EPIC EPISODE! LONG RANT AT THE END!

FOR ALL WHO DECIDE TO JOIN US, THE DBZ RE-REACTION WILL BE EPIC!

Comments

Uli

By far one of the most iconic images in all of Dragon Ball is Goku charging at King Piccolo with the Oozaru in the background with that roar. It still gives me goosebumps all these years later

SSG2PRO

It's kinda important that Tien survived the fight against King Piccolo. Making the events Saiyan Saga more impactful when the Z-fighters fall against Nappa and Vegeta.

I'm happy you guys this up before I want to bed. I haven't seen DB around EP. 115 and only saw "shorts" of the battle of the end. I wanted to watch DB for so long but never got around to doing it. But since you guys are watching it I was like it is time. Thanks for all things nice videos.

And of course I wish you could upload 7 days a week lol. I know that not possible but only a wish. Thanks again for you hard work of getting the videos for all of us to watch for the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time.

raz1337

There was extra backstory about King Piccolo that was told to you in DBZ 137 but it was probably so long ago that you forgot. It's hard to figure out what's a spoiler and what isn't since a lot of stuff is re-told in Z haha

scott osborne

fyi that was not the dragon fist/punch that was the ape punch Goku first used the Dragon Fist in Dragon Ball Z: Wrath of the Dragon as Super Saiyan 3, against Hirudegarn

The Hype

Well looks like Goku finally defeated Piccolo Daimao. A feat thought impossible by many. Piccolo's final plot is to have one last henchman who will surpass Goku's strength and rule the world. Little does he know that the henchman he just spat out will one day be one of Goku's closest friends, and become a second father to Goku's son, Gohan.

Yajirobe going back and forth is hilarious, I'm glad he was there to help Goku,

Cant wait for you and Madison to finish this awesome series! I have so much love for this show, and like many others watches this after Z. But you Baris make so many vague and ambiguous "life problems" that your schedule changes on the fly waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much. I used to say your BS is over 9000! You've now shown me what it's like TO GO EVEN FURHTER BEYOND with it! Once you yall finish the show I will no longer be apart of your "TEEM"

matt javier

I love this next arc thats coming up

Littlepip

Your conversation at the end was very well said! Especially about it being "Akira Toriyama's story" which is why in the manga there is no Z! It's just called "Dragonball", from Kid Goku all the way up to the end of the Buu Saga! It's all meant to be told as one entire cohesive story!! It's connected and calls back to older themes even as Goku got older which was intentional! So I truly believe people are doing a disservice to themselves by never giving the original anime series a chance! There's still plenty more Dragonball to enjoy so I'm looking forward to you guys finishing the series and hearing your insights of the series as a whole maybe even ranking the different arcs too in your own way!!

Colton Chandler

If King Piccolo didn’t spit out that egg Kami would’ve died with him.

Alen X

Yep it was the first time Goku used a bend kamehameha

NOMMY

10/10 arc… the next one is 11/10!!!

Denilson Garcia

I hope yall watch Z Kai next because the dub is faithful to the original anime translation, manga and no fillers.

You know how hard it is to upload videos daily while still mantaining a life outside of this? Work..hurricanes…family…but if you want to leave at the end..then stop complaining because you’re choosing to stay until then :)

Dorian Espinoza

Baris you keep on saying you're surprised that Tien lived then you must have forgotten in Z where they mention that he and Yamcha had only died once by the Saiyans when they were going to get revived. Also Madison has seen that Oozaru fist scene, it literally plays a bunch of times in flashbacks in Z

Your comment completely aligns with my thoughts during the post episode discussion! :)) Listen to 19:12 onwards!

Yep I also mentioned how he and Madison saw that Oozaru fist before in a number of flashbacks in DBZ

Honestly, I was surprised people had the discipline to not point it out in the comments. Watching them expecting Tien to die any moment now was more entertaining for sure :P

BLESSEDTON27

You guys saw goku moving the Kamehameha wave around in the battle with Raditz and when he was training at 100 times gravity on the ship heading towards Namek. It was so long ago you forgot.

Allan Batista

The next arc is by far my favorite...my favorite episode of DB is coming up soon it's the beginning of the next martial arts tournament ino u guys are gonna love that episode can't wait till u get there.

Douglas Murray

To grant a wish to anyone who grew up watching DBZ with the original Japanese/Kikuchi score, this time when you guys do the re-reaction to DBZ, could you please give Kikuchi score a try since you already watched DBZ with Bruce Faulconer score?! It would be a huge missed opportunity to listen to the same score twice. Watching it with a different score will give you a newer experience while still revisiting the show once again. Like watching the show from a different perspective, to feel their version of nostalgia of DBZ's fan across the globe outside of America. To me and many globally, the Prologue theme (Recap theme at the beginning of each episode) of the Buu Saga is always a legendary soundtrack. It gives so much nostalgia and motivation.

Elekipito

any consideration on watching Kai instead of DBZ again?

TheSkyBreaker

You know what’s crazy? I just saw this on tiktok but Goku’s gi was torn up after his fight with Tien. Krillin gave him his own gi right before he died. Goku had Krillin’s gi on this entire saga and avenged him while wearing his clothes.🤯

Frank

Where 123?

CountChopulla

If he likes all of the different Kamehameha wait until the next arc….

Cassian

Gohan loses 1 arm against Cell: "I have lost" Goku loses all limbs except 1 arm against King Piccolo: "I still have one arm left" This is why original DB fans always know that Goku is the ultimate fighter. It is not about talent or pure power. But the mentality.

MrDragonflair

In Japan, there was no 'Z' Manga, it was 'Dragonball' from goku as a kid meeting Bulma, all the way to the defeat of Buu. It was split into 2 different series outside of Japan

oscar rosen

you should definately watch the filler episodes inbetween this and the next saga, hiighly recommend!

Javi alias Killua alias Hiei

If you want a different experience, I'd watch DB and DBZ in Japanese. The soundtrack is the best by far and many plot holes caused by the dub disappear. Nowadays, it would be unthinkable to change an anime's soundtrack or make up so much dialogue while doing a translation. Piccolo just mentioned that he has fought people all over the universe but later in DBZ he's surprised when he learns that he's from Namek. It doesn't make any fucking sense!

The Piccolo we know from DBZ doesn't debut until Episode 123, so you have no idea what you're talking about tbh. Also, Funimation dub is king.
