I can’t believe it’s the end of jojo… for now!!! Steel ball run better hurry the hell up with its release cuz I can’t wait for more

Nero1999

Thank you for this journey Luke (even though we still got SBR). Ive been watching since your first Jojo and Im always loving your reactions. Keep up the great work!!!

Karma

Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan? >.>

I can't believe this series is over, it had become a part of my week, but part 7 is coming up next! To avoid confusion, I must make this clear. Part 7 has nothing to do with the story in the previous parts, it's a completely different story, but there are similarities, like a parallel universe. Part 7 has nothing to do with the universe reset, the ending of Part 6. This is a completely different jojo story set in 1890. What makes this part very special is that Araki (Jojo's mangaka) takes his experience from the 6 parts you have watched over the years and creates a masterpiece. I'm not exaggerating to you, Steel Ball Run (part 7) is the best work of fiction I've ever seen in my life, the best story ever told, and of course my favorite Jojo part. I can't wait for your reaction, even for the trailers. There will be such episodes in the story that you will go crazy. I can't wait to see your reaction, this bizarre adventure is not over yet, it's just beginning, there is still part 7,8 and part 9 with the manga coming out. I can't wait to see you watch jojo again for years to come. This 6 part was a really nice journey. Every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evening, I watched your reactions. Thank you, Luke, for brightening up my days and see you when Steel Ball Run episode 2 comes out!

Barack O. Llama

WOOOOO peak jolyne finale time. this is my absolute favourite ending to an anime. so peak and the end makes me cry every time.

Barack O. Llama

don't worry, its supposed to be confusing, here's the whole thing summed up simply: this is THE original universe, the events of parts 1-5 all happened and are unchanged, its just pucchi's existence has been removed so part 6 didn't occur. so the main cast are all different people as to make up for pucchi's lack of existence and now the jostars are now free from their curse of dio now that dio and pucchi are no more. A very sad and bitter sweet ending because our part 6 characters are not the ones we know and love, just copies and emporio is the only one who will know what happened and can never tell anyone. part 7 does not take place in this universe btw. ALSO my absolute favourite piece of foreshadowing that occurred last episode, remember oingo and boingo in part 3> the little brother had the manga book that could predict the future and it said jotaro would die. now everyone ignored it because the prediction was actually boingo's brother that died after turning into jotaro, but when you look back it showed jotaro dying by getting his face sliced in half. absolute peak

DrA

The bible's depiction of heaven is the universe remade, heaven combined with earth. Somewhat similar to Made in Heaven's ability in a way.

Karma

Good call on the Oxygen poisoning!

Roli D. Great

Agree. One of the best Openings in Jojo's.

виина

Finally MHA next Sorry, not a fan of jojo. Don't know about the story, just didn't like the animation style 😅

Brynden

Stone Ocean is my fav part and yeah, I would say the best parts are the beginning and the end. The rest is pretty good too (basically all Jojo's is good at least) but I don't love it as much.

Kitsune

It's sad this is the end of this universe, all of Joestar's accursed enemies are all gone and who knows what becomes of their stands and the speedwagon in the future...

Zaki Alkabli

U got it exactly right! Its the same universe but pucci never existed!!

ZabluLobsta

Give it a opportunity, it's awesome, thanks for not hating tho

egkuaz

33:33 You explained everything correctly here. None of it happened because Pucci wasn't there, but the characters' spirits are still the same.

Kosaki

"enjoy part 7 weekly i guess" what a sad statement for current situation

Barack O. Llama

well you're gonna have to wait until september lmao

Roli D. Great

Luke, imagine F.F. being the rain too 🙂

виина

I saw like first 2 eps and then just stopped watching 😅 maybe someday by watching Luke's reaction

Because Pucci halted the universal cycle before the Cape Canaveral events could fully transpire, the world entered a suspended state. When Pucci is killed within this incomplete timeline, he is effectively deleted from existence; according to the rules of Made in Heaven, those who die before the cycle completes do not carry over to the next world. Since Pucci never existed in this final universe, his causal influence is erased. Consequently, he never killed the Joestar gang, allowing their original souls to be reborn into this new world. Irene is still Jolyne's original soul, but her new name symbolizes her freedom from the 'JoJo' fate, while her star birthmark confirms her lineage. For everyone except Emporio, the events of Part 6 never happened, though the history of Parts 1 through 5 remains fully canon.

