MAPS

I played a lot recently with big maps assets for Fraemework and that got me very curious to how big they can be and how vam assets are made. I always thought the coolest thing in vam would be to have a small town connecting different interior locations, something like a skyrim town. With a bit of life, some procedural stuff going on, day-night cycle I think that would be amazing.

I didn't think it was feasible in VAM or that I'd figure out how to do it myself. I had some stabs at it when I started earlier this year but I tried to do it trough VaM, using atoms & lots of assets and that's impossible to manage. But it turns out Unity makes sense for me and I might be able to do it by making my own assets.

In the video this is a very quick & very ugly map I put together to test the assetbundle making process and the map size. All went smoothly and I'm very excited at the possibilities!

ASSETS

I did a few tests with smaller objects & other resources and they look good. I'll start posting assets as rewards to thank you all for supporting me and to encourage others to join and help me make more. The first ones I'll post will likely be a bathtub, a chandelier and a bookshelf because I looked for them myself so many times. If you guys have any requests, some asset you wanted in vam and never could find, let me know here or DM and I'll give it a look.
