I know that even without the other aspects, your body would be eating itself from the inside with way more efficiency anyways, so its right that its a negative trade off. But its still censorship and I'd rather see the original "worse" plot than have it changed arbitrarily because of broadcast regulations.

Nah, keep judging characters. Its funny when you have egg on your face later on. Really, people have the same opinions you do when first watching the show. People don't understand that prasing or hating on a character is a form of spoiling. It denies the watcher the character at the time for the character they haven't seen yet.

Dude Luke if you continue at this pace of 4 episodes of one piece per week you won't reach episode 1,180 of one piece for 5 years and that's not counting filler episodes and full recap episodes. And that's just where one piece is currently it's still continuing that's not where it ends there will be even more episodes. In my opinion you should be watching and reacting to at least 2 episodes of one piece per day 5 days out of the week that will put you at a good pace of 10 episodes per week. That would get you to episode 1,180 in about 2 years and 1 month which while still long it's not nearly as long as 5 years. And watching 2 episodes of one piece per day for 5 days a week is not hard and let me explain why. So • The total runtime of A typical one piece episode runs roughly ~22 to 24 minutes total. • The Openings & Endings: Music sequences take up about 3 to 4 minutes. • Recaps & Flashbacks: Standard recaps and repeated flashback footage account for roughly 2 to 5 minutes per episode. • New Story Content: This leaves approximately 13 to 18 minutes of actual new narrative, extended shots, or anime-original scene expansions per episode so we will average that to 15 minutes of new content per episode. So if on average there is 15 minutes of new content per episode throughout the entirety of the one piece anime and you add 10 minutes of you reacting like pausing giving your thoughts asking questions talking about what’s currently happening in the episode your reacting to or what happened in the episode you just finished watching and giving your reaction to what happened thats a total of 25 minutes per episode and if you react to 2 episodes a day that's 50 minutes a day not even an hour I would say that's not that much time at all and I would say at least 95% of people can find 50 minutes to 1 hour out of there day but that's just me and what I think personally.

53:06 I've always gotten upset at the people that say to not judge a character in a series, knowing they're ahead and have more context. That's a bread crumb spoiler. They know future things that are gonna happen and they expect you to know that the creator is gonna give very specific character development. The same thing applies to the people that say, "just wait until [so and so]", or "if he likes [specific person], he's gonna feel [insert emotion] about [future arc]. Bread crumb spoilers ruin the experience. Let Luke experience the moments as he's in them, and talk in the chats as if you're watching the series for the first time with him.

It might be a good idea to save your next One Piece stream until you have the time to sit down for a longer session. Not a spoiler, but ep. 37 is one of the greatest episodes in all of anime. Every one is hyped for it, and I guarantee you won't be disappointed either.

Little fun fact about eating your own leg: It would not sustain you, because the energy the body needs to heal the injury is far greater than the energy you get by eating it. BUT if you lose your leg in an accident you could still eat it to get more energy to heal the injury.

You should try to watch episodes 35, 36 and 37 in the same session if possible. They go together and they result in peak. If posible, you should either cut your next session at ep 34, or plan for a longer session.
