I am still laughing my ass off at the hype man sketch. It was just so silly funny. And the dark ending was like the Look at the flowers episode of the walking dead. 🤣🤣

A little context for the collegiate sketch. If you have ever watched the real ones in the U.S., the black players always have these insane names that actually sound and are made up. I'm a black American and this is some real shit. I have cousins with the craziest sounding names in the world. That's why my mom simply named me Dana. 🤣 She was like...hell nawl!

I love the East/West Collegiate Bowl sketch because it hits on so many levels. First, they make up a bunch of funny sounding names, poking fun at the kinds of names the players have. Next, they pick a number of Universities that have no business having a player in what amounts to an All-Star match. They also simplify the division of the universities into "East" and "West", when the NCAA has 11 separate divisions which sometimes have names that make sense (Atlantic Coast conference has schools in Texas and California, Big Ten conference has 18 schools, etc.) The final joke of the sketch, with Dan Smith - BYU, has the only white player with a basic name attending Brigham Young University, a religious school founded by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (aka Mormons), where the African-American student population is about .5%. There's probably more, but I just love the many layers of the sketch.

The joke in the East vs West Bowl is that football players have increasingly unusual names. There will be REAL players in the second one. Additionally there are two or three other sketches that refer back to these, and there's at least one reference to another sketch within them

Dave Chappelle stand up please 😊

Exactly how I felt about Of Mice and Men and being truamatized as a child forced to read this insane ass book.

East-West Bowl lives rent free in my head decades later.

Real players are in the third one, not the second
