If you cannot criticize your favourite anime, that just means you aren't a true fan. To be a fan means to love it despite its flaws. We love Jojo's not because it's perfect (because it isn't), we love it because it manages to be so damn peak and amazing even though it has some mid ass moments.

sometimes there are things you forget that do make sense so it gets frustrating when you say it doesnt but its just that, i love your reaction to jojo, and i will admit that in the mid of part 6 is very weak but start and end are very peak. part 6 is my favorite but im glad your still enjoying jojo. your the best jojo reactor because you make it more entertaining keep it up Luke.

she constantly has to keep the mobius strip running or she will get damaged but if she has 2 she can use these forces to negate the damage by canceling out the energy from each punch with each other but the one on the heart has to be kept ruinning im pretty sure

Damn I thought you were seriously going to stop Jojos. I completely agree with you that part 6 is not that good as the other ones (manga was decent but the adaptation made it worse). Part 7 however is considered the best part by the majority of the community, so unless they completely screw up your in for a treat.

No word on EP 2 of Steel Ball run, I assume we will receive the full release schedule tomorrow whether it's batches or weekly though I don't see why they would only release ep 1 if they were planning a batch release so I assume imthey are just waiting to sync the announcement with whatever JP TV network is running it.

i think it would be better if he would do it like this, or he could do ep36 tomorow, ep37 friday and ep 38 saturday. Part 7 ep1 monday and if they release other eps weekly then he would release ep 2 reaction in thursday next week. This would be best option not only for us but for him too. But we will surely be fine with this releasing schedule too.

I appreciate and enjoy your reactions, but I do think there is some credit in what the "haters" are saying, to an extent. It's natural to miss things on the first watch of something, ESPECIALLY when you're making content out of it. There's also a level of "reactionary" performance when it comes to this sort of content creation, which inadvertently might taint the reactors critical lense. For example: even if it's just a bit, getting hyped up over a scene (positively or negatively) is going to spike your brain chemicals in one way or another, and lead your reasoning down a certain path. As for Code Geass, even as a Sub purist, I still kind of wished you'd watched the Dub. Idk if it was your brand of reacting, the comments, or both, but you ended up missing quite a bit of nuance in the characters and misunderstanding their motivations or even what information some characters might have, which lead to some truly frustrating moments. I feel the dub would have made things much clearer and easier for you. I don't really blame you, you're here to share your experience and entertain, not become an expert on every piece of media you consume.

Yea no, part 6 is kinda weak in the middle. Part 1 is my least favorite part cause it’s just kinda meh. Part 6 better for me cause it has higher highs, but definitely lower lows.

The mobius strip is still the best counter in anime for me. Because it's both really smart and works in the rules of the stand without feeling cheap, and it also feels really on brand for mister Hirohiko "fun fact" Araki .

Love the reactions Luke! I hope the hate that you got on YT isn't getting to you.... because your reactions are the best! Love hearing your opinions! Did wanna mention that, this episode had a huge plot hole that I personally didn't like. When Jotaro stopped time to save Jolyne, he also punched Pucci. But he didn't kill him or impale him or actually kill Pucci, just one unguarded punch in the face. Huge plot hole since Jotaro in character, would've killed Pucci since Pucci is shown to be as dangerous as DIO, as well as Pucci knows the secrets that DIO knew for his plan. Jotaro was only serious and willing to kill against DIO, and Pucci, being his right hand man and attempting to fulfill what DIO was trying to fulfill, Jotaro in character, would've killed Pucci there. Jojo's is filled with minor plot holes and such, but this one was reallyyyy big and I personally just didn't like it. But Im loving the reactions, and super excited for Part 7!!! I hear that it's the best Jojo's part, so I'm hoping to see peak!

Luke, I love you but I'll be honest - some of your criticisms WERE genuinely silly XD In earlier parts you were willing to suspend disbelief and fill in gaps when something didn't immediately make sense. But in part 6, even the smallest inconsistency or slightly unclear explanation immediately turns into "this makes no sense" or "it's stupid" It feels like you’ve already decided part 6 makes no sense, so every minor issue just reinforces that, turning your reactions into a feedback loop: Luke misunderstands something -> Luke decides that because it's part 6, it must be the anime's fault -> Luke spends time complaining instead of paying attention -> Luke misunderstands something... It definitely doesn't seem like you're not enjoying it - when cool moments happen you are genuinely hyped about them and the reactions are still enjoyable - but it does kinda feel unfair I will also say - it seems like you've "mellowed out" and you seem to be treating this episode much fairer than the previous ones

I think there's a reason Part 6 is less liked than other parts. There is just a lot of 'what...?' moments, even if it is 'logically' explained in JoJo terms. Its completely fair for Luke to talk about it imo.

I consider part 6 by far the worst. Half the episodes there's no danger because they can just heal themselves. Afterwards some fights are interesting but most of them are beyond BS even for Jojo standard, especially how it's solved. Overall it is quite weak, don't feel bad about criticizing it. It's not as good as the previous ones.

yeah i agree with part 1 and 6 being the weakest. they're the only seasons i've had trouble finishing and had to take multiple breaks while watching. (as you can see from me commenting on this 3 months after it's released) it's possible that it's because part 1 i was getting used to how jojo is, and had to wait a while for part 6 to release, but i dunno. i can definitely see how part 1 is slower, and part 6 has a lot of parts where it doesn't really make sense (like yes it's jojo it's bizarre but the fact that it still stood out i think is pretty telling) and really dragged on. i always find myself internally screaming at them to get on with it already within the fight when it's supposed to be high stakes. i still like jojo as a whole, and both part 1 and part 6 have some really cool moments, but they also have some really weak moments too, whereas other seasons don't have those really weak moments that really stood out to me.
