Haha; I hven't clicked a video of yours faster! Clevatess is a pure dark fantasy; definitely not an isekai. An anime with a similar atmosphere and feel would be Sentenced to be a Hero. The world of the anime/manga is surrounded by dark beasts with four in particular being dark beast lords; one of which is Clevatess himself. The main point of the anime is Clevatess essentially deciding whether humanity is worth keeping around or should be killed off. The female MC is Alicia; a hero who is killed and resurrected by Clevatess. The little kid you see in the OP is the main point of the story. I won't reveal more than that. The main plot of season 2 is more of an espionage thriller that gets darker as it goes on. The setting is a magic school, but it's not the story itself. The style of the anime is reminiscent of a lot of 90s fantasy like Berserk or Record of Lodoss War. Good stuff! The singer of both openings is, like you read, Mayu Maeshima, former lead singer of Myth & Roid. If you remember No Man's Dawn from Overlord season 4, then you will recall her. I do also recommend the endings; the first of which is by Ellie Goulding and the second by Mhyth & Roid. As for reacting to the anime itself I do recommend it! Great stuff with polictics, espionage, and plenty of mystery! Heck, there's even bits of humor interspersed.

It is not an isekai, surprisingly enough. But it is VERY good! Definitely worth putting on the must watch list! Opening reccomendations: Daemons of the Shadow Realm (same author as FMA) Black Torch Young Ladies Don't Play Fighting Games

What is it? Pretty damn dark. For some reason, I stopped watching it half-way through s1 but I DO want to finish both seasons. And it was funny when he got bonked on the head. "main character got injured. walking through the desert." The main character is in the opening but it's not her! More recommendations? for the 1,000th (or 5th) time, Airmaster Opening and Ending. Hell, the entire SERIES is free on YouTube.

Clevatess anime released last year July, same time as Gachiakuta. Its been one of my favorite fantasy shows to watch. And whenever a episode releases I've watched it within 2 hours.

I would give Clecatess 8/10 as anime. I like style it has and how it's animated. Story is not bad but not great but its unique. Original. That what good about it. It does not try to copy anything. It just is.
