CAMERAS & DESKTOP UI

These were the first experiments with Aeternum Studio from back in February. I was just experimenting at the time, made this mostly for fun and to relax. The first part, with the pink placeholder model, worked in VAM too. I had Unity set up for VAM at the time. Later I moved on to the latest Unity version and built there the other things you've seen.

The UI here had 9 camera angles (the sphere webcams around the room). Cameras tracked the model slightly, to try to keep them in view better. The "A" button was meant for automatic/cinematic mode, with camera angles changing on their own.

There were also 3 view modes, with different sizes for the model cam. For this view for example with a large cam:

the plan was to have something like a chat (npc bots chat) to the right of the screen with some mini-games embedded in it and some buttons or features to interact with models, like with adult cams.

MODEL POSING

The last part of the video was after I moved to newer Unity and started experimenting with models and posing. That model in the video was the original simpler model, not the Genesis9 model that I added later. The posing system was very basic, nothing fancy. Basic as in unrealistic, not like VAM. VAM is AAA quality for posing. It's easy to miss it because it just feels natural and right, but there's a lot of work put into making models look anatomically correct when moved around. I didn't get to work on posing too much but this system did work fine in the most basic way, and it worked in VR too.
