The surgery is never fully told bc the disease is never fully explained. Most people believe by the symptoms and age she has ALS or Friedreich's Ataxia which surgery would have to involve either the spine or heart for the best long-term solution.

Slipstream

I always imagined it as a brain tumor like Michiyuki Kawashima from Boom Boom Satellites. RIP But, as you've mentioned. It's up to the viewer to decide.

Rem is best waifu

Absolutely could be, I just never seen it addressed.

A university hospital (or teaching hospital) is a medical center officially affiliated with a university and its medical school. It serves a dual purpose: providing high-level patient care while acting as the primary training site for medical students, resident physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

This is a big boy anime, Luke. Now people know you're serious about consuming anime. Bravo! But this is just one of many battles. Other serious anime exist, some less painful to watch then others. The main thing is to remember that this anime made you, feel something. The author reached you heart. Remember that fact Luke. Like many things, anime is a journey. We all tread the path, one step at a time. What we see on the journey depends on the path we take. So remember, the hardest paths often lead to the greatest views. Big boy anime are a test of courage. Finish this anime so we can stamp your card and welcome you to the club. :)

The Final 3 coming up.

15:50 TO BE FAIR, luke, the Egg sandwiches SPECIFICALLY in japan Kombini stores (like the 7Evelen chains IN JAPAN SPECIFICALLY) are BANGERS for their fresh egg sandwiches and other fast-snacks. When i traveled there, those convenience store sandwiches tasted better at certain moments than many 5 star restaurants that I visited in other countries before arriving in japan.

Ara Araragi

Definitely enjoying your reactions, and excited for you to experience the finale!

David Stowe

It's especially hard as a father to watch kids suffer like this.

PorterDragneel

Would love to see you react to the last 2 episodes in the same video, or at least watching session

Earl Preston

dang "the author reached you" Thats mirroring the "did my music reach them" theme in the anime well done! he's done angel beats so hes done hard ones for sure.

Earl Preston

man her saying "train like there's no tomorrow" really really hits hard. I think why you want another season is partly just the package as a whole. when something is this well orchestrated, (pun half intended!) you want to just live in the world longer. weather its pain or pleasure when something is delivered with this level of care and attention to detail you dont want it to end. trying to savor the moment is a special gift of a well crafted story. This is just eating at me since ive seen it before but it was so long ago that i don tknow exactly where certain moments happen. i just remember the overall arc.

Damian

Shall he watch Clannad after finishing Your Lie in April?? I'd like to see his reaction to it.

Nikkelz

March & april are subgoals from a previous promise, once both are done this slot is not revoted for, currently dr stone is apart of this as hes trying to expediate this series which is originally the saturday double drop youtube slot. Likely to go back to normal once the other 2 are finished.

Malik Ford

I hope we get an upload tomorrow 🥹

Dont worry Luke, I have defintely have been enjoying these reactions! I could tell that this anime has been hard for you to watch, but it seemed like that it was especially hard on you (especially when you were talking a little bit about your past when Kousei was starting to see his mom in a more positive way) and this episode as a father but I barely notice it other than those. Even then though, I dont think of it as "weird" I just think of it as you telling us how this anime impacts you as an individual, which I think is basically what a reaction is. But everytime that you get emotional, know that there are a ton of other people that are getting emotional along with you (even some of the people who have already watched this anime like myself). This anime isnt just another anime that makes you cry, but one that is able to make all of us feel intensely move all of us. There is a reason why it is loved by so many. This anime has single handedly kicked all of our asses lol

Mericat

We gotta make him watch the last two episodes together

SurrealSidhe

Wasn't sure where to put this, sorry it's not in line with this content. But I did want to ask if you'd consider going back to the Amazing Digital Circus. The final episode dropped last month, it is now complete, and honestly I'm pretty sure the ending might make you cry along with the rest of us!

James Perrott

my hero wheeeeerreeeeeee (im desperate lol)

Aaren YASS

What's a harder watch, Angel Beats or Clannad?

Slipstream

Of the two mentioned, I would say Angel Beats!. but that's just my opinion. lol Although Made in Abyss and Death Parade really tough to watch as well. Aku no Hana is another really hard to watch because it's so anxiety educing.

Earl Preston

Probably angel beats because it's shorter.

Binbou

23:30 Luke, you have no enemies.

sparkfly2000

I have loved this entire reaction series! Luke, I can tell from your expressions that we had almost the same exact emotions throughout the series.

Tysado

Anybody know if he’s mentioned when he will be finishing up the series? I know it’s sorta whenever he has time but Luke was cooking through and unfortunately stopped at a weird time haha

Lucie

Been loving this ! Can’t wait to watch the finale with you ✨

Daniel iacomi

Luke. when are you going to react to the next episode? it's almost finished, don't give up bro.

Iron_claw

Pick back up and Finish Hell's Paradise season 2 and finish sentenced to be a hero were all tired of waiting
