When an American is referring to “Uncle Sam” in modern day, they’re referring to the U.S. government. Love this. Too bad the game was so bad,for you guys to watch your first game. Regarding Drake/Kendrick, the feud is long and deep seated but the battle began with Drake and he dropped a line about Taylor. That probably wasnt the right thing to do, Kendrick responded by getting Jack to produce his response. So Sounwave is Kendrick’s producer, and we know he was on midnights. Jack produced one of Kendrick’s songs in the rap battle with Drake. Sounwave and Jack actually have formed their own group together. So, while Kendrick and Taylor may not be collaborating, they are definitely in the same musical universe with Sounwave and Jack. Kendrick also does Easter eggs, and hidden meanings just like Taylor. He references his other songs and albums and themes, just like Taylor does. You guys missed Serena Williams during the performance. She dated Drake briefly before she got married and he has dissed her in his music, i don’t think he got over it. So, she is from Compton just like Kendrick, so she came out in Blue. And shout out to her for supporting Taylor after she got boo’d.

Hi ladies! I live in KC and of course a die hard Chiefs fan! Just to give you a little background on the reason I believe she was boo'd...When Taylor & Travis started dating, the NFL went absolutely crazy in talking about it (as I think you already know). At the same time, the Chiefs have been winning so much (2 super bowls in a row and playing for the possible 3rd). All NFL fans have a strong hatred for the Chiefs at the moment, hence why they say the refs are helping them win. Everyone in the NFL is tired of the Chiefs and tired of Taylor and Travis (which is ridicuolous). That is why they Boo'd her. Also Philly fans not happy she is cheering for the opposite team.

Exactly! Their brand is their honest off the chest reactions and feelings - they aren’t aware of everything and they work hard to go forward positively. I love the perusal chat they started so if we want them to see something important we can share in learning. I can only imagine as a cis white lady how much I would get wrong reacting to so many different artists. If you aren’t happy with the view they can offer, I think folks here should check out other reaction posters too. Expand your horizons to lgbtq+ and people of colour - take in all you can because there are so many wonderful creators out here doing their best and it’ll help shape our own viewpoints in turn ♥️

As much as I would also love to know their thoughts on this (I mean, it’s looking absolutely awful for Blake and Ryan right now and it’s hurting to see Taylor being associated with it all) but I’d worry they’d get hateful comments if they discussed it right now whilst everything is so supercharged and heated (especially with the comments our girlies have been getting lately). Re: The Grammys vid - I loved your reaction! I hope that we as a community can be more thoughtful in asking for things moving forward. It's totally understandable that you didn't keep in reactions to artists that you haven't talked about on here, (or those whose music you maybe don't resonate with as much to begin with) since it was only a few weeks ago that some commenters were giving you a hard time about not reacting in a particular way to their favorite artists or songs. I think we all need to remember that Bonny and Emily are really thoughtful in choosing what they react to, and I think it's nice that they want to react to things in a way that brings the community joy and lifts us all up. 💕

Also, I have no idea if this is something creators have control over or if it's just a Patreon thing, but I find the comment sections here on Patreon kind of tough to navigate! It often feels like my comment is just going into a black void of comments, never to be seen again (LOL) which I think might inspire some people to just post nasty things rather than engage in conversation or discussion. Not at all an excuse for that behavior, but I would love it if a different commenting feature existed that fostered more conversation in the community, (more similar to YouTube, I guess). I'll let better informed people speak on Eagles fans and why they specifically may have been booing Taylor, but I will say that additionally--Trump was there, and Taylor endorsed Kamala for the election (and has spoken against Trump on other occasions). There were plenty of Trump supporters in the crowd giving Trump an ego boost and high fiving about the patriarchy with those boos. They also interrupted Jon Batiste singing the national anthem to cheer for Trump when he was shown on the jumbotron, which may have happened for any president at a football game, but it left a sour taste in my mouth.

I'm by no means an expert, but the grumblings this year about the NFL rigging it so the Chiefs win--that's a bunch of sour grapes. America hates it when any team starts winning too much, and they always try to bring them down a notch or two. The NFL themselves reviewed the plays in the last few games and there was nothing that was even close to obvious cheating. The calls aren't always perfect, but usually both sides get them, which was what this video showed. So, I don't think the NFL is rigging anything. The Chiefs had a very bad game at Superbowl, they never play like that. Don't know what happened. I wish the game had been a bit more exciting!