Golden Witch Beatrice

While there overall I part 6 isn’t my favorite but by the gods is the ending the absolute best of every part so far(I haven’t read the manga so idk 7-9)! My rankings of each part is easily: 4 > 3 > 6 > 5 = 2 > 1

Anderson Velasquez

Nah this is the most invalid take to not watch Jojo, the animation is amazing in Jojo and the art style is too, but hey people miss out on peak

Jacowab

Yeah, the main cast was fated to fight Pucci and for heir whole lives they got pulled to that fate, fate manipulated tiny details and forced a butterfly effect that caused them to live hardened lives that landed them in prison all so they would be in the right place and mindset to fulfill their fate and fight Pucci. But when Emporio killed Pucci early he changed fate and became Made in Heaven had not finished yet the universe rewrote itself one final time showing that without fate pulling them to the final battle with Pucci they got to experience good lives and the only fate left for them to follow is meeting each other and falling in love. Joleyn is no longer bound by the fate of the Jostars, she is no longer a JoJo and this is where the story ends, as you've already seen Part 7 begins a new story where Araki takes all the knowledge he gained from 1-6 and creates a new series with no limitations set by the previous continuity.

Kindyh Bordat

Well... Wtf ? What was that ending, i didn't understand anything at all. I think the death of Pucci caused a Universe reset, and fate rewarded Emporio by returning all the dead crew souls, but this time they all have a better life without fight since Pucci and Dio (probably) never existed in this universe (Because Pucci as Dio bone inside him) Also the reason she isn't a Jojo anymore is because it's most likely the name fate gave to people who fight people who try to control faith, and since they don't fight anymore, they are free of that duty.

Nate Ming

I feel this, too--even my least-favorite JoJo stuff is still better than a lot of other stuff

Karma

Luke, thank you for joining us on this Bizarre Adventure!

Yaros

lmao

Grey4953

bro said weekly part 7 😭 who's gonna tell him?

Karma

You're right. However they aren't exactly copies as much as the same souls that never had to live through the events and fate of Pt6.

Anderson Velasquez

Basically every future Joestar in the new universe will live a happy and peaceful life. Dio was actually killed in part 3 but he never met anyone to influence his plan about heaven so everything that happened in part 3 ended in part 3, no other villain exists in the new universe to avenge Dio. Jotaro and all other Joestars have different names. For example Irene, because they are freed from the josetar curse or Dios curse. Which either but basically jotaro can live peacefully after P3 and P4 and actually become a father so jolyne grew up with jotaro everyone is living a happy life now. Thats what happened, Dio is gone and his influence is also gone since Pucci doesn't exist in part 6 anymore,

Snsy

You were actually spot on with the ending! Although I think it's technically still a new universe, everyone's souls from the original universe returned and parts 1-5 still happened like they did before, but Pucci is no longer part of the universe and everyone in part 6 got to live better lives (except for Foo Fighters who probably doesn't exist because they were created by Pucci?) Part 7 and onward takes place in its own continuity and isn't connected to the universe reset of part 6. The Rohan spin-offs still take place in the original continuity though (I hope you are still planning to react to those as well.)

Magic Fibre

You got it exactly right - we're back in the original universe and parts 1-5 happened exactly like they did before (although Jotaro might not be Jotaro anymore). Part 6 didn't happen because Pucci never existed. Everyone who died in part 6 has reincarnated - they're different people and they don't have stands, but their souls are the same. Jolyne's name being Irene is to symbolise that she's no longer cursed with the Joestar fate of always fighting vampires and/or stand users.

