Vivica the witch

Too answer your question about passing one for all to someone with a quirk...your asking the right questions.

Barack O. Llama

1:40 luke has NO IDEA what he just said lmao "all for one" is very very interesting name

Kungor

Yes, the invisible girl is naked when she's in her hero "costume". Which is all kinds of fucked up because y'know... 15.

Anarchy

Which kinda sucks. Because there’s genuinely no alternative for her power.

Anarchy

As in for the costume. There’s obviously alternative powrs

Maks Lesniewski

She's also living proof that horny weebs will make porn art out of *anything*.

Kungor

I had a thought about that before. Obviously I won't drop names because of spoilers, but a certain hero mentions that he had his hair woven into his costume so he could wear it during hero work. Could they have not done something similar for her? The whole idea of her characterization as it is just gives me the ick.

Bryan Ross

invisible girl, as far as I know, is completely and fully naked except for the gloves, full on pussy out. She wears the gloves just so that allies know where she is, but can take them off to be fully invisible if she needs to How would she make invisible clothes? How would anyone even work with invisible fabrics enough to make clothes out of them?

Bryan Ross

It only really gets sketch when you consider her going into hand to hand combat with someone, but that's not really her specialty anyways, she's there to infiltrate and spy, a role where she will never be touched. Whether she's wearing clothes or not, nobody can see her body.

Sinbad_Deity

Isn't she invisible because she's bending light around her, that's what she's able to reflect Aoyama's beams, so clothes shouldn't be an issue if, she can just bend the light around that too.

Barack O. Llama

very odd use of wording when talking about minors. someone check this dude's hard drives

Maks Lesniewski

13:40 No...she has gloves and shoes on. Hope that helps.

Bryan Ross

when talking about fictional characters* Go for it, check em all you want, I ain't got nothin to hide.

Maks Lesniewski

Also, the U.A. Sports Festival becoming the next big thing really makes sense if you think about it being a sports festival held by the country's biggest and most prestigious hero education school, where one of the teachers is this world's Superman.

Yula

My favorite season.

Notora

dude you need to stop asking questions about one for all XD your questions will all be answered. just gotta be patient

Nikkelz

A reminder that over half of the comment section atm are full of spoilers, Doing so means Luke CANNOT come read/engage with you guys. be considerate of what your writing

Anarchy

The issue with the whole making hair into a costume, is obvious, how are they gunna see the invisible hair?

Anarchy

Maybe delete this very obvious very big spoiler too.

Recall

But there are no stakes in a sports festival so I bet its going to be terrible

botanbutton

Yes, she is naked. Maybe one day she won't have to be but until that day comes....she's naked. 😅

Shadow_284

I swear season 2's first opening is one of the best in the series. Peace Sign is such a banger.

Kanna kamui

day 6 of asking for double reactions 🥲

Magic Fibre

"Why am I so excited for this festival?" YOU SHOULD BE

Von Yoosten

JFYI about the whole "muh MHA bad" Comments you keep referring to: I don't think anyone really complains about S1, that hooked even many non-Shounen Fans (like me). Season 2 is then pretty much the Favourite of many, and overall for what's in it, it's definitely also one of mine. Season 3 is where the Show then absolutely peaks in my Opinion, so I'm looking forward of getting there! However going past that is where some Problems will start to arise and without spoiling anything, Manga Readers were quite furious or at least split about the Ending. So it's not that MHA is bad at all. I think without making the Comparison too direct, it's kinda in the Spirit of how People have a hard Time recommending Game of Thrones because while it has such Highs, the Lows really do hit against the overall Reputation. But I encourage you to form your own Opinion of course. Just don't be mistaken about the Negativity you hear surrounding the Show. Where you're at right now, those Voices have little Merit and most of the People who speak against MHA would at this Point still fully support all positive Sentiment!

Some0neElse

Luke, Just a heads up: Everything around All Might's quirk is a spoiler territory so if someone start explaining it in comments - do not read!

Sylus Alvarado

When Shaula says Subaru smells like flugel, I remember Betelgeuse shouting flugels name when he first used the authority of sloth in Emilia’s flashback. I wonder if because flugel was related to the authority in the past somehow, that’s why Shaula thinks Subaru is her master by smelling the authority on him.

Eden_D-W

it's still worth at least until Season 6, I think that Season 4 is where we have one of the best arcs so far. My only real disappointment is with Season 5, mostly because of that arc very poorly adapted that you notice it could be better even if you haven't read the manga. And for me Season 6 arc, while not as good as the arcs from Season 3 and 4, it's a lot better than the final arc.

Eden_D-W

if people really want to talk about spoilers at least say it like "that thing from Season X" or points the episode, people who watched will understand without being a spoiler for Luke.

Exelion AI

"TOURNAMENT ARC TOURNAMENT ARC IT'S A F***ING TOURNAMENT ARC! TOOOOOURNAMENTTT AAAAAAAAARCCC! We interrupt this broadcast to bring you in an important message: TOOOURNAMENT AAAAARCC. TOOOOOURNAMENTTT AAAAAAAAARCCC. Tournament Arc? TOOOOOOURNAMENT AAAAAARCC. HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE. Why can't everything just be a tournament arc." Gigguk, Spring 2017, when this began airing xD

AdrixelCV

I didn't remember that scene with the full cowl at the beginning...

Kevin Michael

My reaction when he said it 👀

Kenneth Hoerz

Think of it. The world can't have the Olympics anymore because all the people with Quirks would be like people on steroids in all games. Their would be no more baseline. It would be like cheating. So a sports festival where kids get to show off how they can use their Quirks would be the next best thing.

