The Steel Ball Run manga initially didn't have the "Jojo's bizarre adventure" prefix. So it was just called Steel Ball Run until the prefix was added later on.

hell yeah this is so peak. these are easily the best anime openings visually and probably top 3 song wise (part 5 and 6 openings are the best). you should really do the endings too since they are some of the best :)

if I HAD TO rank the parts: 5 > 3 > 4,6,2 > 1 part 1 i love I'd say 8/10 but the rest are better. part 5 is easily the best 10/10. i cant decide between 2,4,6 they are defo tied. best jojo is forever jolyne tho

Rohan's stand is strongest. He was able to keep up his manga serialization with time speeding up. He's even stronger in his own series. He can make people speak Italian lol.

Part 6 op 1 has another varient too. Explanation: They add her running on the new across the water. Also she turns around and hugs Jotaro at the end of the opening instead of grabbing the bars.

It's awesome that they had Jolyne as a manga panel in part 1's opening. Really shows it's the evening of the adventure as time goes back to the first part.

ngl, lots of the "untied" things you mentioned were tied up lol i think your just forgot: 1. the invisible baby was adopted by jospeh as they didn't find its mother 2. the alien wasn't actually an alien he was just trolling the gang with his stand (technically this isn't confirmed but its pretty obvious) 3. the ghost stuff in part 4 isn't really explained but its pretty implied to just be a stand ability that causes some people to cling to the ghost alleyway 4. the koichi and jotaro stuff they fully showed their conversation and said what they were going to do

If every single character from parts 1-6 were pitted against each other, Giorno would come out on top. Even if they all tried to take him down together, GER would still come out on top. The thing about it is that you cannot do ANYTHING unless it lets you. You can't punch, you can't stop time, you can't breathe, you can't blink. All you can do is watch it send you to eternal death loop.

Giorno’s stand is the strongest in parts 1-6 and it’s not even remotely close. And Pucchi absolutely did not win, in fact you could say he decisively had the biggest loss because he did the exact opposite thing he wanted.

Idk why your so hung up on koichi in italy when that plotline when finished. He went to italy and completed his mission of finding out if giorno was a threat or not.

Part 4 feels like you can remove it from JoJo's and it will be the same story.... yet, it also feels unique and stands out at the same time.

I've said it before here, but even my least-favorite JoJo part is still well above stuff I actually don't like. My JoJo part order (I'm a manga person, so): 2, 4, 7, 6, 8, 5, 3, 1 and I still love Part 1!

You did indeed miss the p4 interrupt, iirc you were about to move and recorded more eps in advance, so you had already recorded the ep before people started telling you to not skip the op that ep. On an unrelated note, the second p3 op is sung by all three singers from the previous three openings, and there's a special version of the last p4 op where they brought in all previous singers to sing it together. For more, I'd recommend mothers basement's video analysis for each op, there's an insane level of detail in these ops that often only shows up for a few frames.

You could say that Pucci did help the Jojo's, when he literally removed the Joestar surname from them, so without Joestars, the machinations of Dio (and his successor Pucci) would cease to exist too.

One of my fav details of the third opening here is when you see the 3 Jojos 9:55 or so here. Jonathan closes his eyes, Joseph has his eyes open and Jotaro opens his eyes. Symbolising how one's story has ended, another continues and one is just beginning.

I recommend if you haven't already to see the lyrics for the 4th opening, you said its one of the weaker ones, maybe it still will be, but the lyrics, whenever I read em or if I watch a opening cover, it hypes you up so much, gives so much story telling of what is happening.

Having the villains change the openings is such a genius thing to do and I'm glad they kept doing it. It's a minor thing to do, but it's peak "Fuck it, it's cool" which is the essence of Jojo. Jojo is also the most Vibe-based anime I know, if someone tell me they don't like Jojo it's fine, because you have to vibe with the weirdness to appreciate it. Even the parts, your favorite part will always be the one you vibe with, it's not something you can argue with, because each part is so different.

if you want to know what happened to Fugo from part 5 you need to read the short novel Shameless Purple Haze/Purple Haze Feedback, its about a 3-4 hr read and you can find a free translation of it online. (I don't think it had an official English release) its not written by the Author of Jojo but its basically as close as you can come to being official without being legally official, Araki drew the artwork in the book and even official media like Jojo videogames have Fugo use attacks from the novel.
