Hi all,

First off, thank you so much to everyone who picked up Great Power and No Responsibilities, and thank you to everyone who still plans it!

Now, a small admission of a goof, an apology, and a fix: at the risk of spoilers, it turns out I made a few editing & revision errors in Chapter Nine. An early reader pointed out the discrepancy (thanks again). To limit the spoilers, Chapter Nine has a "we've met before" moment that wasn't part of the original drafts. I goofed and left a couple lines of "never met" text in after the revisions. If you hit whiplash there, that's why.

The sad truth is I screw up sometimes. I thought I had this all fixed. It went through a professional editor, who also thought it was fixed. I'm pretty sure I hit a version error with this chapter.

So! I have uploaded a corrected version to Amazon just now, and it should be live tomorrow. The error only shows up in a couple lines of text, so it's not a huge revision. I don't think I can get Amazon to "push" an update to books that have already downloaded (it's probably not a significant enough change and the push process is labyrinthine), but I'm pretty sure it will be corrected eventually on your ebook files.

The paperback is currently locked, but as soon as it unlocks on Sunday I'll put in the fix.

I'm not gonna run around everywhere and wave the "I Goofed" flag, but as this Patreon probably holds a majority of my day-one downloaders, I thought this was a good place to speak up.

Thank you all!

Just incase you don't hear it enough... I'm a big fan of your work. Goofs and all! Peace man and happy Friday!

Great treat for the weekend. Hope this does well enough for audiobook consideration

Somewhat ironically this message was the first time I learned it was available (I saw the pre-order news but my brain just automatically discards the date involved, probably because most pre-orders are months away or something)

And for all people who discover something like this while reading: never ever *never* report these things as errors to Amazon. They'll pull the book and put the publisher/author into the crapper on getting it up again.

Bought it as soon as I got the Amazon e-mail. Finished just a few minutes ago. Loved it! Love them all. Thanks, Elliott!

Not sure where exactly to put this and it’s very late but: I really dug GPNO, it’s a really delightful hang out story of people who are stuck in one way or another, deciding to do something different. And, from a craft perspective it was really interesting reading it next to “Alien Vacation”. I miss some of the wildness of AV but GPNO is a much better story, and really showcases the importance of editing. In particular, introducing Xinn to Kyle’s partners earlier makes a big difference.

Also, I know you were hesitant to share your second literotica account, but I’m glad you did, if only so that I can say that that “divine job benefits” is really, really great and I hope you’re able to continue it in some form. (not to add too much to your plate)

I actually missed this at the time. Heh, I was like why does this plot seem so fam.... oh. Going to be interesting to see how much changed. (Like days of high adventure)
