The elephant of course has a weight, but when Megumi isn't using it, it doesn't add weight onto Megumi, if that was the case, Megumi would constantly be crushed by the weigh of all his Shikigamis combined.

Yuta isn't as strong as Gojo. He just has unusual abilities like Gojo. Gojo has the 6 eyes and limitless, an unfair combination. Yuta has Rika, more cursed energy than Gojo and is a prodigy in learning. (he defeated Geto in his first year) Takaba is capable of fighting Gojo. He can literally manipulate reality. If he thought it would be funny for gojo to be a twist villain in cahoots with kenjaku, Gojo would start killing every one. If he thought it would be funny for Gojo to have a heart attack, he would.
