Im not a manga reader so I don't really know more than you, but I also assumed he knows so much about the corpse paranormally. Like, the hand is telling him to find the other parts, or something. And once he knows about the corpse, the fact that the terrorists also want it could be just a reasonable deduction

Pork Pie Hat kid (the kid with fishhooks) has the same VA as Kazuma from Konosuba and Pax from Mushoku Tensei (the fat kid prince who kidnpanned Rudy thinking he could lure Roxy to his castle) and in here he sounds exactly like Pax

im anime only so this is just a prediction but im guessing the body is jesus? they showed him in episode 7 and maybe the joseph dude took his body, also gyro said the corpse may be more than a saint. either that or maybe joseph scattered his own body parts.

the sbr anime is split into cours. stage 1 was literally just 1 episode in march, stage 2+3 is now which will be episodes 2-12 (this was episode 8), then we will have to wait again for what I'd guess is stage 4+5 most likely around june/july time. if there is 2 stages per cour and a 6 month wait between cours then it will take a while before we finish sbr

Just to clarify a bit more how Johnny figured the goal for the terrorists (well, atleast the current enemy that was attacking them), was the *order* of targets: 1. Gyro, because it was presumed that he had the corpse part 2. Gyro's horse and gear, since if he wasn't carrying the corpse part himself, it must be with his gear 3. Johnny's horse & gear, since Gyro didn't have anything on him, the corpse has to be with him instead 4. Lastly Johnny himself, since his gear didn't have anything The clue here is that if the enemy wanted to just get rid of Gyro and Johnny, after getting Gyro they should've targeted Johnny directly afterwards. Since they went after the gear first, it was clear that they were searching for *something,* and since the attack still continued afterwards, Johnny must've had something what they wanted. That's just my conclusion, I'm not saying that it's credible. Might or might not be a stretch. It always felt kinda weird that the first thing Gyro & Johnny realize is that it is specifically a terrorist that is attacking them, and not just a random competitor. They didn't even know who Stroheim was in episode 6, but they instantly put him alongside other enemies and not just a rogue rider. And yes, the Prez talked about "believing that the words are actually a clue to something", because his corpse part also gave him letters (on the right side of his chest in the heart scene).

This is when is gets interesting. SBR started printing in Seinen Jump instead of Weekly Shounen Jump so the art and ideas are more interesting from here on since it was monthly and the violence is definitely picked up.

About the LENGTH of this part: Out of all the anime(!) parts SO FAR, Steel Ball Run has the most manga(!) pages (4,290), so one could assume it will also get more episodes than any other part up to this point. (For comparison, part 4 is the 2nd longest (so far!) with 3,476 manga pages/39 episodes (part 8 will be even longer with 4,741 pages))

That's a weird thing to say. If something happens later that gives more information about it, then you are giving a spoiler, which is extremely rude. If nothing happens (which could be a spoiler by itself, but not as bad), then my assumption is as good as yours and you being a manga reader is irrelevant

I do think it has to be the corpse of Jesus but it's weird that there has been no spoilers of it being the corpse of Jesus despite the amount of Jojo fans that have read the manga and even if I avoid manga spoilers, spoilers like that are unavoidable.. also it's so weird hearing my name in an anime considering it's a Hispanic name
