Denken is in the northern plateau and is on the way to visit his wife’s grave as he said during the exam, which was his whole purpose in taking the exam in the first place.

Ara Araragi

"Why are they surrounded by ducks?" Because the children in every village love Stark, and duck children are apparently no exception 😆

No, we are stuck in a hiatus at chapter 147 since about October I think due to Mangaka health. In the manga, there are 2 major completed arcs after this season, and one in the middle of a big cliffhanger that is literally killing me but I must wait for the writer and illustrator to feel better. That’s why they only did 10 episodes so they don’t catch up to the manga. This season will end about chapter 80 of the manga. Season 1 covered chapters 1 - 60. Hopefully, we get a big reveal for the next arc in the finale (most reader’s favorite arc). They’ve already foreshadowed it in 3 separate episodes now, which is exciting.

I’m almost 100% certain that that wasn’t the Demon King. It should be a character that will be very important probably next season.

This anime tells so much with few things. Himmel POV, Frieren reading, then empty pages... He loved Frieren, he loved their adventures with Eisen and Heiter, he loved these 10 years together, and now... He's not there anymore... So much tears in my eyes !

Animals like Fern

bitteraerie

when Fern says not to praise Frieren because it'll be bad for her "development", the manga used the word "upbringing" instead, which I always found hilarious 😂 they really do treat her like they're raising a child sometimes lmao

Frieren ending after only 10 episodes might be sad but at least the next Madhouse anime called Liar Game is an adaptation of my all time favorite manga.

charlymoon

nah man surely those are just rumours, don't worry about it

Ganralph

Man its nice to see your reaction when the whole thing with Himmels journal happened. Thought I was the only one that reacted that way. Man I was tearing up and didnt even really know why.

Mericat

Honestly me too TT_TT

Hope you don't skip the opening for the last episode coz it's a good rewind for the episodes.

It's just so relatable. I have voice recordings of my father that I cherish. I haven' t listened to them in years but I know exactly where they are.

One day Luke will learn how to pronounce words. Not even the Japanese ones, just the English ones.

Funny how must people don't realize this picture of Frieren in front of a big demon was already shown earlier this season, while Frieren was talking about the Hero of the South and the seven Sages of Destruction. I doubt that's the demon king, more probably the last of the seven Sages that escaped (at episode 2 I thought this was the one who killed the Hero of the South but that would make no sense to show him now).

Hououin Kyouma

Yes, that guy is Denken. He is setting things up for the next major arc. Comparing Frieren's mana with Fern's is like comparing Serie's mana with Frieren's. For a human who has been learning magic since an early age, she has a lot of mana, but it is nowhere near Frieren's level. Fern excels in two aspects compared to Frieren which will be speed and mana usage efficiency. Read something else instead of the same Red Rising books you always talk about. Let me recommend something to read. Read the Foundation series by Isaac Asimov. Great sci-fi series or Arthur C. Clarke's anthology.
