It's important to remember it's been only around 6 months or so since he got his quirk, and he is still 14 or 15 by this time. He also just started working out a couple months earlier too, so going from a prepubescent and weak body to still developing fit body helped him be able to use his quirk without exploding his limbs, but he still is not a buff adult like all-might was in his prime, and has a long way to go before he uses his quirk to a point. Also fan theory is that All Might is not quirkless but he has a quirk that allows him to inflate his body to store up excess power, which explains his physical appearance changing and being way more explosive with the quirk without any drawbacks

I think Tokoyami is extra paranoid about his quirk going out of control at this point. Besides the fact its a night mission and that's ALREADY an issue for him, I think psychologically he's in a very "following the rules is vital for safety, even when it sucks, no exceptions" place right now.

I'm gonna say this as a 3 or 4 year patreon supporter, I am getting old and I forgot. Luke you got way to much going on. I know it may be an unpopular opinion but I have seen so many series start and stop in the last year that are up in the air than the previous 2 years prior. Just take care of yourself man, don't push yourself to make more and more new content you don't want to do.

The thing is: Deku has it a lot harder to manage ofa because All Might increased the power of ofa all the time he was using it. Thats what he explained in the second episode about strengthening ofa through each generation. So even if All might could handle it kinda immediatly like grand torino said, its not comparable to the peak ofa which All Might transfered to Deku in episode 2

Yeah, Tokoyami feels a certain sense of guilt and definitely wants to go and help, but—especially after Dark Shadow spiraled out of control and he completely lost his grip on things—he’s likely afraid of losing control again, particularly if they set out at night and a fight breaks out. After all, one of his friends could get hurt right in front of his eyes, and then he might lose control all over again. That fear will probably hold him back.

yeah its a long chain of reactions in that slot. spy family is after dr stone, dr stone stopped coz of march, march stopped coz of ylia, and ylia has stopped as there are some weekly anime as well as other things he wants to do. i do wish he would go back to a weekly schedule like he used to have.

definitely not an unpopular opinion. its every time the views drop he tries to do something else and its just a constant loop of dropping/delaying anime. i genuinely think it would be much better if luke just read feedback and listened to what the community says. as people like you and me always mention this under every video but I've never seen him address it

he said in the past year he would react to more content than ever. Basically this year is an experiment he wanna make. This also mean at the end of the experiment it can end up as a failure or as a success. The failure could be from the fact some series end up unfinished who knows. TBF that is the point of any experiments, it can go great or it can go wrong and he wants data to show if he does great or he does worse. Nonetheless he is more likely to go normal after this or who knows maybe he finds a flow and can keep going without abandoning stuff. So far he didn't abandon anything I wanted. I only wanted the most popular series the best of the best and the ones that bring the most views for him, that is my wish and so far 100% was met with expectations and he finished 100% of all series I watched from him. If he didn't finish something prob mega unpopular

In literally every anime ever with situations like this they are always like “If you keep doing x, you will die/lose your arms/never be the same again.” And in every single one of them, the consequences are basically just cosmetic, including here. Nothing ever actually happens and if it does it’s not until after the last fight where it doesn’t really matter anymore.
