequel), but 2 wouldn't have worked without 1

Adriana Flores

The little snowmans at the end are from the frozen fever clip you should watch it too

Nyx

I really need you to watch Legally Blonde the Musical. You would love it!

Sarah Doty

As a very general rule - if there is a lot of singing in a film, they want to cast someone who can sing it versus hiring two people to fill the demands of one role.

SidekickSteph

Hey man, as a singer, I use any random object near as a microphone 😂 lay off my man Kristoff for using a pine cone 😂

SidekickSteph

Also your reaction to that song was the best part of the whole thing lol it’s such a great moment!

Emily Jewett

If you want to understand the mini snow men at the end check out frozen fever short. Also if you want a laugh weezer lost in the woods music video. Can’t wait for the wicked reactions, and yeah you will love tangled as well.

Monika Lockpick

ngl ever since watching the movie for the first time thought the should have gone that way, don’t get me wrong, i love the happy ending, but it could have been an amazing story about coming back from loosing …. well everything and life doesn’t always give us a happy ending

Harald Nassau

How to Train Your Dragon 1 - 3 are another fantastic Movies you will love.

SidekickSteph

I actually knew Kristen could sing before these movies, from the movie musical Reefer Madness 😂 it’s a creative twist on a movie made in like the 20s against pot, and she’s one of the stars in it. It’s absolutely brilliant and a different side of her you wouldn’t expect 😊

HesGravity

And to answer your question about whether there will be a third part, yes, there will. It's scheduled for release in November 2027, which means you can react to it in 2028.

Cassie Jean

Idina Menzel’s voice is amazing live, I saw her on broadway years ago

AgRoseCrystal

You need to react to Frozen Fever. It was set between the two movies and there is another about holiday traditions too.

Ashley Elliott

Turning Red is also an amazing animated film with music <3

KelinoS23_

I know it's not a Disney movie, but I would love for it to react to Sing!

Mericat

Pacing was better in the first and I think overall the score is more solid, but Show Yourself is my favorite song of the franchise and I do really love the theme and story of the second! Honestly, after watching your Frozen reaction the other day, it kind of dawned on me that K-pop Demon Hunters is to the 2020s what Frozen was to the 2010s, and that’s especially amazing considering how much both movies revolve around sisterhood!

Mericat

He’d LOVE that!

Eamber

Idina menzel was a Broadway actress before becoming a voice actress and I ADORE her as Elsa, she plays her beautifuly and I love her mature voice for her

GreyScale

The version of "Into The Unknown" at the end credits is actually sung by Panic At The Disco! (Brendon Urie)

Vilohi Vidéos

I love how the salamander jump like the cat meme

Avis Pakaya

Please react to Panic at the Disco version of Into the Unknown (the one in the end... That you skipped)

TheKnightwatchOfficial

Another musical you might want to react to eventually is "Burlesque". I watched it a few weeks ago for the second time and totally forgot how good it was. Christina Aguilera and Cher.

Mericat

Astrolabe is the thing you were thinking about for the stars!

Amy Bedster

i have not finished this yet but if you havent please listen to the panic at the disco version of into the unknown. It's in th same key as idinas and its insane

Dorran

Honestly, I really love this movie. Dodging the whole "which one is better" question, what I will say is that this one was more... directly relevant to me on a personal level when it came out. So, it hit harder _for me._ Heck, even "Lost in the Woods" was very relevant at the time, because of the way that my wife would just kind of... power off on her own thing, leaving me to pick up the pieces and make do until she powered back. But it was also as I was coming back into my own sense of agency after struggling to get my multiple sclerosis managed, so a lot of the songs spoke to that aspect of my life as well. In any event, oh well, if it isn't for everyone. It is definitely for me.

Mericat

Oh boy bro did not just commit the cardinal sin of mixing up Panic! At the Disco and Fallout Boy XD

Shadow_284

Great movie, and your reaction made me cry again, but man, this *really* is just a thinly veiled allegory for the settlers taking the natives land, isn't it. I still really enjoyed it, but it was hard not to notice that throughout the whole thing.

Midnight

annie 2014 reaction incoming trust pleaseeee lol

SidekickSteph

Yes anymore they do that, but casting 2 different people used to be very common. Most of the Disney movies he’s watched are the older ones where they’d do this.

