Sorry for the delay on this update folks. I was meaning to send it out on Friday, but then the weekend happened :)

So as mentioned in the last update, I'm trying to squirrel away 3 weeks on that DayZ side project. And so, last week and a bit of this week, I've gone back to the Intro chapter hoping to produce a final version for you.

The feedback I got from you all was excellent, thank you. Very helpful. I'm currently working through it to fix the following

 - Revoice to make it sound less like a robot librarian reading a script.

 - Fix the music. I've consistently made it too loud. Sorry about that.

 - Explain why I'm doing this. What the point of the video is. That wasn't all that clear.

 - Address complaints that I'm analysing something early access by sharing my thoughts on early access from the perspective of my previous career in software QA. The do's and don'ts

Almost all of the audio is done now. I'm now working on the visual parts. And I'm hoping to have it ready for you on Wednesday.

Then I'll move that fresh chapter  Chapter 4 - Internal and external PVE threats.

So, a tad behind shedule tbh.  I'll try and catch up as best I can.

Dont mind by asking, but what kind of programming languages did you know as your career in software development?

That looks like a lot of yummy content for my hungry eyes and ears; I wouldn't worry too much about lagging behind, your streams are fairly good entertainment between videos. I'm sorry for my ignorance, but what would "automated testing software" actually test? In my head software does something specific, like "click this then this then this and then repeat about a million times" but I don't see how that would reveal all that many bugs. Then again, I don't know what sort of software your old employer worked on. Or maybe it was like a superintelligent AI that would use the software in numerous different ways and recognize bugs and you're like a super hacker that could program Skynet and bring about the apocalypse only being held back by the income and support of your patreons and if we should ever stop supporting you you will go y2k firesale on all our asses. I'm inclined to believe the latter. Brb raising my patreon pledge.

My 18 Year Old Brother With Down Syndrome Found Out For A Fact That, No. Robotic Vacuums Do NOT float. They Swim Along The Bottom Of Bathtubs. Now My 19 Year Old Ass Is Gonna Have To Do The Vacuuming. But Womble Posted A Patreon Update Which Is Nice.

It's a really good and well written out discussion on the issue. I've felt the same way with a lot of games. *cough*Ark*cough* I've had the problem with shrugging things off because it's early access, but it's fun. Factorio, Rimworld, Kerbal, those games felt great and only got better with the updates. Other games just felt like, "We have your money, now here's something tiny with this patch."
