Admittedly, this isn't gonna be a tightly-kept secret for long. I'll post this more widely any day now, but I figure it definitely has to go up here for my Patreon supporters first.

For a more in-depth update, the state of the novel as such is that I'm 84% through my final revision pass, cover art is in hand, and I have sent off the pitch to Audible for an audio version. To be clear, I do not know how Audible will feel about things; it's been a while since we've done a book together, and I take nothing for granted. However, all the previous novels in the series have done well, so I have hopes.

That said, I need to publish this book SOON for pretty straightforward financial reasons. Audiobooks don't get done in a couple weeks, so I'm planning to publish ebook & paperback ASAP and any potential audio version will come out whenever it's done. (This has been the pattern for almost all my books.)

The only task left now is to get printed proof copies of the paperback to make sure they look okay once out of the printer. Color adjustments are often necessary for the cover, and the turnaround on that and new proofs can take a few days for each round. I plan to get that going this coming week.

So... my ballpark for release is early October. How early? As early as I can!
