Time to clarify some things 1. Pucci didn't straight up tell perla that weather was their brother because it was a confession and some peoples beliefs don't change just because it would be convenient for them and also he didn't ant to traumatize his sister by telling her that the first person she fell in love with was their brother instead of just making them break up. 2. They both awakened their abilities at the same time when Pucci got stabbed by the arrow, like he said. this is because bloodlines in JoJo's have a very strong connection. Think back to how all the Joestars got their stands when DIO used the stand arrow on Jonathans body, or when jotaro hurt himself the same wound showed up on Jolyne, or how people with the star birthmark can sense the presence of each other. 3. I always see people get this wrong but Pucci didn't know who the people he was hiring really were. As far as he knew they were just some thugs that could threaten weather into breaking up with his sister. 4. They may be biological brothers but neither of the care about the other. Thats why pucci didn't explain anything to him. He already had the goal in mind to meet up with DIO and he couldn't leave someone hell-bent on killing him with the power to control the weather free when he could just seal him away. Also you're asking for an explanation but also would rather the ability never be explained. You are not going to be satisfied with whatever the author does to explain it.

Weather never knew he had a sister or brother till after Perla's death. It was not Wes's fault or Perla, Pucci is to blame for the whole thing and Weather got his power bc he is twins with Pucci. The rainbows are confusing, I think it will be explained next episode.

you've seen why the arrow pierced Pucci many times throughout the series. Fate is a real force in JoJo, it is like a gravity that pulls things into their proper place whether that is the comic book Thoth from part 3, stand users drawing in other stand users, the arrow randomly being pulled into Kira's neck in part 4, or the bullets not hitting Mista in his backstory.

The arrows have their own will to an extent they will be drawn to and will cut anyone that can awaken in some cases, a deep and powerful emotion can make the entire thing even more likely and extreme, so why was Wes pierced as well ? Because they are twins and thus are connected on not just a biological level but also a spiritual one according to some beliefs. A stand arrow can effect entire bloodlines, but in some situations like Jolyne, even though her bloodline and spiritual connection is there, she did not awaken naturally, but she had the potential so the arrow would likely not have killed her, which I assume Jotaro expected when he sent her a piece of one.

To be fair I would blame the woman who changed the babies (well, and obviously I blame the KKK too). Pucci had no idea about anything until Perla and Weather were already dating, and once he knew, he was in a really awkward place. I don't really blame Pucci for anything that happened until Perla's death.

Pucci was keeping the arrow on his person and when the "the moment was right" and Pucci reached a breaking point the arrow "chose" him and the magnetic pull of fate between Pucci and the arrow made it pierce him.

In regards to Wes being affected by the arrow without being struck. If you think about it, way back, Jotaro awakened a stand without being struck by the arrow. That was because Dio controlling Jonathans body pierced himself with an arrow and due to it being Jonathans body his whole bloodline was affected by this, "piercing" them too. Over here with Pucci and Wes we are seeing the same psychic/blood link taking effect.

Luke, that is why Jojo's has that 1 word in the title called bizzarre. Cause it is bizzarre not only with the stands and their weird stand users but cause of its entirety (whole storytelling, etc...)

Pucci definitely should have taken Weather's stand away too I think Maybe he didn't know about that part of his ability at that point, but surely he had access to him in the jail

nah luke im sorry, this was one of the best backstories ever in part 6 and you really tried too hard finding logic into it ruining the moment. this was well written, pucci never telling his sister isnt unrealistic. he was still young and made a bad choice, your the best but you really slept on this one it was the best

ik it doesn't really matter anymore since your already done with part 6, but I think you got too used to the show explaining why someone can suddenly gain a new ability haha, star platinum was just a strong stand with high speed and precision, but he suddenly just gained time stop matching Dio, sometimes stands can just do have abilities you didn't realize they had i guess haha
