I NEVER CLICKED SO FAST 😂😂 4:44 can be done randomly because I want Black Is King video album.

Amor

FLEW to this, been waiting! God bless you bro

MykeYonce

omg i’m so happy to see we’re getting EIL but you were 100% supposed to do 4:44 by Jay Z before this lol 😭 the order of the trilogy is Lemonade > 4:44 > EIL

Emonty

HI GUYS, but yes Beyonce can rap she’s credited for “creating” a whole flow

gabby 🦋

yayyy, if BLack is King is next we’re getting so close to renaissance! imo 4:44 is a Jay album even tho they’re married & relevant to Lemonade that can be done after CC or if you do a separate Jay journey. there’s sooo much with her if you did every last thing we’d take forever to get anywhere lol

Edmina Liutkė

I am sooooo freaking excited for this one!

Angivens86

I think you should do them in the order they came to understand the story clearly.

Rele M

I wonder if 4:44 is the best intro to Jay-Z as an artist, since Luke has been deliberating starting a Jay Z dive... It's definitely a key part of the The Carters marriage Albums but I wonder if he didn't do it because he's still thinking of starting the Jay Z journey 🤷🏾‍♀️

Ced

You can do 4:44 for a jay reaction video but we need black is king for Beyoncé next lol 👀

m

yayyy

Teetee Scott

Yayyyyy I know people said 4:44 next but I’m so sorry I need black is king before 4:44

nadav

you during summer: is the whole album gonna be like this? me: oh he's gonna be GAGGED

Bey Brown

WHEW. 😮‍💨I was getting a lil Beyhydrated since we didn’t get new uploads. Thank goodness you’re back for my Beyonce Thursdays. ❤️‍🩹

My’kel J

Well I mean since you went ahead and skipped 4:44 .. you can just keep it for the Jay z reactions .. and get to black is king next .. that makes sense 👏🏽🙌🏽😊❤️

My’kel J

GWWOOORRRLLL I KNOOOOOOOOWWWW.. I was so excited when I realized he was done with homecoming lol 😂

T

I feel like we are all in the same page on Patreon but He’s listening to YT comments 🤷🏽‍♀️ idk i wish we had a group chat so we can be on one accord

Ni Ni

Oh yeah… Beyoncé is my 2nd favorite rapper 😂

Amor

when she said “would’ve put lemonade up on spotify” referring to “Lemonade” only being available on tidal since its release until she put it on other platforms three years later

Bey Brown

Lemonade April 2016 444 June 2017 Everything is Love June 2018

One Blacque Gyrl

AGREED!!!!!!! Yes he should hear it but it’s not a Bey journey and it can be done at any time

Elliott Crowe

Beyoncé is my favorite rapper. Anyone else so excited for a 🍝 reaction?

My’kel J

Lemonade 2016 4:44 2017 Everything Is Love 2018 And yes the entire apeshit video was shot in the louvre & all over Paris .. the first and only artists to shoot a music video there

gabby 🦋

especially if she drops act 3 this year he’d atleast be caught up

My’kel J

17:45 … fun fact .. Jay z did indeed say no to performing at the superbowl .. aaaand now he runs it 😂😂🤣😂🤣 “You need me I don’t need you”

Ruben

Yes!!! This album is so underrated 🥹🥹🥹 I love it!

Delisha_Renee

Every time I hear the song I picture Luke going wide eyed in awe haha

Ruben

Completely agree!!

My’kel J

Back in the day there was a viral question on whether you’d have dinner with jayz or take a million dollars or something like that .. a lot of people were choosing the money so I think it’s just a reference to that like him basically saying you’d be stupid to take the money when you could just do business with me and build that way which would earn you well more than a million dollars

Ivannia Contreras

I see you met my two favorite rappers! ❤️‍🔥

Brit

Agree!

Bey Brown

Boss- Jay is saying people refuse to work WITH him for whatever reason, instead they choose to work FOR the man pretending they are the Boss. An example would be Tidal. He got a few artist (Beyonce, Madonna, Rihanna, Minaj, etc) to hop on the deal, but eventually other music platforms won out and Tidal was sold. They all received a nice lil 9mil check but in general there wasn’t enough buy-in.

Amanda

Yes! I love this album! I can't believe you still have some of her very best work to come. You're so lucky to get to hear these next few albums for the first time lol

Breana Blue

Beyoncé been rapping since ‘No, No, No x Destiny’s Child’

C warren

Save 4:44 for a Jay-Z journey if you decide to go down that rabbit hole, but Black Is King or next era me please! lol

NutellaCookiez N'Oreoz

Agreed! I was in a drought waiting for YT to catch up to Homecoming😭💝

Mark

Keep going with the Beyonce journey. Jay Z can wait lol

Dana (Dah-Nah)

4:44 should've come before this since that's how they were released but since you skipped it, doesn't really matter

Jaywoot

Skip 4:44 for a jay z journey let’s finish Beyoncé we want you to catch up before the new album comes out this year

Cynthia Fenderson

I’m with you on this🥰! I also really want him to react to her performance of Be Live

Erwin 𐚁

Nice!!! I wasn’t sure where we were going after Homecoming. So glad we didn’t skip this gem. Black is King / The Gift is a MUST

Erwin 𐚁

Also check on the stream of their Global Citizen concert from 2018 in Africa. They perform “Apeshit.”