Jeff

You know what? I think MHA might have some of my favorite female characters in anime. Ururaka, Tsu, Mina, and Jiro just seem like good normal people that you'd want to be friends with. You also have Kirashima and Tokoyami who both seem like guys who'd have your back when you need them.

Aaron Yin

Luke please do some 2 episode reactions starting this season! a lot of the fights happen over 2 episodes and only watching one is a torture. we also want you to get to the later parts faster, it only gets better as it keeps going.

YueTempest

Doing 1 episode at a time is so painful 😭

Nate Ming

It feels very appropriate and good that Luke has already seen Hunter x Hunter, which inspired Naruto, and is now watching MHA (inspired by both, among others) as we head into another "exam/tournament" arc

Sakomi Arorim

Kungor We technically already have an example. With Mineta's gloves being made with some material from Minata's body to allow the gloves to not stick to his Quirk, As only Mineta is immune to their stickiness. Unfortunately there is not much point to do that for Toru As trying to make an outfit out of permanently invisible stuff is probably very difficult and even if such an outfit could have been made, keeping track of it and putting it on correctly would be an other layer of difficulty. As for the icky feeling. if it is a big issue for you. One can just simply head-canon her wearing Violet Parr's outfit from The Incredibles or something similar that is only invisible when worn.

Bryan Ross

Always sad how a certain group can never stop themselves from posting spoilers

Shin

1 episode at a time is gonna kill me

Sian Richardson

Now that you mention it... how was Hagakure (invisible girl) not bottom of the board in the skills tests on the first day? All the others had a test they excelled in due to their quirk. What would she have excelled at?

no u uwu

MHA officially starts now. Season 1 is good, but this is where things get going. Hope you’re excited bro. You’re In for a ride.

IBG_Music

A problem is that many doesn't even realize they're doing it. If people want to talk about spoilers, go to his discord in spoiler channels.

thewizardninja

Just about any team sport would benefit from an invisible player. They'd have to function as a free agent and focus on interception since you wouldn't be able to pass to them but just the fact that you don't know where they are or who they're marking would add a ton of mental pressure. You'd have to play the whole game assuming that she's not only in front of you but also in front of everyone you're passing to.

Itto Sanzzo

This kind of contains spoilers, so Luke, do not read it. 1:41: "All for One, One for All, whatever", hehehehe

yorozuyapetel

I gotta mention that they have this half recap episode for basically every season, as someone who followed the series as it released for some 5 years, it’s definitely necessary if you’re not binging.

Marc-Andre Bujold

The final arc was rated 9.5 average and didn't have a single episode dip under 9.1.

Vinnick

To answer your question from right at the start about One For All, based solely on knowledge presented thus far: All Might's original plan for teaching at the academy was to look for a successor among the hero course, all of whom would have quirks, so you can infer that it doesn't need a quirkless person to take it. Also, given his initial reaction to meeting Deku and telling him he couldn't be a hero without a quirk (back in episode 2), it's clear he wasn't thinking of a quirkless person for a successor at that point. EDIT: Okay, that part got pretty much spelled out two minutes later, after I wrote this. Serves me right for commenting before finishing the episode!

IBG_Music

I understand many in the comments are excited, but for goodness sake... I believe Luke has a discord right? So please go into a spoiler channel there and talk about it. Don't do it in the comments. If he asks a rhetorical question, don't answer it. In fact don't answer any question he asks, that you know will be answered in the future of the series. If he gets something wrong or right, don't draw attention to it. Don't discuss anything regarding future seasons. It's not hard. Thank you for your work mods.

IBG_Music

And maybe we would like to keep it that way.....

Hamse99

Yeah people need to stop answering Luke's question or leading him to specific answer just let him theorize and leave it at that or he will never be able to read the comments

Zer0

She's naked

Zen Reacts

Sorry Luke you can't ask questions about any quirk even rhetorically cause asshats are gonna spoil you

виина

The show will tell the answer about giving OFA later

Darion Elifritz

Yes, but NO ONE should be answering them

виина

OFA is short way to say the name of the quirk

Abdulmenam7

ahhhhh thats ending man i love it

Magic Fibre

She could have just been more fit than Deku at that time, in which case she'd beat him in most tests, except the throw. Also Deku bombed the few last tests after he broke his finger

Rhast

You should play the openings and endings just once again. I know you have a reaction video, but that was years ago, and you now have context. I'd like to see if your impressions are different now.

Rhast

Ochako's reason for wanting to be a hero is so lovely. To help her parents, what's more selfless than that?

ReDragon8700

invisibility is perfect for american football, they can hold the ball off to the side of their body to trick tacklers of their position and can move one arm much faster than a full body. they could step out of bounds and never catch a penalty. Not great in UAs sports festival but you know...

Alex

Fictional character that's still very much 15 yo? Hello? Gross.

Bryan Ross

@alex well, if you want someone to complain to, complain to the mangaka that designed a 15 year old character completely nude

Amberyootoob

She’s naked, gloves so there’s less chance of friendly fire.

Yariko27

The final arc is just straight up 🔥 ya'll trippin

mealias

Please do 2- 3 episodes per reaction? 🥲 you can binge 3 episodes at once, this anime has so much, you wont regret watching 2-3 eps a time 🥰 especially in season 3 😁

Matthew Harms

Oh Luke, I can only smile and chuckle. Your reactions are going to be priceless.

ConnersHund

SPOILER: "the allmight ability all for one / one for all, doesnt matter... xD"

ConnersHund

Sports where invisibility helps? There are alot lol, what about basketball or football (soccer), if you cant see your enemy only the ball movements its hard to counter xD

Meg Ustav Lover Guh

true, she'll lose the benefit as soon as she picks up the ball so it's be good for defense (not getting the whole team out)