NikoCat11

I'm kinda hater of Disney nowadays, but I LOVE frozen, specially the second one. Unfortunately, there is going to have third and fourth films, so... I'm not sure abt it. BUT you're going to watch tangled, that I live even more.

Caroline Vitanza

people who don't like Olaf just find any reason not to feel joy...being silly is one of the best things and it keeps you connected to your inner child. if people choose to dislike it because of that, that's a them problem

Holly Bembridge

You might be interested in watching the Making of Frozen II. Goes through the song writing and changes they made due to preview audience feedback. I thought it was so fascinating!

Karabis2

I love that the first draft of Frozen had Elsa as the evil queen until they wrote the song Let It Go and then they decided to completely rewrite it.

kldoss89

There is a Frozen short that is between the two movies that explain who the little snow babies were at the end. Anyways, amazing reaction! I am LOVING following your Disney journey!

Emma Floyd

As someone who has grown up with death as a constant in my life, The Next Right Thing is my favorite song out of this movie. It’s such a perfect song to walk someone through grief and how to handle it.

Emma Floyd

Also, the song in the credits is Into the Unknown by Panic! At The Disco. Please do a reaction to it! It’s in the same key as Idina’s version in the movie and it’s being sung by a male singer (Brendon Urie), and impressive as hell. Aside from that- I’m excited to see your reaction to Tangled because honestly? I love that movie more than Frozen 1 and 2. It came out before them too!

Renee McEwen

The first time I saw “the next right thing” was about a month after my older brother died and it absolutely destroyed me. I wasn’t expecting to be hit full force with my grief while watching the frozen sequel but while it was utterly heartbreaking it was also encouraging and so needed in a such a dark time for my family. This song is so special and Kristen bells emotional delivery is so devastatingly beautiful. Every time I watch it I’m reminded of my big brother and how much I miss him. 💔❤️‍🩹❄️

BrookieDreamer

Please do the special Frozen Fever, the holiday special Olaf's Frozen Adventure and Olaf Presents the mini series (only episodes of movies you have seen!) they are so fun!! <3 Also for Disney sequels I agree some really are just money grabs, however some are really great, like this one. Also The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning (the third movie) and Cinderella III: A Twist in Time are still two of my all time favourite Disney movies. And the Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea wasn't horrible.

Magical.Edwin

Now that Disney is back making great movies once again I can’t wait for frozen 3&4

Magical.Edwin

There’s 2 holidays special frozen fever and Olaf frozen adventure

Neo

Panic! At the disco. Brendon does an incredible job with it. Please react to his version of Into the Unknown!

Neo

I can't wait for Tangled! They're making the live action now and I really hope they do it justice

Sun Shim

Loved this reaction! If you want more frozen and are interested in behind the scenes. The Disney + Into the Unknown: Making Frozen 2, 6 episode series, is amazing! I would love to see you react to that and hear your opinions on how the story of this movie was created. It also includes Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell, as well as the other voice actors, if you'd like to hear their perspectives on their characters and, of course, their singing. It has a good amount of that as well.

Nikkelz

Gachi are done on saturday streams however last week & this week were skipped due to IRL scheduling conflicts. Luke will be back monday & next weekend will continue as usual.

Nikkelz

None of the seasonals have been dropped, Luke is away this week from thurs - sunday at a wedding & last week after the schedule went up he was given news he would be away on the weekend so several shows got bumped. Oshi no ko was reacted to this week as he was still here earlier on the rest will be playing catchup over the next few weeks but Luke likely still wants to finish the seasons on their finale dates so hopefully double drops next week. If you are ever unsure you can check the weekly schedule on youtube or discord or drop questions in either & we're quick to respond as patreon comments can get buried easily.

Nikkelz

Dream girls won't be until after le mis & wicked as it was last in the poll so expect around april 3rd - 4th

Amy Kat

I would love to see a reaction to the Panic at the Disco music video of Into the Unknown!

Caroline

Love your reaction. I also like the second movie better because I think the songs are so much better composed and everything looks so beautifully designed. There is actually a whole mini series on disney+ in which olaf acts out the plot of classic disney movies like lion king, ariel and also moana. (in the same style like in this movie) its helarious, you would really enjoy this.

Maria Amado

I knew you'd cry, I'd cry. Everyone would cry. Awesome reaction! I really want you to react to the Panic! At the Disco reaction. Loving these Disney movies series... We love the anime reactions but it's fun to get something different once in a while.