T

I love her adlibs on this album “ITS NOTHING” & 🗣️ “IM MALCOM X”

T

Yes you’re right! This is a flex album because Lemonade and 4:44 was their transparent/emotional projects. They made it on the other side and celebrated with EIL “I can’t believe we made it!!”

T

“‘I ain’t never seen a ceiling in my whole life’ that’s word to Blue!!” A ref your would’ve got had you listened to 4:44

Victoria Stöberl

Okay I give my wishlist a try :) - Black is King (thanks CeéJay) - Renaissance - Renaissance Tour - Cowboy Carter - Cowboy Carter Tour - Act III (hopefully out on 29th May

Curwin Sphere

Let's keep 4:44 for the Jay Z journey. You did say you wanted to react to some of his work so I think we should keep his solo work seperate from your Bey journey. So before we move on to Black is King, I think you should react to their joint performance from 2018 in South Africa, it also features one of their best live performances of Ape Sh*t from The Carters album. You'll definitely enjoy. Black is King straight after.

Robio 🖤

Please make sure Black is King is on the list! Please watch the film it may have to be just Paetron but it should come after this but before On The Run II. Then we can move to renaissance

Robio 🖤

Right, we can do Family Fued and move on

Robio 🖤

Omg!! He's sooooo not ready for Spaghetti

Robio 🖤

THANK YOU WE NEED BLACK IS KING NEXT

Victor Hugo Okamoto Husch

Beyoncé is credited with popularizing a signature staccato rap-singing style in modern music, she is rap singing since Destiny's. You should react to "Savage" the remix, it's soooo good, seems like the original, not remix! Savage as a extra bey reaction

Michael

That's pharell Williams on Nice with Beyonce n Jay z Black is King on Disney visuals album after Everything is love thank you for your Beyonce journey

Saphire

This album has such a great energy to it. Here are some other songs you can react to where Beyoncé raps. These are singles that you won't run into any of them on your Beyoncé journey so you can react to them perhaps as a side quest: Savage Remix (Megan Thee Stallion feat. Beyoncé), Top Off (DJ Khaled feat. JAY-Z, Future & Beyoncé), Shining - DJ Khaled, Beyoncé, JAŸ-Z. There are others but you will likely run into them as you continue your journey.

Amor

he should react to “Black is King” that way he can react to the songs and music videos at the same time instead of just playing the album then re listening to them with the videos

Marie

Next should be Black is King / The Gift please. Let's focus only on the Beyoncé journey.

Angelleus Bastique

Random request but I would love to see a Sinners movie reaction!!!🔥🔥🔥

Kay Emmanuel

you missed an important part of the story: Jay's side which is his 4:44 album. First of all you have to listen to some of Jay's catalogue, if you love Kendrick I think you'll love Jay too. They both are lyrically deep and Jay raps about Bey in alot of his music. I would like you to do your own Jay Z journey but if not listening to 4:44 could be thing that help you better understand Jay Z more

Manstereon

This just goes to show that Beyonce is a chameleon - she can do almost every genre there is! This album marks her venture into hip-hop, and boy is she good in melodic rap!!! And it's fun to see that our man here Luke is blown away by it LOL We not done yet Luke, you have yet to experience more from her: afrobeats (Black is King/ The Gift), house music (Renaissance), and country music (Cowboy Carter)!!

Britney Renèe

Pharrell Williams was the other voice on Nice and he produced it. As you go through your hip hop journey you may actually start picking up on his productions. Very distinct sound.

HKAMILAH

Summer and Apeshit are my favourites from this album. Gosh, i couldn't believe the video for Apeshit when I first saw it.

m

BOUGHT HIM A JET🗣️🗣️😂

m

Yes and if you do wanna do it, I recommend doing it on the side as another random video!

Orlando

More specifically this verse was also a subliminal at Kanye as he exited the tidal team and was the beginning fracture of their relationship.

m

Yesss

m

Luke when you paused it at 19:24 and then didn’t rewind I had a heart attack LMAOOO😂😂

Emoni Kellum

A large part of Black American culture is the “flexin” aspect of life. It mostly comes from a “look at how far we’ve come” space, given our history in this country and the things we had to fight through to get here. It’s not understood a lot by many people outside of the culture, so I can see how it comes off braggadocious. But it’s a huge part of our culture. No EVERY one participates, however it’s more common than not.

Emoni Kellum

I was gonna suggest these same songs!

Orlando

Luke, this is a dense, multilayered album that can feel disorienting at first—it’s packed with nuance and steeped in the Carters’ own internal lore. At its core, though, it’s about them emerging from infidelity as a more unified, solid partnership. They lean into a bombastic, braggadocious tone, but it’s deliberately tongue-in-cheek. Beneath the flexing, the real message is about building generational wealth and creating access—not just for themselves, but for those around them. It’s a testament to the power of family, whether chosen or blood, and what can be achieved when everyone is aligned. With focus, discipline, and shared vision, success becomes less of a fantasy and more of a blueprint—one you can actually execute, as long as the people in your circle are in alignment.

