For rep announcement: I’ve always felt that the eras tour wasn’t the place for it. She’s in this amazing unbelievable positive part of her career which is just so deeply NOT rep. I obv don’t think she needs to be in a bad place or have people hating on her, but I always felt it would make more sense for her to do it at a bit of a quieter time instead of on a gigantic stage in front of millions of people

Girls, I’m a 30-year-old woman dealing with social anxiety. I’ve been a Swiftie since 2009, when I was first introduced to Taylor through the Hannah Montana movie. Back then, in my country, Mexico, Taylor wasn’t very popular, and finding someone who liked her—or even knew who she was—was nearly impossible, especially given the social and economic context in which I grew up. As the years went by, her fame and popularity grew, just like my shyness, so it was still really hard for me to talk to anyone about something so magical that brought so much joy to my life during its worst moments. I’m writing this even though every muscle in my fingers is telling me not to, even though my mind says someone might make fun of it, and even though I’m sure I’ve made some grammatical mistakes—I apologize in advance for that (English isn’t my native language, and you might guess it’s hard for me to practice it by speaking with others). But this feels —like the perfect time ;)— to thank you for all the content you create for us. I found you on YouTube because of your reaction to All Too Well, and since then, I’ve been devouring every piece of content you make. I just want to thank you because I consume a lot of Swiftie content, both in Spanish and English, and—though it’s kind of weird to say because I don’t actually know you—I really appreciate you girls. You’re the best of the best. You have something special because, even though it’s just through a camera and I’ve never interacted with you—not even by leaving a comment on YouTube—you feel like the friends I’ve always wanted. Thank you for your coverage of the tour/surprise songs! I'm a fairly new member but I love you and appreciate you guys. Can't wait to see what shenanigans you come up with next! Now I haven't watched yet so I'm curious to see whether you feel the same. But to me, and regardless of lack of announcement (I personally don't mind it and think it wouldn't have been a good idea), the show felt a little underwhelming. I don't know how to explain it, but I expected at least a surprise guest or Long Live on the regular set list again or SOMETHING. Taylor also looked and sounded absolutely exhausted for these last shows, especially the last one (which is not a surprise of course). It was like she was ready to close this chapter a while ago and I can't blame her. She had probably even said goodbye to the tour in her own way and, in many ways, I think this is sadder for us than her. I have a feeling she's not gonna tour for a while after this. But she is unpredictable so who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️ Also, a lot of people seem to have hated the guitar mashup but I loved it lol, though the piano one was of course superior. Edit: I'm so happy you liked both mashups! Maybe it was just me whi felt something was off about Taylor but you made some great points about 1. Why she didn't announce anything or do something different and 2. Why she was more visibly sad at the end of the European leg. I'm still salty she didn't include Debut on the regular set list but overall the tour was pretty much perfect. Sure, there are a few songs here and there that would've switched up but nothing huge. I think visually my favourite eras are Lover, Midnights and TTPD; set list wise my faves are Lover (would have loved ME! though) and Evermore before the change (still sad about tolerate it 💔). I agree with you on Delicate and I would have switched that with IDSB or Getaway Car. I know it's cheating but vibe wise I just love them all. Lastly Fearless is all about the nostalgia

When Bonny said "I need her to be emotional so that I can be emotional." I felt that haha. I can't BELIEVE Taylor didn't cry during the show!! My cousin and I went to Toronto Night 6 and we were chatting about how our show ALMOST felt like more of a goodbye show than the actual final show. Taylor cried during the champagne problems ovation and she sang You're Losing Me/How Did it End? on piano. I'm not sure if others agree but I'm so happy I got to see her get emotional about the tour ending cuz it means so much to all of us.

