luke they have been mentioning the new moon for about 10 episodes so far i think and have said it multiple times in every single one of those episodes. the snail stuff was in a smaller vicinity i guess, so it may not have reached the space center, but the thing with the drawings idk since the whole world was affected.

A new moon is just a phase of the moon. It's where none of the moon is visible, basically like the opposite of a full moon. Jolyne and the rest of the crew all got turned back to normal after Weather Report died, so it can be assumed that everyone else did as well.

Luke...first Naruto and now this, I concerned you don't know what moon phases are. the moon waxes and wanes over the course of a month and the phases are called a full moon, gibbous, half moon, crescent, and new moon. they all have different gravitational effects on the earth like tides and pucci needs the gravitational pull of a new moon at an exact location to reach heaven.

A new moon is just a different phase of the moon, like a half moon or a Cresent. New moon is opposite of a full moon.

I'll write this next episode as well, but weather report was drawing a character so the Stand of Ungalo and its effect would just go back. ALL DEATHS, and memories of events from what happened reversed like nothing ever happened (in regards to the pinocchio stand) Weather's report ability of "snails" was an area of effect around him. People who got touched by snails got back like nothing happened as it was a stand effect and not a natural phenomenon. Of course they don't remember it as they weren't able to see the snails, for them it felt like the world was melting but it is an inexplicable phenomenon but it happened only in that city and not the entire world. The reason priest said it end the world is cuz the phenomenon is growing as they speak so in a few years it would affect the entire world. Same for priest's gravitational ability. only affect that area not the entire world.

That is the "reverse" effect and you would fly sideways , the centrifugal force stops suddenly so everything just fly but the gravitation keeps you in so you fly sideways. In the scenario if you remove gravity what would happen, you just go out in the space. Put a piece of water in an object and then start spinning it fast, what does the water do, stick to the object or fly outward. Planet rotate 1000+ mph so you would fly out fast in the space. As water stick to the object spinning, we stick to the planet spinninng. In this case gravity holds us down and in case of water it's molecular attraction that keeps it sticky to the surface, either way both are similar.