Barack O. Llama

mines sort of similar apart from 4 and 5. part 6 is definitely one of the weaker parts but yeah the final arc of part 6 is the best in all of jojos: 5 >> 3 > 4 > 6 >= 2 > 1

Barack O. Llama

definitely jojos is the best looking anime of all time. always a weird argument when it has by FAR the best art style of all time

виина

I didn't call the series a trash or anything I just said that I didn't watch it because of the art style (the very first episodes). Who knows, maybe I will watch it someday and I will love the story Everyone has their likes and dislikes so chill

NoBitt

As far as I'm aware, the act of killing Pucci, the person responsible for resetting the universe WHILE the world is resetting, creates a paradox that leads to the original world and souls being restored but without Pucci existing. This means parts 1-5 all happen without issue since Pucci wasn't involved in them. However, he isn't alive to carry on Dio's will in part 6. This means another Jojo is not needed, hence why Jotaro's daughter is named Irene. The Joestar family can now live in peace. (Also funky 2nd universe Jotaro is called Qtaro by the fans as a joke and the headcanon is that he somehow also defeated Dio but without star platinum)

DecoyBlackMage

And with that the curse that Dio started on the Joestar family, that he was both adopted into and forced himself into blood wise by taking Jonathan's body, has fully and finally ended. WIthout Pucci, Jotaro probably never left his wife and Jolyne (( to keep them safe, but still he did not exactly explain anything, cause Jotaro has flaws of his own )) and had a good relationship with both probably. Perhaps even the sons of Dio ended up having better lives, just because the gravity of Pucci no longer drew them towards him as well, but we have no way of knowing.

DecoyBlackMage

So there was a bit of confusion when part 7 came out if it was set in the new timeline created here, but nope, completely seperate universe, Araki wanted part 6 to really be the ending of the series he began with part 1 story wise and for 7 to not be constrained by it, it even first published as just Steel Ball run until it moved to a monthly publication with an older demographic, but Araki has made it clear that it was always part 7 from the second he began working up the plans for it. He actually has had to say it in interviews for quite some time, and even now quite a lot of people think it is connected to the ending of part 6, which was never his intention. Considering how often he has had to make this clear it could be bothering him sadly, but yeah.

Frentzy

Everyone is still alive (current characters have same soul tho), and all events happened part 1-5. Part 6 is different cuz pucci in this universe was erased from all universes pretty much. Fate has changed. JOESTAR bloodline does still exists, but her fate was never influenced by pucci's existence which is why she is named Irene, as a representation that the Joestar Fate Saga is over.. PART 7 is a new universe. unrelated to anything of part 1-6. You can recommend part 7 to anyone who didn't saw part 1-6.

Frentzy

March 28, 2026, from 5:50 PM to 6:25 PM JST AnimeJapan , is when it'll be released extra info about part 7 release schedule.

Frentzy

I will copy paste my comment here since u asked: "Everyone is still alive (current characters have same soul tho), and all events happened part 1-5. beautiful idea but F.F was created because Pucci and white snake... The pucci in the IreneVerse never met Dio so he never awakened a stand, This also means weather report also didn't had a stand either. Because joeline never went in the prison jotaro NEVER gave her the arrow so she never awakened stone ocean, because the arrow wasn't in the prison this also meant that Ermes didn't awaken her stand either. Anastasia (anasui) is a natural stand user so he is the only one there, everyone else is non-stand user at the end of part 6 and they are living a happy life.

Frentzy

Extra info on part 6 characters: F.F. only existed because of Enrico Pucci and Whitesnake. In the Ireneverse, Pucci never met DIO cuz he doesn't exists at all, so he never awakened a Stand. As a result, Weather Report also never gained his abilities. Since Jolyne Cujoh was never sent to prison, Jotaro Kujo never had a reason to give her the Stand Arrow, meaning she never awakened Stone Free. Without the Arrow in the prison, Ermes Costello also remained a non-Stand user. Narciso Anasui is naturally a Stand user, so he’s the only one who still has his abilities. Everyone else lives as normal people, which ultimately leads to a much happier ending for them all.