This tour has been such a big experience for everyone but as someone who didn't have the opportunity to go see it live, this little place made me so happy and I've kinda lived the eras tour through you going. Every week seeing your joy about the surprise songs just made me so happy in my own life and I don't think you two will ever understand the impact that these little videos have on our lives. I think with the new folkmore dresses she might’ve been going for autumn leaf colours with the red and golden yellow as she kept saying when she merged those eras how folklore for her represents spring & summer and evermore fall & winter so perhaps she wanted those new colours to bring in that autumnal representation. I was there that night and it felt SUPER special and she definitely heard us singing happy birthday. It was the whole crowd singing! It was magical to be the room for that moment after champagne problems. ❤️ the whole venue was also just…on edge. We were holding our breaths for announcements and then after she left we all stood there sort of…in shock? Processing? It was an odd feeling and it felt like we all felt it. Nobody moved to go. We just…stood. After some thought, I do think it was a perfect, beautiful ending. Just let it be what it was and celebrate this monumental tour. I love that.

To me the best version of the eras tour is the one that I got to see. Which I'm so thankful for. Because it included the archer, long live, and TLGAD (which are some of my favorite songs from those eras) and folklore and evermore were two separate eras as well. I think it boils down to the fact that I had never been able to see Taylor on concert before the eras tour but I've been a swiftie since fearless so Ive had many years to wish for all the songs I wanted to hear live. I would've died if long live wasnt on the setlist when I saw the show, you know? I think although I love TTPD, it is still too new so I didnt have time to develop a bond with it like I have with all her other albums.

being a huge football fan myself, watching the SuperBowl is a great idea but that is if the Chiefs make it there which isn't 100%. i think watching one of their playoff games would be better cuz it would be a certain thing that both of you can do cuz they will be in the playoff and if they win all their games can end up going to the Superbowl. right now its still the regular season so the playoff dates and who they're playing against isn't announced yet but in 3-4 weeks everything should be planned

I actually got a bit upset about the Eras Tour ending the other day, this isn’t just some concert or show, or even a great concert or show. The Eras Tour brought more joy to literally every city it went to than I have ever seen, which in todays world of darkness and hatred, is overwhelming and unheard of. It will just be so weird for it to be gone. Even though it’s not the end of you guys making content, I will really, really miss waiting on your surprise song reactions, it was as much a part of the Eras Tour experience as anything else. I love you guys and how you have each other, how Emily will say something so iconic and Bonny will fall about laughing, and smiling with her whole face and everything like that that you do. I was happy to notice that my TLGAD notebook even made it into part of this process for your mashups 😊 It’s funny to look back on things we thought that were wildly incorrect, like I was convinced that she wouldn’t add TTPD to the set list and only do them in surprise songs 😂 I also don’t want her to announce anything at awards shows, tbh I actually don’t like it because that’s not her playground, but the Eras Tour was. Awards shows are for everyone there so it kind of makes it about her. I actually prefer the new 1989 outfits, I think they’re more fun and colourful, and the sparkly, fizzy sweet (like candy bottles) look is great. I also love the mismatched shoes for some reason lol I’ve always found the archer gesture funny, because when Travis does it he kind of just waves his arms upwards but it looks like Taylor practically calculates the actual tension needed to pull a bowstring, it looks so realistic 😂

I want to thank you both so much for doing this. I was in Vancouver for the weekend and I attended night 2 and watched the last show around some people that I didn’t know that well because they were there with a friend of mine. Watching it today with you felt so much more safe and encapsulating of how I feel. I literally cried for 2 hours straight… I keep trying to tell people that this feels like a breakup, but your words at the end about excitement for the unknown that Taylor could do in the future made me feel better. Long Live the Eras Tour. P.S. the champagne problems cheer on N2 was the most incredible part of the show and I felt at ease knowing I was in the crowd that gave that moment to Taylor. I’ve been really reflecting on this last weekend’s surprise songs and Taylor’s headspace in choosing them. I think they really show how important Taylor’s people are to her, and reflect how she’s viewing her life and career in this moment - NOT just how she feels about us as the fandom (which is why we were more surprised and confused by a lot of them). N1 Haunted/Wonderland - honestly not sure about this first one other than the Canadian ‘eh’ thing. Never Grow Up/The Best Day - tribute to her family who have been there from the beginning N2 Gracie mashup - in the speech before she brought Gracie up she talked very fondly about how cozy it feels for her to have a guest with her that feels like family, so my sense is she wanted to have someone with her one last time so SHE could experience that TTPD/Maroon - one last ‘tribute’ to the unhinged messy love affair that exploded the first year of this tour and lead to an entire new album/era. The way she grimaces in a funny way singing the TTPD bridge, especially right after “everyone knows why it’s meant to be”, she pulls this hilarious “yikes” face and then just sings “craaaazy”. It feels like a closure of that chapter, that she can bring hindsight and humour to a really chaotic and heartbreaking moment (after all the buildup!!) with Matty Healey. N3 A Place in this World/New Romantics - in some ways APITW is the original YOYOK, and I wonder if Taylor was thinking about how from the start she’s just been this girl trying to find her way. And then in New Romantics she’s exploring how it feels being on this tour with her fellow cast and crew really being her New Romantics squad of this era, where she’s not alone anymore and can withstand the bricks they continue to throw at her. Long Live x NYD x Manuscript- this is finally the one for the fans. Maybe we thought all these last songs would/should be for us but I think it makes total sense that first she gave tribute to the people close to her, and then saved this finale for us. And what a beautiful one it was!!

