its kinda important to know who the lady at the end is and you have enough info to piece it together. Go back to the start of the episode and watch ruby's flashback again and pay attention to the names, then watch the after credit scene again

Can't blame you for not connecting the dots, but as someone that knew what was coming, it was kind of funny watching you be blindsided, since with context this episode very clearly set up that reveal. Pretty sure I know where next week is ending, and it'll be a good episode!

13:56 Luke, my man, have you been blind and deaf for the last 2 and a half seasons? Aqua has ALWAYS been extremely focused on the revenge. The intensity of his response may be a bit surprising to the viewer just because it's the first time a character we care about is getting directly in the way of his revenge. I was also taken aback for a moment, but if you think about for a few seconds, this is totally coherent with Aqua's character. Now, I don't mean to say that he'll hurt her in order to get his revenge (though, sadly, I wouldn't completely exclude it), but getting angry after her "declaration of war" against his revenge plan? pretty much to be expected. And Akane's will to save him means nothing now, he explicitly refused it in the breakup scene a few episodes back so she may mean well but she's knowingly getting herself into the way of a suicidal/homicidal man's revenge, it's kinda foreseeable for something bad to happen. And don't get me wrong, I love her for still trying, but she's about to jump into a burning fire and she knows it really well. I'm way more perplexed by his attitude toward Kana. He's done a pretty good job in burning every bridge around him in order to not burn too many people in the big finale. So, yeah, why the hell he's keeping Kana around? Is she a key to his plan? If so, how? From his character I could expect and even "accept" something that involves her partially in his plan, but getting her in actual danger? That would absolutely surprise me and would be pretty disappointing. Not even as a "oh, he's a bad guy, I'm mad now", no, I just think it would be a sudden and unwarranted change in his character and it would be some pretty shallow writing. Right now for me the show is a solid 8, maybe more, but if the main character has a sudden change in character, there need to be a pretty fucking good reason, and at the moment I didn't see that big reason. Maybe the "burning all the bridges" itself, but doesn't feel like a good enough reason. Anyway, funny that you say Aqua to chill while you're the one jumping and screaming at the camera, eheh

You needed a notebook and wrote down all the names to remember who this person is related to. Can't blame you for not remembering, but one of the main characters has the same last name as this character. But then again, there is a visual clue within this episode to identify who this person is. And also the name appears within this episode, so you can throw out the excuse of not noting down all the names out of the window. You just weren't paying attention to all the names. If we go back and watch the episode again, you will easily recognize who this person is. I wish they would make the next episode 1 hour long, just as the first episode of the show.