Kadda

YEAH! Please react to these!

Kadda

I really love rewatching these movies with you. Have you already watched Pocahontas, or is it another movie you could react to?

Godzy Lasserre

You should check the short movies they made. They happen between the 1 and 2. There’s one about Easter and one about winter, they are quite funny and the songs are amazing as well. And since they are both short sequels, you probably could do both in one go

Bria

this is helpful, thank you!!

Laurasr618

and the demi lovato version of let it go is amazing too!

Laurasr618

i dont know if anyone has told you.. but the king in hamilton plays kristoff! his name is jonathan groff and he is so versitile and talented!

Savingstumps

I have no idea whats Frozen 3 is going to be about, but bring it on.

Tico Machi

Tangled is great. I like it more than Frozen.

Japania

Please watch Wicked as well! It's really good! Loved your reaction to frozen 2. It was my first time watching it as well and i loved it!

Taelor Elverum

Kristin Bell singing next right thing was sung from a place of truth for her. In the making of, she talks about dealing with PPD and tapped into that emotion while recording it. Such a powerful song. Having struggled with it too, it feels all too real. Don’t look too far ahead and just take one breath, one step at a time

turner husak family

It's a short but you should watch frozen fever and the christmas one

Kennedy Lawrence

If you haven’t already you should watch Brave! It’s not a musical but I think you’ll thoroughly enjoy it!

dartcp

I think the most important question in the film is unfortunately left unanswered, but I'm here to ask it. Does it count as bad breath if these turtles, which breathe through their butts, fart?

Audrey Gianelli

« My life is complete » with the chorus reindeer😂😂😂 you liked me 🤣🤣🤣🤣 do you know that the actor that play Kristoff is the one playing the crazy English king in Hamilton, Jonathan Groff. And yes this guy is totally (crazy) talented🤪

Coldy Snow

I LOVE this movie. Its SO real and hits so hard - especially the whole end. In fact, I'm one of the people who love the 2nd one even more than the first one (and I loved the first one already!) However, because of the after credit scene: you need to watch "Frozen Fever" as well - its a short film, but it explains why there are so many little baby-snowmans in the end. Its great, so I recommend it to make the Frozen-journey full! ♥ (Althouth there's also a christmas Frozen short film - also very good!)

Dogsteeves

Some people just hate sequels the mini snowmen come from a Short with olaf also they already confirmed Frozen 3

Finelia Braun

I don't have PPD but BPD and a big part of for me is paranoia and anxiety so I also felt so seen through this song. It is my fave one in both movies, it is so powerful.

Finelia Braun

Anna and Rapunzel are my faves, I adore both so much, I think movie wise Frozen 2 is better than Tangled but with the series Tangled I love that franchise the most of them all by far! (Especially able to hear Jeremy Jordan sing, hhaha)

Finelia Braun

I just hope they don't give Anna powers as some theorize. It would ruin the whole point of her being amazing without them. Maybe her kids will have some?

Hridayinee

Loved watching Frozen 2 with you. I think i cried one more time than you did... but that was a lot of us crying and smiling and laughing together. This was the Best!!! Thx for the Disney films... I'm a big fan

Stacia Kilpatrick

I know it’s not as popular but I highly recommend Tick Tick Boom. Lin Manuel Miranda directed the movie adaptation of the musical. It’s my all time favorite musical.

ScandiHåndverk

You gotta watch the Into the Unknown cover by Panic! At the Disco. Reaction or otherwise, it's a must see.

Laura Hays

If someone hasn’t already suggested it, you have to go react to “Get This Right” with the storyboarding. It was cut and is a huge fan favorite.

Arista Holmes

You NEED to add Burlesque with Cher and Christina Aguilera to your poll/list of options! For powerful vocals and a brilliant storyline *chefs kiss* As for Frozen 2, I 100% love the original, so I went into Frozen 2 with typical "sequel caution" and fell head-over-heels in love all over again. Frozen 2 songs HIT harder somehow though, they touch on really powerful themes.

Jennifer Ambrose

Strong Peter Cetera energy in Lost in the Woods lol

Jennifer Ambrose

Kristoff is the best. “I’m here. What do you need?” Is the hottest thing any Disney man has ever said.