Another thing I have recently fathomed is that each surprise song she played (besides the Debut and Rep song) were from eras that happened within this tour. Long live-Speak Now TV, New Romantics-1989 TV, and then The Manuscript-TTPD. I think part of the reason for spreading out the filming over 3 days was so the cameras could stagger when they're on the stage, so that one concert isn't ruined with cameras following her the whole show. I'm kinda surprised they didn't put on a separate show for the cameras without the crowd so they can get all the close ups, and multiple takes they need without messing with the concert goers experience. it would be easy to splice that footage with the live concert footage.

I'm wondering if Taylor has decided that the perfect concert model is to go out every few albums - instead of after every album. It allows the hype and anticipation to build, but it also gives her space to write and release music at a faster pace. Not to mention leaving room for other projects. I was there the last night and on the floor, trust me when I say she could hear us singing and they even put cards down on the seats at least on the floor and we counted down from 13 after she took out her in ears so that’s why it go a bit quite sounding but the last line was the loudest and she made a face like omg I can’t believe they pulled it off bc she had to have seen posts about it! I also think she didn’t say anything about it because she was filming so again if she had mentioned that we saw happy birthday to her. I think she would’ve lost it and she had to stay on form for the camera which is sort of what I was disappointed as well that they filmed the last night since a lot of us did a lot to get there to see last night since we thought it would be different. I am not complaining since I was very fortunate to go. I just thought there would be a little bit more in terms of changing up of outfits at least or like you said Bonny, a surprise song at the end of each era or I was thinking a mashup of five on the guitar and five on the piano for the first original 10 albums which would’ve been insane but super fun! Anyway, it was fun to watch this as I can’t believe I was there, but also can’t believe it’s over 😭🫶💔

Re: bright colored Folkmore dresses - she introduced them when she combined the folklore and evemore eras. I believe the brighter color is more the "evermore" side of it, given that the silhouette/pattern for the dresses were still very "folklore". It was kind of a way to combine both eras, I feel :)

Regarding the folkmore dress colors - I loved this Berry color the most because she looks so good in it. It brings out the pink in her cheeks and the red lips. The cream and lavender ones really just made her look washed out to me, and the yellow didn't complement her skin tone at all, I thought. The Berry, and Blue and green all made her look stunning.

