Story Post: Hard Restart, Chapter One (Patreon)

Trying something a little new this month. New story, new setting, obviously, but also a new approach. Instead of the usual short story, may I offer up chapter one of the new thing I'm working on?

And with it, would you let me know if you'd like more as it develops?

I fully plan to continue the usual Good Intentions, Poor Man's Fight, and Wandering Monsters short stories here, too. They aren't going away. But let me know if you want more of this in the mix?