Just in case you ladies didn't know, Jason and Travis DID verse each other in the super bowl 2 years ago (Travis won). It was a huge thing here in the states in the sports world, it was deemed the Kelce Bowl and their mom wore a custom split jersey that was half eagles half chiefs. Also I could watch you try and figure out American Football for hours, SO FUNNY! Yes, a touchdown is 6 points but after scoring a touchdown you traditionally get to kick for an extra point to make 7 or you can go for a 2 point conversion where you essentially have 1 attempt to make a touchdown for +2 on top of the 6. And yes, that was a very uneventful Superbowl (unless you're am eagles fan obviously), they're not always like that.

So I watch a YouTuber/Twitch streamer, Ray Narvaez Jr, and every year he always plays a Superbowl simulation game with the two teams that are playing that year in the Superbowl. I vote for a livestream game watch during the regular season that they are likely to win, so we can have a bit more fun with the game! Better yet, come to KC and tailgate! Some basics for scoring. A touchdown is worth 6 pts, after every touchdown they can choose to go for an extra point field goal (most common) or go for 2pts by getting it back into the end zone (like getting another td, but from the 2 yard line). The other common way to score is to make it close enough (usually to the opposing side’s 35 yard line) to try a field goal, worth 3pts, when it’s clear a touchdown is unlikely.

Even saying that she was in a creative drought (and the last time she’d had an extended bout of writer’s block was after/during Jake—she hadn’t written for months until she started writing All Too Well). But it's actually not true that there is a "real ts6" that got scrapped. Reputation is what she made during that era and —she was not thinking about Matty at that time. He only popped back into her brain when things got bad with Joe in like late 2021/2022. On TTPD she makes that whole thing with him out to be more than it ever actually was because it was her way of trying to write a better ending as the story with Joe deteriorated. She couldn't handle that so she picked up a loose end (since they never really had a go of it) and tried to make it into something that might help her move on from the devastation of things not working out with Joe. Thus, whoever said Ready For It was written on the 1989 tour got some false info haha

So I work for an NFL team and I'm really up to date on all the reports/news. It was reported by an NFL insider that the Chiefs have given Travis a month to decide if he's going to retire or not (March 14th). In football terms, he is older and closer to retirement and rumors have been swelling about him retiring after this season. He's also commented on it and said it's still up in the air. In my opinion I don't think that he will because he wouldn't want to end on that note. But he did show his age in the way that he played and missed a ton of blocks/ran the plays incorrectly. I hope this wasn't the last time we'll see Taylor at Arrowhead to support Travis on the field but that might be something we have to be prepared for :( also I could talk to you guys for hours about the rules of football. I feel like they just eat intuitively! bonny used to be vegan but is not anymore and she has said before she feels a lot more healthy. We've seen them eat treats, lunch, tea, snacks, etc so i get the impression that they have a balanced diet.

Loved Bon's "Attacking and Defense"!! Long story short for football rules, you have 4 chances (downs) to get 10 yards, you pass the 10 yard mark and your downs reset. Goal is to make it across the field and score. When you score it's 6 points. And then the team has the choice to kick the ball thru the uprights for 1 point or to try for 2 by running/passing the ball into the inzone again. If you are close enough to the inzone but don't have enough downs to get there, then the kicker can try to kick the ball thru the uprights for 3 points. At the end they came on the field when there was still time on the clock cause Eagles had the ball and with their 4 downs they would have used up the remaining time and there was no way the chiefs could have gotten points in the last 20 seconds. Love yall!

I haven’t seen anyone say this in the comments, and it’s possible you see this later in the video, but the white suit was interpreted by some to be a nod to the Suffragette movement in the States where women protested for the right to vote by wearing all white suits. I highly recommend looking it up! Our president was in attendance so to me it was a silent protest to that. (AOC here in the states has worn white suits before as well) I think you ladies might see this reference as well once you see the old historic photos. 🤍

Not sure if this has been said by someone else, but a lot of athletes in the states (football, hockey, and baseball for sure) don’t trim or cut their hair (head hair or facial hair) once they are in playoffs out of superstition so I bet Travis will have a haircut or have trimmed facial hair next time we see him!

Totally agree that Mahomes wouldn’t be protesting but while the WAGs seem to have been wearing the same color, I didn’t see any others in white blazers, a common clothing item among suffragettes. Drake also does say (I think on the same song) that that Taylor is a gangster or something like that as kind of a backhanded compliment.