Thank you guys for everything 💕 I went to N2 & N3 in Vancouver and it could just be where I was in the stadium but N2 the Champagne Problems cheer was so crazy loud and I saw was the 3rd longest of the whole tour. N3 a lot of people around me also sang happy birthday but it sounds like just me in the video 😂 Still joyous and loud but I think we were all just taking in the last night and somewhat mourning the end of the tour. I just got to the part where you guys talk about midnights and I’m always so thankful for the love and respect you give that album!! It’s been my favorite since the moment I heard it. A few years ago there was a Reddit post literally asking if anybody at all had it as their number 1 album and to explain why and I explained it all. The concept, the sounds, the lyrics, the complete whole incredible album that it is (this was even before it won aoty). And my comment got awarded and stuff (I don’t know much about Reddit) but I’ve never had that happen before. I was there VAN N2 as well… you are so RIGHT… the Champagne Problems applause was CRAZY long and intense and went on FOREVER! The whole night was amazing! ✨✨✨ We (my husband and I) drove up from Washington with no tickets but were able to buy directly SWIFTIE TO SWIFTIE right outside the gates lower bowl for $200 each! My Friend who loves all music was at the show, had no idea who Taylor was (no one did). She came to school the next day with Debut in hand; and we all went nuts over it. Our small town - was listening to the album front to back religiously. I was an early Swifty, then I fell off the train (I blame my self for this, not Taylor). I know Debut, Fearless, Speak Now, and Red religiously. It was not till this last year when I found you two, did my love for Taylor get rekindled (watching your reaction to "all to well 10 min version". You sparked this love and joy for Taylor and her music for me again. I have been on a year and half long journey, with you two, myself and Taylor re-fathoming how much Taylor has effect me. even when she was collecting dust on the shelves in my mind, her manuscript was vividly keeping me company. WAIT...MIDNIGHTS IS A TAYLOR SWIFT ALBUM?!?!?!?!? Tell me why this makes so much sense to me hahaha. Like why does TTPD feel like more of a Taylor Swift Album than Midnights? It makes no sense but also perfect sense. Maybe because it was released in the Lavender Haze of 2022 where we were still not fully out of pandemic land? That time just feels like a blur. I respect your takes on it being a “normal show”. I think it’s so self-aware of her to allow it to just be. Nothing else was the headline from the night other than it being the end. Considering how many people were involved in making the tour happen, I think that’s really respectful. All of the write-ups then had to mention the stats of this mammoth undertaking, the number of people who saw it, the bonuses the crew/dancers EARNED, the fact that she blew sales out of the water… If an announcement of anything had happened, those headlines/mentions all go away or get swallowed up. She was fathoming during the show. And the piano mash-up was very special. It’s a kind of evolution to not feel like she’s thinking “I'm still trying everything To keep you looking at me.” She knows we’ll all look, and she’s happy we came, but she’s going home now. (But we’ll still watch our chats and reacts besties and their superior fathoming ♥️♥️♥️)

Silly me for thinking I wouldn't sob for the millionth time watching the surprise song set. You're so right that by giving us this definitive end with no surprises it makes us sit with our emotions and really absorb the end of this tour. Cardiff was my Era’s Tour show 🥰🥰 it feels very special to have been part of 1 of 1. I’ve been lots of times with my fiancé and his family to watch rugby matches but to see the city completely heaving with Swifties was NEXT LEVEL amazing. And to share the experience with my bestie was beyond beautiful. This tour was so so so special. Oh, and Cardiff often hosts big musicians in the stadium and was one of the only places I could actually get/afford tickets so it doesn’t surprise me that she played there at all. It’s an iconic location!

I don't really understand why people keep saying Taylor ruined or butchered the evermore set when she blended them. She took two songs away from folklore and evermore she sings 4 full songs for folklore and 3 full songs for evermore. That's basically the same runtime? Opening night was my local show, and I've felt so blessed to be able to continue to live this tour and learn it since then with lives and your videos! We were SO overwhelmed night 1 because we found out during the opener that it was going to be 3 hours and it was just 3 hours straight of surprise songs. Everyone starting to scream the cruel summer bridge when she stopped us and we didn't know, the DIVE into the stage was WILD when we couldn't see the reap door from the floor seats. The heartbreak to only get one Speak Now song, only to get a bunch of songs I never dreamed of hearing live like Marjorie and TLGAD. Thank you for all your visits and community uplifting and general vibes of this space and your yt channel 💜

Midnights was so special. It feels like a whole universe, but it also feels like a fever dream? Everything about that era feels unique. It was the first proper era in a while but it was so different from lover and everything that came before. It was the first time she ever announced an era at an awards show, she did the whole Midnights Mayhem with me thing, the aesthetic was iconic and she presented it to us in a way that as far I remember felt different from the sound we actually got. On first listen I remember thinking, this isn’t what I expected but I also don’t really know what I expected. Midnight rain is really special to me because it feels like it’s one of the few songs on midnights that sticks to the midnights throughout her life concept. I also think that my perspective on that album changes constantly the more time passes and the more we know about what Taylor was actually going through when she wrote it.

