Weekly Update (Patreon)

Greetings, shinobi!

Today I’ve got some good news and some bad news.

Let's start with the bad news. There were only two scenes left to finish for the update, and the artist had already completed about half of the first one - you can actually see part of that work on the cover of this post.

Unfortunately, some unexpected real-life circumstances came up, so he won’t be able to finish the remaining artwork until September.

But I already promised that the update would release in the second half of August, and I don’t want to delay the entire update because of one final training scene. So for now, that training will have to be temporarily removed from this version. It’s not going anywhere, though - it will return in the next update.

Now for the good news: this means that all the artwork needed for the current update is finished!

The translation is also complete. Right now I’m proofreading it - going through the text, fixing mistakes and awkward phrasing. Once that’s done, I’ll add it to the game.

As for what’s left:

finish setting up character expressions - most of them are already done;

add sound effects to the scenes;

set up the music;

and, finally, fully test the update.

So we’ve really entered the final stage of development now.

Сегодня у меня для вас две новости - одна плохая и одна хорошая.

Начнём с плохой. Для обновления оставалось закончить всего две сцены, и художник уже успел сделать примерно половину первой из них - как раз часть этой работы вы можете увидеть на обложке поста.

К сожалению, у него возникли неприятные обстоятельства в реальной жизни, поэтому закончить оставшиеся арты он сможет только в сентябре.

Но я уже обещал, что обновление выйдет во второй половине августа, и переносить его целиком из-за одной последней тренировки не хочется. Поэтому эту тренировку придётся временно убрать из текущей версии. Она никуда не пропадёт и вернётся уже в следующем обновлении.

А теперь хорошая новость: это значит, что все арты для текущего обновления уже готовы!

Перевод тоже завершён. Сейчас я занимаюсь пруфридингом - прохожусь по переводу, исправляю ошибки и неудачные формулировки. Как только закончу, добавлю его в игру.

Из оставшейся работы:

закончить расставлять эмоции персонажей - большая часть уже готова;

добавить звуки к сценам;

расставить музыку;

и, наконец, полностью протестировать обновление.

Так что мы уже действительно вышли на финальный этап разработки.
