1:08:42 might not be the funniest story but still curious Infrared light was discovered by William Herschel by accident while he was studying how different colors of sunlight affected temperature, he used a glass prism to split sunlight into its spectrum: red, orange ,yellow, green, blue, violet He placed thermometers in each different color light to measure the heating effect but then he noticed something weird with a thermometer that was placed just beyond the red end where there was no visible light , it showed an even higher temperature than any of the colors So by doing this he discovered that light is more that what we percieve with the eyes and that heat does indeed transfer through radiation and not just conduction or convection

She's mad he has a B because he literally comes from a Spanish speaking household, so it's more personal as he should know Spanish as she speaks Spanish to him. Funnily enough, in my high school, the Spanish speakers often didn't get A's. Partly because they teach Spain Spanish not Hispanic Spanish, but also there is a lot more slang and colloquial ways to speak Spanish than what is taught. Also the fact a lot of them know Spanish so they don't take the class seriously and miss assignments and what not. Also, he's trying to get into the top colleges in the country. A 'B 'can kill your GPA and prevent you from getting into a super competitive school. That's why she says "we can salvage this". As now he has to make himself stand out more as his GPA won't be at the top anymore.

You mention the spiderman game. In that game, Miles dad does die during a ceremony. So its foreshadowed very early on. Still kind of crazy that Genke is playing a game where Miles is in it and his dad dies, but Miles still has a secret identity.

You were concerned near the start about patreon people not liking when you pause. Ive personally no issue with it and no one else should. The people who do can just skip ahead it's easy enough. Where it gets a lil frustrating is when you DONT pause, and you look at chat during an important moment; then dont look at chat for a million years and miss them all saying you missed something lol. Other than that moment in the middle, greatly enjoying the reaction

Just because they are your kid doesn't mean their off the hook and bear no responsibilities for all their actions. I know luke goes blind when any parent child dynamic is show where the parent isn't a perfect human being. Even if gwen didn't kill peter she was still being a vigilante which is still a crime. Edit: I made this comment after the opening of the movie but the rest of the reaction was just Luke calling everyone that wasn't miles a dick or evil just because.

Tbh, I love these Spider-Man movies. I loved the first one, and the second one too. I've read comics my whole life, and although yeah sure, magic happens or multi-verse happens, etc., and whatnot, and everybody can revive, etc. I really liked how this was written, cuz I'm AFRAID AF of how this is going to end in the next part. Cuz tbf, I understand why people don't like Miguel, but if we see it as the bigger picture (and including some comic stuff 2), he ain't wrong. In this story, Miles was the origin of everything (or so it seems to be so far), he did what Miles is trying to do, and destroyed a whole universe, and other universes have been lost too. It was not something like "I lost someone" but literally "I killed a universe, a whole universe, a number of lives so big you can't even imagine", Miguel said "World", but to be fair, it's not like only the Earth gets destroyed, no, it's the whole universe. Also, Spiderman has said several times, "You can't save them all", cuz they literally can't. There have been several occasions in which Spider-Man sacrifices his loved ones for the greater good, not because he wants to, but because he knows it has to be done, or there is no other way. And in this case, Miles does not understand what that truly means, and Miguel is the embodiment of Thanos' phrase "The hardest choices require the strongest wills" The thing is, during most of the movie, the whole Spider-Association in the comics, actually, often does" controversial" things in pro of the greater good, the canon thing, and everything is movie only, so it's not the same, but it kinda follows the same pattern, so I have my theories of how they are going to approach this in the next part. Also, yeah, Miguel looks like a villain, but tbf, a bunch of Spider-Mans do. Spider-Noir? That mf does not pull punches, he actually upgrades them... with guns and a permanent solution LOL, Peni's story is fucked up as well, etc. Miguel has to be portrayed as the villain, but only from some perspectives. He is not evil, but he prioritizes the survival of the universe and the whole multiverse over 1 single person, and if he has to act like an asshole to do that, he will do it right away. He not only wants to avoid destroying the reality itself, but also wants to avoid everyone losing their universes and everyone on them. Only one more year, only one more freaking year for the finale.

Hobie is the best! He's tricking people from the moment we meet him... _especially_ the audience! The entire time, he's working to support Miles because he knows that Miguel's Spider Society is awful. Watch his scenes again, and you'll pick up on all of the little hints of what he's actually working toward... setting Gwen up to become the leader of her counter-insurgency. Also... that bloody cliffhanger... at least you're lucky that there's only SO long before the next one is out, but when I saw this movie years ago... AUGH, that hurt!

He's not wrong though, most of the time. I'll give you Hobie, but Bakugo is an asshole and Gwen's dad was one too, before he came around - though the fact that it took him so long, I'd still grade him poorly.

Also, maybe I'm just a sociopath, but am I the only one who doesn't find the so-called "dilemma" to...be a dilemma at all? Like, if your entire world is gonna be eradicated by saving one person, then newsflash, that *includes* the person you saved, making your decision to save them literally pointless.

I give it to you about Bakugo in 1st season. But Gwen's dad is shocked. He considered arresting his daughter's friend murderer his duty. Then he discovered that Spidergirl, who he considered being a dangerous person, is his daughter. That she lied to him, not sure he was able to trust her now. It's not a good reaction, but at that moment, the confused father let go and only remained the cop, the only part he could cling to, full of adrenaline and confronted to a super. Again, his reaction is bad, but he's not an asshole.

he proven both. ton of cases everyone thought he ain't looking but he was and ton of cases where ppl thought he is looking but wasn't. i'd say he see 90% of time. his reaction to this movie was good. there is only one scene of 2 minutes which ended up 10+ cuz of yapping, but beside that , 9/10 reaction.

The fallacy (and the point the movie is kind of making) lies in the idea that you only have two options: Let the person die, or save them and kill the entire world. While some times it IS that dry cut, usually you have another dozen options you're either not seeing, or somebody isn't telling you about. In this case, it would be the idea that you can find a way to save the person without erasing your world. And, the point Miles is making is that, as Superheroes, it should be their main, Secondary, AND Tertiary imperatives to try and find that third option, instead of resigning themselves to the original two

Yeah, I guess, but I kind of wish they had followed through with the theme of "you can't save everyone" from the first movie, and I'm scared they won't do that because they wouldn't want to portray Miles as being in the wrong. I'd actually like the movie to show that there *were*, in fact only two options, also because I doubt nobody in the entire task force would've considered the option of saving everyone if it was possible.
