Yo Baris, that's what the fandom's thought was on what Super Saiyan Rage is, but no. All it is, is just Future Trunks getting pissed and unlocking a random ass transformation that's somehow just exclusive to him which going by the consistent/constant feats shown isn't that strong. Implied to be even weaker than SSJ3 which they should have just given him since he was ALREADY Blue level in just his SSJ2 form (yeah I know the Power Scaling is dumb but it is what it is) and never knew of SSJ3 until Goku showed him. And plus, if it was just SSJ2 mixed with God Ki then it'd just be Super Saiyan Blue 2 (SSGSS2). This is why it's considered one of the dumbest forms ever made because they didn't explain not a damn thing... SSB > SSG > SSJ3 >=< SSJ Rage > SSJ2

This is my favorite Vegeta moment across all of the shows. Everything about Goku Black and how he came to be is an affront to Vegeta and his Saiyan pride. The way Zamasu did not work for the power he wields in a Saiyan body frustrates him and he gets this amazing moment to get some vengeance for it. The writing and the angelic God music they play ties it all together so well. Normally I miss the Faulconer music, but the angelic track they play in this and other scenes hits different.

Yeah this form doesn't exist in the manga either. Trunks' mastered SSJ2 powerup essentially matched ssj3 in the sparring match and Goku had to dip into God power to knock him out, so trunks didn't really need a new form. He just fought his ass off as best he could lol. The anime does a lot of weird ass-pully stuff.

Shit in the manga, Vegeta nearly ends the Black arc himself. I feel like the anime robbed him of that, debuting his mastery of super saiyan god and flicking into blue mid attack showing a mastery of energy conservation. It isn't until post Vegeto that he hands the floor to Goku lol.

I love how when an epic moment is coming up I look at the Baris and I see him looking right at me like saying "It's about to get crazy" Vegeta really is carrying the whole DBS series I loved him in Z but after super he became my no 1. favorite in whole franchise even if Goku is still getting all the wins and spotlight.

To make this a truly perfect arc, this should have been the final moment of Goku Black. Vegeta should have been the one who gets to KILL him in the next episode using this epic moment and momentum. And the invincible Zamasu could have been sealed in that jar or whatever. But noo, the writers wanted to show the viewers how Zeno erases universe/multiverse as a reference to the next arc. Sigh...

I get what you're saying, I personally really like Super, but I have to admit if it wasn't for Vegeta this series for me would be much harder to watch. That's why I don't really like GT, as Vegeta is not present for most of it and is so much weaker than Goku. Also at the end of GT, Vegeta gained power from a machine to become Ss4, which he would never do. I think at this point Vegeta is very important to the Dragonball franchise in general as he brings something quite unique to the show.

Baris, I have to say, as much as I enjoy Madisons' reactions to this. Seeing you get to relive it is amazing. I just got my neice and nephew onto Dragonball, and I don't even watch the screen, just their reactions! Also I agree, Vegata is such a winner for me and definitely my favourite character in Super, actually Z too. Correct me if I'm wrong also, but this is your first time watching Super with the English Dub? So your getting to experience Schemmel and Sabat for the first time in this series! Just how good are the voices, those screams! Side note, the English voice for Zamasu is perfect, exactly what I imagined when I watched Super through in Japanese and was waiting to rewatch with my childhood voice actors in English.

Vegeta’s speech was sick! It’s crazy how much character development he’s had but he remains a total badass. He has such pride in himself and the Saiyan race but now there’s no evil intentions behind it, instead Vegeta uses this pride as a source of strength.

Vegeta speeches don’t hit in super idk why, I think it’s the dialogue. Instead of “I’m the real deal” he should’ve said something like “I’m a real saiyan”
