Beerus is mostly scared zeno will erase him, he will definitely not risk it going to another timeline. Its one thing if some mortals do it, but seems destroyers are like subordinates who have zenos gaze on them, no way he will dare to do this. What if he erases the whole universe like he did with some others?

Goku Black used the Time Ring, which is the only allowed method of time travel. Zamasu is not a destroyer god, he is a Supreme Kai, the rules are different. That's why Supreme Kai can use the Time Rings. And thats why Goku Black used his to cross dimensions. Destroyers are not allowed to time travel at all in any shape or form. If they do, they could very well rip reality apart. No one is willing to find out with Destroyers. The rules are different with the Kais. And the Invincible Zamasu didn't time travel at all. He's just the Zamasu of Trunks' reality. Whis' kind have rules too, though theirs are more straightforward and very costly.

Regardless what the people who dislike everything about super, was a cool rage moment and happy trunks got the buff outa nowhere. He’s a future version that can’t hold his own due to the lack of mentors and training partners so nice to see them do justice for him. If people choose to focus on the bad then they kinda deserve not to enjoy this series because there’s plenty of good to focus on. I’m happy I could enjoy super as much as I do😂

Just for clarification: It is called the "Evil containment wave" in the dub but it wasn't named that because it could only seal away evil. It was designed by good guys for the PURPOSE of sealing away an evil being but it's never been said that it CAN'T be used on people who are good too. In fact in Dragon Ball Piccolo reversed the move on Kami and sealed him away with it.

Frankly it was unnecessary... if you guys haven’t read the manga version of the black arc you’ll see why. I don’t get why the animation has to deviate so heavily lol. The manga was far less cheesy with ass pulls compared to the anime.

Trunks power here frankly is a weird anime ass pull. In the manga his mastered ssj2 is on par with Goku’s ssj3 and Goku had to go into God form to beat Trunks so the scaling in the anime has been messed up the whole time. Also Vegeta makes a complete mockery of Black until Black finally rages out and unlocks Rosé. Then Vegeta comes back with a new strategy and makes a mockery of Rosé using super saiyan god surprising everyone with a little bonus technique incorporated with it. Frankly it’s a much better rendition of this arc and more fluid but the anime is still fun to watch. Vegeta nearly ends the arc himself as he’s about to actually kill Black but then the other Zamasu comes in and saves him at the last minute.

Yeah the Super Saiyan Rage transformation didn’t make sense, I think the most logical explanation is what baris said that he experienced a lil bit of god ki I think that makes more sense tbh.

In the manga when goku and trucks fight goku struggles to beat trunks in super saiyan 3 it’s takes the red form to beat him in regards to his new form trunks has been exposed to god ki from first training with the supreme Kai and from training with vegeta it’s only natural he would learn it himself after being exposed to it

ITs called Super Sayain Rage. This is the starting point of each Saiyan being distinct from eachother in power levels and forms. The manga and Anime has given Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan all vastly different forms and levels. Some internal producers hated Super Sayain because it dictated their individual stories in some ways.

That's unfortunate DBS is so much more meaningful to watch with the context of OG Dragon Ball. You both really missed out on a lot of character development and moments that are referenced throughout. DBS's tone is really a combination of both DB and DBZ.

I don't get why they made zamasu stronger, being inmoral doesn't give you more strength, in the manga he's still weak, goku even told him he was weaker than trunks.

He isn’t if you watch every time he fought Goku Black he doesn’t damage him at all. Even at the end Zamasu was weakened due to fighting V. And still doesn’t do damage until absorbing Goku and Vegeta’s energy.

True the scene in 94 with Goku doing the same moves he fought grandpa Gohan with in original db was amazing. Super does a great job of bringing both og and Z together which is one of MANY reasons why I’ll always say it’s the better sequel

That's what the fandom's thought was on what Super Saiyan Rage is, but no. All it is, is just Future Trunks getting pissed and unlocking a random ass transformation that's somehow just exclusive to him which going by the consistent/constant feats shown isn't that strong. Implied to be even weaker than SSJ3 which they should have just given him since he was ALREADY Blue level in just his SSJ2 form (yeah I know the Power Scaling is dumb but it is what it is) and never knew of SSJ3 until Goku showed him. And plus, if it was just SSJ2 mixed with God Ki then it'd just be Super Saiyan Blue 2 (SSGSS2). This is why it's considered one of the dumbest forms ever made because they didn't explain not a damn thing... SSB > SSG > SSJ3 >=< SSJ Rage > SSJ2

This isn’t the manga so comparing the two will always have you disliking one. It’s like marvel movies with comics, you just have to accept that they’re completely different in how things are written, they draw inspirations from eachother and a lot of main things are kept someone similar but will never be as perfect as people who constantly refer to the mangas liking

I would say he hasn't had time to train his body yet to sustain the strain and not cripple himself afterwards; I'm sure a writer somewhere came up with the excuse why he didn't/couldn't use it in these battles until later....or they forgot about it until closer to the end of the arc and sprinkle it in for fun. lol

Wow the evil containment wave?!? I haven't watched Dragonball in a good minute but boy does that take me back. I love how often DBS references and makes use of past events in the story.

The accepted name for this transformation is Super Saiyan Rage, i believe its somewhere close to SSG simply because trunks muscles get smaller like gokus did when he went SSG, however both gohan and trunks have there own forms that supposedly keeps up with god and blue, i think they are different because gohan and trunks arent full saiyan and their earthling DNA changes what forms their particular path has in store for them, however this is just my opinion or observation

great reaction as always, but this is where the saga goes off the rails unfortunately, SSRage Trunks' power makes no sense, it's horrifically bad writing, can't wait to get past these next few brutal episodes to get back to the good stuff
