It's very close to the manga! It had a feeeew slight changes this season, but it was more of a reordering of things, nothing that changes the plotline

Akana isn't an idol so her being in a relationship wouldn't be any danger. Especially since she rose to fame while publically dating him already.

Yeah sadly it is very close to to manga, other than conversations shuffling I did a reread and seen how close we are to the end. I love this season I really hope the Finale season does well but I don't know if we will see any season better than this one.

Sorry, unlike other anime shows, they don't have any Jojo's references in the Oshi No Ko universe 😉

Generally, if any changes to the manga were made it only improves the quality, like adding some short scenese to make stuff flow more naturally and actually make more sense or rearranging things to help the storyline. I don't think there's been a single change that hasn't elevated the story honestly

Did you seriously not understand Frill's joke? When the Boy That Cries Wolf starts shouting about how there ISN'T a wolf what do you think the village is going to think? They're going to think there actually is a wolf this time because they're so used to him lying. Except there still wasn't a wolf so they got angry again.

Ruby would seem like the obvious choice to play Ai, but Akane did once portray Ai so accurately that she gave Aqua a panic attack.

They didn't change anything from what it is in the manga. If anything, they cut content from the manga instead. From what I am seeing, I am afraid they might not go beyond chapter 120, but I wish they would go up to chapter 122 when they finish this season.

16:15 but that's exactly what Aqua DOES NOT want. He doesn't want to talk about this with Ruby anymore. By making her hate him, he pushed her away from himself and from danger while getting himself closer to his goal. Yes, he has been selfish but I don't think he's cruel: talking to her and involving her when he thinks he can get vengeance alone, that would be pretty cruel. In his mind, he need to be the only one to take this burden. So, I strongly disagree. Maybe, if Ruby knew whatever the heck is recorded in those DVDs, it could speed up the story and we could see a badass duo dealing with the crazydaddy, but it would completely betray the character of Aqua who has always been protective to a fault toward the girls around him. He stopped Akane from getting herself too close to the killer, he wants to save Ruby from the vengeance plot and he was doing his best to stay away from Kana. And yes, I gotta admit, the last part is the only one that get me a bit confused about his goals. Why did he need to get closer to Kana again? It's a bit of a contradiction compared to what we've seen in the previous episodes. I need to know more about his reasoning for that. I guess we'll see. Anyway, I really hope he doesn't get too close to any of the girls again. ESPECIALLY MEM, please protecc this wholesome lady from this harsh story.

Cool for us anime-only people, but kinda sad because one day I wanted to seriously pick up the manga... I've read the first 10ish chapters and quite liked it but stopped because I decided I didn't want to ruin myself the surprise effect and choose to stick to the animated version. When the anime is finished (probably a couple years more), should I give it another go? I've been spoiled about some stuff but not everything and I'm a bit curious to know exactly what has been cut and/or added.