J K

I don't know if it's the same universe, but I believe that Jolyne became Irene, and Dio became Diego in 1890☺️

Dusky

he's not ready for *insert popular manga that ended this week*

Frentzy

Yo, if you dropped JoJo early, that’s fair. I have a proposal tho. Try Steel Ball Run (Part 7) it’s basically a reboot, completely separate from Parts 1–6. You don’t need any prior knowledge. The style, story, and vibe are totally different way closer to a modern anime than early JoJo. Just watch the first episode. If you don’t like it, then yeah, JoJo's new animation style isn't for you as even the old style wasn't for you. But To me part 7 seems like a new anime called CowBoy the anime rather than part 7. You can ignore what I am saying but it is the first jojo that ever made it on myanimelist with a score of over 9+ and is currently ranked 2 at 9.20/10 on myanimelist. All I am saying is that, it is obviously something 'changed' and it is not just "JoJo" so I basically ask you to watch part 7 episode 1, not as giving a chance to JoJo, but as giving a chance to a new anime that decided to "tie" its name to JoJo when in reality, part 7 shouldn't be called JoJo but something else. All characters and story are unrelated to season 1-6 and the animation is better than season 1-6. That's all I propose, 1 episode. If you don't like cowboys then I guess... I wasted your time sry XD... I only wanted you to see and compare animation style of part 1 and part 7, that's all. Since it's unrelated story wise with season 1-6, season 7 is a new anime with new plot new character new style new everything. new anime basically.

Exxyo

You got it incredibly right, unlike some other comments somehow. Yes, we end on the original timeline, but because Pucci doesn't exists anymore, some things are a tiny bit different, like the names, and of course they never met Emporio in that timeline without Pucchi. It's literally what part 6 would have looked like without a villain, so yes, the ending to the Joestar VS Dio saga.

Exxyo

No they are not, the OG are alive again because Pucchi being out of existance makes a paradox that would return everyone to life, the Joeastar bloodline is not gone, stop yapping misinformation around. And no, you cannot recommend part 7 without watching part 1-6 because you would miss on so much shit.

Touhou RS

The ending to part 6 is entirely unrelated to part 7 being a clean slate.

J K

There’s an interview where he says, “第6部のラストで一巡した宇宙の続きのような、そうでないような…” so I think it’s best left up to the reader to decide.

bryanPSX

"Original" timeline without Pucci, you were smarter than me to figure out what happened at the end at first glance xd

Roli D. Great

I am saying it metaphorically. Hence the 'imagine' word I put.

Wakuza

yeah from what i heard this is the third timeline where Pucci no longer exist because Emporio kill him in the second timeline so the universe resets again but we can all agree Emporio was the goat also this is the only part where a Jojo didn't beat the main villain but a Jobro did

alexis rubio

More than a year watching jojo's with you, thank for the reactions, what a journey!

G30KK

is mha coming next week?

nik

Luke you're so smart! Yes! We reverted to the "original timeline" although it's better to say a 3rd timeline, considering part 6 never existed in this universe, since Pucci never existed! The reason Jolyne is called Irene now, is because she's no longer a JoJo. And my personal theory for why the other part 6 characters had different names, is most likely because anyone who was (solely) a part 6 character, would have their names slightly changed (so not including Jotaro). Part 1-5 happened canonically, while Part 6 has essentially, never existed! Since this is never explained, Part 7 and beyond, is NOT in the same universe as Parts 1-6. It's a completely new REBOOT. I'm not sure why Araki (JJBA Author) decided to do this. I guess he wanted a fresh, new start or something. But yeah, it's a reboot. Part 7 and beyond are all connected though, in another Reboot universe.

Rem is best waifu

Thanks for watching over a year of JoJo with us Luke. I hope you enjoy Part 7 whenever more comes out and if you have time check out Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan.

Zackary Romblad

Hey Luke, nice job reacting to this monster of a show. Hopefully we get a new SBR sooner rather than later, but hard to tell with Netflix fuckery. A cool part about the villain for this part is ultimately, it's unclear why he did all of this, but end goals, even noble or ignoble ones, are dwarfed by what Pucci had to do to further his plans. Even if you accept what he says when he's at the end and his face is getting pounded by Weather Report, even if he has some kind of noble end to all this hell he put the world through, he remains as WR put it, "the worst kind of evil, one that does not know it is evil." Pucci went to all this trouble for the ends because they justify the heartache HE personally went through in the backstory with Weather. But in the end, he is not destined for greatness, as by a trick of fate he was defeated, when it seemed he had full control over the fate and destiny of "all of humanity," a genius child defeated him. If that's not all of the Jojo stories wrapped into one and poignantly ended, idk what else could be written or done by Araki's glorious saga (besides peak part 7). Thanks again for the pleasure of watching someone see it truly for the first time and giving their honest reaction to it.

