It was bothering me, so I changed the pitch on "Poetry" to match "-phorically." Please let me know if you like this change.
White Crystal, v25A, Draft_03, M_01.wav — Melody C, Mastered without headroom. Removed tail and a small sound only I noticed at the beginning. "Metaphorically" and "Poetry" are at the same pitch now.Sep 23
UPDATE! It's done! TWO YEARS, NEARLY, I SWEAR. IT'S DONE.
Right, so I have two different versions. There are melodic differences that are not a subtle, and neither is the master. So there's four variables, here, what with Melody A and Melody B, then mastering with headroom and mastering without it. My personal favorite is the loud one that drowns out the thoughts, which it's headlining this post.

Removed tail and a small sound only I noticed at the beginningWhite Crystal, v25A, Draft_01, M_01.wav — Melody A, Mastered without headroom. It also has a longer tail than the next one.White Crystal, v25A, M_02.wav — Melody B, Mastered with headroomI've been working on this song for a couple years now. First wrote it when I was going through some shit that ended with me quitting four drugs at once. Like sort of; you write a song, then leave it alone. Come back a few months later with new perspective and it gets new meaning.
I guess in the end, we're all one closed strait of hormuz from a crisis, aren't we.
