The Hype

The Goku vs Piccolo Daimao fight is like the precursor to the Gohan vs Perfect Cell fight. I mean think about it. Goku beat Piccolo's henchman in one hit to the head, Goku overpowers Piccolo until he powers up, then Goku gets one of his limbs wounded, but Goku can still keep fighting. They literally borrowed a lot of aspects from this fight to the Cell Games. The most interesting parts was how Goku was able to improv his temporary diability by using the Nyoibo as a crutch, then having Tenshinhan fly Goku up to avoid Piccolo's Bakurikimaha, and lastly Goku uses the Kinto Un to get back up after the second Bakurikimaha.

The Hype

By the way what the hell does Yamcha think he's gonna do to help? I mean the guy literally has done almost nothing the whole show, and couldn't even stand up to Tenshinhan. Yet he thinks he can fight Piccolo? Yeah not gonna happen. I mean I feel really bad for him, since the guy has nothing to work with. Yamcha hasn't really been relevant, since the 21st Tenkaichi Budokai, and I wish he could be more useful. He's trying the best that he can, but it's silly. Who honestly believes that Yamcha with the help of Bulma and Launch with guns think they can stand up to Piccolo?

Rewatching this now, I have to think how Goku was at its peak during this battle. He did it all. DBZ and DBS has been mostly powering ups and transformations but; he did so many techniques during original DB that I had forgotten.