Jennifer Ambrose

Followed closely by “my love is not fragile”

Orkidaisy

Luke, have you never heard of fire salamanders? :D Anyway, I loved the reaction and I love the movie. I remember watching this in theaters and being scared that this whole mess would turn out to be big misunderstanding, and I was so relieved that it honored the real history of so many native people and actually let them be the victims. I'd love to see your reaction to the How to train your dragon -movies, if you haven't seen them already. I know they're not Disney, but that movie series is a masterclass of how to make sequels.

Jasper Lewis

It might’ve been said and I didn’t see - but I just finished your wicked reaction and if you didn’t notice Idina Mendel is in the 1st movie when they go to Oz. Her and the blonde actress (Kristin) were the originators of Elphaba and Glinda) It was a huge nod to the broadway fans

Jasper Lewis

So I saw Wicked on broadway right after they replaced the original actresses. I LOVED the woman that played Elphaba and thought (maybe) she sang better. (After only seeing videos of Idina) Then I saw another show with Idina live and I instantly understood. Her voice COMBINED with her stage presence is unmatched. She’s sooooo good

Ny & Minelys

There’s something about show yourself that fills me up with so much emotion , chokes me up and makes me cry every single time it’s so good and powerful 😩😭😭

Ashley Holste

there's also another Olaf short as well on Disney+, called "Once Upon a Snowman"; it takes place during the first movie and is following Olaf from the time Elsa created him during "Let It Go" to when he first meets Anna and Kristoff. The other two shorts are better imo, but this one's still alright. Kinda has Lion King 1 & 1/2 energy to me, so I guess YMMV depending on how much one likes that sort of humor.

Ashley Holste

I feel like he especially needs to watch Tangled so ppl can start recommending him songs from the show, especially Jeremy Jordan & Eden Espinosa's various show-stopping numbers XD

shiroyama kurosaki

Please do Oliver and company and brother bear they are underrated and have great songs!! Please!!

Emily Nye

The original Glinda was Kristin Chenowith, not Kristin Bell.

Emily Nye

I think many of the people who say they didn't enjoy this one were either unable to connect with the pain Anna feels, or were made too uncomfortable by it and aren't ready to address their own pain. You really need to also watch the Olaf shorts on D+. They are hilarious.

Cara Ferguson

SIR! I had to join the Patreon after watching the YouTube reactions and feeling left out. Since you're enjoying Idina Menzel so much, I HIGHLY recommend "Take Me Or Leave Me" from the Rent movie. She originated the role of Maureen on Broadway and played her in the movie and that song is incredible. It's also really fun to see her sing in the flesh. So to speak.

Kate

I love both of the Frozen films, but I think I do prefer this one. The lore it gives us that builds on the first is so rich and the relationship between Anna and Elsa is so utterly pure. The Northuldra song gives me goosebumps every time but Show Yourself makes me absolutely sob. And then they hit you with Next Right Thing. The entire film is simultaneously jubilant and devastating back to jubilant and the animation is glorious. If you haven't checked out Brendan Urie's Into The Unknown video yet, do it!!

Karen McCray

Watched the making of frozen 2 it’s amazing that they almost cut show yourself from the movie cause they were having trouble making it fit into the story… love both frozen 1&2

Sarah_M

💜💜💜💜

Cirqque

The Next Right Thing is such a good representstion of grief and how to live with it. Thw first verse describes exactly how I felt when I lost my mother, and taking things one step at a time is how I eventually reached the point of being mostly okay again.

Sarah Blum

Hi Luke! I have a special attachment with "The Next Right Thing" since my mom passed away unexpectedly a few days before this movie came out. So the lyrics perfectly described how I felt ♥ We didn't have a close relationship and she was sadly abusive, but I still love her since she was my mom.

Deborah Hall

ITS LIKE THEY HAD IT PLANNED 🤯😂🤪...now you Really Need to watch The Making of Frozen 2 ‼️💭

Ashley Elliott

I was WAITING for you to react to this movie solely for the ending, and the song Show Yourself! SOOO good!

Ashley Elliott

There is also gonna be a 3rd! They had a teaser for it out already!!

Pinkie_applepie

Frozen 2 is so amazing! I cried too! It was the perfect sequel! I love both frozen 1 and 2 also yes there will be a frozen 3 coming out in November 24, 2027 just recently they had a clip of it live at D23 looks like it’s gonna be amazing! great reaction