Orlando

Also, if you think this change you’re experiencing with Bey is crazy, just buckle up friend, you’re in for the ride of your life.

Orlando

I know everyone is wanting to transition BIK but I think he should listen to the gift first, then the making of the gift documentary, then go to Black is king. Just my two cents

Tvo Sndvl

Me too!! I was like!!! What?! He’s gonna miss it!!!

Tvo Sndvl

I don’t want to ruin it for you, but you’re about to experience another Bey! She’s not just a diva, she’s not just a mother, she’s the legend that she promissed to be years ago… starting the following 5 tracks to the end of cowboy cárter!

Leah B

I think that is Jasmin from SYTYCD on the first cover.

rere

"Beyonce like I've never seen her." You'll be saying that plenty more 😊

Jodi

Luke, i recommend looking at Genius to explore some of the lyrical references. It’s not always accurate but it adds a lot of context!

Mark

PLEASE MEET RAP-EYONCÉ!

Jay Costa

black is king movie coming soooon 🔥😮‍💨 can’t wait

Darryl King

The Carters is one of my favorites

Joseph

I think you can skip 4:44 for now.

Jason LeMar

He already did On The Run Tour. The OTR II didn’t stream

Jason LeMar

Let’s not forget the Savage (Remix) with Meg The Stallion, after Black Is King and before Renaissance!

Victoria Stöberl

You absolutely right. Just wrote the wrong title. My bad

Candice Williams

Luke's going to lose his shi+ when he sees how much older Blue Ivy is now. lol

Miranda Cook

Nice had Pharrell who produced the song. You heard him before when listening to The Clipse. As you go through your hip hop journey you will run into him over and over again as he’s produced everyone from snoop and Jay Z to Britney Spears. He’s been around since the late 90s If nothing else you’ve heard his song Happy from the Despicable Me soundtrack because it was impossible to escape, especially if you have kids.

Jai Sono

Nice is top 10 Jay Z verses for me.

Clarence ??

& Be Alive (live), and Kobe’s tribute

Adelle

Ooooh I’m so excited! This is one of my favorite albums period. It was the album of the summer for my friends and I when it dropped. I have such great memories riding around with the windows down, blasting this album, fresh out of high school feeling like we were on the top of the world. We were about to hit the climax of the BLM movement and tensions were really high in my city. It was the end of a long senior year. I had people constantly telling me that I wasn’t going to get into any of the schools that I applied to. Once I got accepted into ALL schools that I applied to (including my 9% acceptance rate early decision choice), these people had the audacity to tell me I only got in because of affirmative action 🙃 It didn’t matter to them that I was in the top 10% of my class, that I was in the student government, was the president of multiple clubs and a key member of several more. All of my accomplishments didn’t matter. I was a Black girl, and according to them, we don’t get into top schools based purely on merit. Of course, it was only because they needed to fill a diversity quota. I did my best to shake them off and accepted my diploma with a Black power fist in the air, but sadly their words did have some effect. This album dropped a week of two after I graduated and something clicked. I was a BOSS and those racist kids, teachers, and counselors could kiss my Black ass. Something about me being so accomplished as a young Black girl made them feel inferior, but that wasn’t my problem. Since then, whenever I need to remind myself of how badass I am, I put on this album and let Beyoncé (and Jay) remind me 🤗 Sorry to wax poetic in your comment section! This album just means a lot and I love that you can see and understand the vision. You’ve fast become my favorite reactor. You just get art and music and love in a way few people do. It’s fun seeing people react to how gorgeous Beyoncé is physically, but it’s so much better to see people react to how gorgeous Beyoncé’s mind is as well. You catch little musical and lyrical details that other reactors are too distracted to get. Even when a song doesn’t immediately hit for you, you still get it somehow. And you’ve cultivated such a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Watching your reactions is a reminder that there are still cool people in the world (word to Chloe and Halle, who also need to go on the reaction list). Thank you for being you 🩷

Teriagotemhookd

Trina said her favorite rapper is Beyonce

Lynette Cooper

I like that people are explaining that “flexing” is very much cultural to both hip hop and aspects of Black American culture due to our history… but also Bey and Jay’s history in the industry. The amount of disrespect and snubbing they’ve experienced purely because they are the best and happen to be Black is insane.

Jilly

Your reaction to the kiddos lets me know you are gonna be a f’in MESS when you hear Provider off Cowboy Carter. 🩷

RC

Yes, definitely skip 4:44. We could just come back to it. :)

Shay Tinney

Happy being “impossible to escape”… lol no truer words ever spoken 😆

Senè

I think you can save 444 for a full jay z reaction. Next should be the OTRII tour (suggest the south Africa one); then the gift documentary; then black is king full visual album; then renaissance album; then renaissance film; then cowboy carter album ; then there is a GREAT fan edited full concert video on YouTube that shows you clips from different concerts stitched so well and it has all the great performances.

Sarah

Renaissance film tears are def coming!

Sarah

Be ready to cry on a few Cowboy Carter songs about kiddos 🥹🥹
