2 questions. I feel like my players almost always never use the treasure I give them. Before I ask them. What should I do about this? What could my players spend all this gold on? It feels like a lot

Jacob Vardy

Something that works for me was switching to silver. Every time treasure is awarded instead of gold coins give the same number of silver coins. But keep the prices of everything the same.

Jacob Vardy

Also point out how much spending power the coins have. In game you get two silver for a day's labour. So one silver is about four times your local minimum wage. One gold is about 40x the minimum wage. For me, that's about $A950

Just a thought. If you like math, and allow for the value of tier 1 treasure to drift up to 500gp (instead of 400 gp) you can calculate tier value as (6-Tier) * 10^(Tier+1) (OK, maybe nobody else likes math that much) . . .

I'm not sure if you did this or not but I noticed YTM as an app option for listening. Thanks! That's my default.