Next Saturday

Bryan Ross

Not sure how the name thing worked, if Pucci was gone, that doesn't seem like it would affect things like what Jotaro named his kid

Hiruman

My only question is.... Did Giorno affected by Made in Heaven, or GER automatically protected him

Shadow_284

Ngl, I figured Luke would be more excited about "Irene" and "Anakiss" getting together. That was all he wanted from the season after all. 😛 But he was too confused in the moment to fully appreciate it.

nik

It's a meta thing. She's no longer a JoJo because she doesn't have anything to do against the forces of evil.

Barack O. Llama

no? we know its a completely different universe

J K

Yeah you're right. I didn't expect that kind of reaction to my first comment, so I guess I didn't explain myself well enough. I don't know how it's expressed in other languages, but considering the author's comments in Japanese, while it's definitely a “different universe,” I thought it was too ambiguous to describe it as “completely” different. So, how should I put it... it's kind of like my own wishful thinking.

Abdulmenam7

HERE I AM after start watching you since june 2025 with jojo in youtube the i swiched to here now here i am finishing the part6 i didnt except in the journy in the end of it there is well be a new part anyway cant wait for new anime journy maybe what about checking one piece the live action before the anime your choice at the end and i well watch both so cant wait

Ben

Luke should definitely watch Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan now that he's done

Lacirev

@BryanRoss It's more of a fate thing. People in the Joestar family with the nickname JoJo (or GioGio, or how Josuke's name can be read in a specific way) are fated to go on a journey and fight against an evil. Jolyne being named Irene is a reflection of her new fate in this universe where she no longer has to fight Pucci.

nik

Essentially what I said. It's a meta thing. There's no logical/realistic reasoning on why her name is changed. It's a meta thing.

Gabriel Macedo

I'm late And people probably already explained it But if not, here's a sum of Pucci's objective Get a stand that can accelerate time > accelerate it until universe resets while keeping most people's souls alive > have this people now live in a new universe after having "watched"/experienced the previous one. Which means everyone can recall their futures. No, time will not accelerate again on cape canaveral in this universe. Because Pucci is the only one that can change fate on this new universe(as a part of his ability). So he will simply not accelerate it and let the rest of universe's lifetime continue at normal speed. In Pucci's mind, this will make people accept the suffering their fated to live through and achieve peace with it. To prepare mentally to what's to come. But, for that. Made in heaven has to go full circle. From cape canaveral 2011 to cape canaveral 2011 v2. Only then the ability will be completed. And the reset will be set in stone. To aquire a stand with such an specially ability. Dio made a plan. A "hack" to choose his stand ability. He needs a stand that controls gravity. Which is the force that controls time. Pucci adquired that by fusing with the green baby. Who was Dio's soul revived(the same soul that produced the world. A time bending stand) making Pucci suitable of also having a time/gravity related stand. Then, he went to cape canaveral under the new moon. This specific situation has gravity at an extreme low here on earth. Pucci than will use his gravity/time manipulative stand to "forge" a stand that can bend time on the specific way they needed. But Pucci failed. Emporio killed him before his stand had completed the ability. So universe undid everything. But, since he was killed "in between". Universe didn't include him. Which unmade everything he had ever done. So this new and final universe is basically the same as the first one but without pucci. So Jolyne, anasui, ermes and all the crew never got on all those dire situations. They had normal lives. Everything that happened on the other parts still there tho. All the characters we knew and loved exist in this new universe and all had the same adventures with only small changes.

juan cao

May be a butterfly effect thing. Jotaro was born in 1970, while Pucci was born in 1972. It could be that the only things that changed were everything that happened after Pucci was born, and changed more the more time it passed. Then again, that would mean than Josuke and Giorno's stories would have changed too, which doesn't really fit. It could fit if the changes are based on the year Pucci got his stand ( I think it was after Josuke and Giorno were born) but can't really justify why.

nik

i don't think Pucci's existence would change stuff in part 4 or part 5. Especially cuz they live in other parts of the country, and part 3 still exists.