Just started watching but wanted to share an alternative video idea for refathoming secret songs/mash ups - instead of continuing in chronological order, I would love see you guys go through by album and discuss each time she sang/mashed up a song from that album, any relevant context of what was going on in her life at the time, the thematic/lyric similarities that make the mashup offensive, etc. You may be discussing the same performance multiple times for each respective album video, but I feel like you would probably be looking back and discussing other instances of a song being performed regardless. I personally am more interested in the album similarities and choices of songs being repeated in diff mashups rather than the chronological order things happened in. It would also be such a fun video to rewatch when I’m having a moment with a specific album. Just an idea, wonder if that would be more fun for y’all/less repetitive and prevent you from getting burnt out on watching soooo many videos of performances for the second or third time. I think people were clowning too much and that's why it felt jarring to some people for nothing to be announced. For example I didn't want anything to be announced on the last night of the tour. I wanted the last night to be all about the tour and nothing else. I also think we needed a cool down, especially when it comes to clowning and asking for more ALL the time. I watched the live streams and I was emotional but also so happy that the tour ended with Taylor and her team celebrating what an accomplishment it was to finish a tour of this magnitude.

I was at final night: A good portion of the stadium sang happy birthday, but different sections messed up the timing. Some sections got it perfect, including the ones directly next to her stage left, who she heard and smiled at. (Can find on tiktok) The whole night taylor seemed a tiny bit off like she was trying to hold herself back. Like maybe it was too much for her to acknowledge too closely it was the final night, like she needed it to be like any other night. Also highly recommend watching Gracie's last night speech. She had all of us sobbing.

Re: the idea that there will never be another ATW10… I can imagine a world where there is a 10 minute version of a tortured poets song, like so long London, Loml, Smallest man, Daddy I love him…and probably others not coming to mind at the moment. I’m a director level manager at my job, and the way Taylor was at her last show reminded me a lot of how I get when my team has been working under pressure and just nails the deadline and delivers. Ultimately, what they’re working on is what I have conceived as a goal and priority, and I’m very invested and accountable to its success. It’s emotional for me when the end comes and the outcome is everything I’d imagined and hoped for. But I’m well aware that even though it was my idea and my staff were working at my direction, I could not have achieved anything without them. So, when the end comes, I tend to de-center myself from the narrative, take a step back and redirect the accolades to my team as much as possible. Later, in private, is when i take the time to savor my own success. It totally makes sense to me that the last time she let herself be centered in the emotion of the champagne problems ovation was Toronto N6. For Vancouver, she had her boss lady hat on.

So hard to imagine!” And I feel the same way now about life post-Eras Tour. I sobbed through most of this show, knowing that this world we’re in was coming to a close. * I was also sad at first that Taylor wasn’t more emotional in the show. How could she not be crying the way that I was?? Then I remembered that she had already told us that she can do it with a broken heart (and has done so). So of course she can make it through one last show without breaking down. * I couldn’t let myself watch this video until tonight, partly because of how sad I was about the Lover house burning down. * “For the last time, NO”: I was broke and also so happy for a different moment. * LIVE STREAMING: I became a Swiftie because of this tour. I didn’t become a FAN until Midnights was released, but this tour truly made me a Swiftie. Without live streams, I don’t think that would have happened. And without becoming a “new elder Swiftie,” I wouldn’t have found your channel in my search for new info/content. I’m so glad that you were there at that perfect moment for me! * SPEAK NOW/ENCHANTED: I was so so sad to not get Long Live in this set. Of all the things, I really wanted LL. Even though we got it later as a SS, I really wanted it live in its full version. * CHAMPAGNE PROBLEMS: I think Taylor just didn’t understand everything that was happening. I'm here a day or two late to say I am sad that people WANTED HER to cry, instead of reveling in how absolutely PROUD and ACCOMPLISHED she was!! She was SO. PROUD. I have gone back and rewatched your Red TV videos on YT and the ATW 10 reaction has been a rewatch a few times. I feel like it was the ultimate example of Swiftie experiences. Getting the 10 min version after all these years was such an experience - especially since so many of us were still in Covid lockdowns.
