When it comes to touring I’m wondering if she actually wants to do the one album tours again because idk maybe after TS13 she’d tour again because based on what she said on the podcast the Eras Tour really took a toll on her physically

I love you guys sooo much and I literally hate policing people’s words but I just wanted to address something about you guys mentioning OCD. OCD isn’t really liking things clean, it’s having obsessive and unwanted intrusive thoughts (often taboo in nature) that lead to compulsive behaviors (which can look like reassurance seeking, rumination, and other repetitive behaviors). I say this because OCD is sooo misrepresented in media and as someone with really really debilitating OCD, I had no idea what I was dealing with because there’s not a lot of understanding of real OCD in the general public. I don’t mean to put you guys down or anything, but I wanted to offer this tidbit of knowledge because I constantly see OCD being misrepresented, and hopefully by talking about it we can help dismantle that stigma!! Love you guys so much, your videos really help distract me from my OCD and anxiety. I started dealing with all of this around covid and then I found you guys which brought me to Taylor’s music, which of course brought me so much joy and comfort in a difficult time. Your channel is really such a safe space 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

well so people thought at first that she was making a countdown out of a countdown because the first countdown was 5 hours the second one was 4 and then the third one was 3! so people thought this countdown was gonna be 2 hours but it wasn’t!! there’s also no pattern with when the countdowns have expired because the first one was 7pm and then the next two were 2pm and then this last one was 4pm

i impulsively bought the sparkly blue one last week (Baby, That's Show Business Edition (Lakeside Beach Blue Sparkle Vinyl) for the specific people out there) which i NEVER do about anything, i literally have the worlds most debilitating fear of spending money. Has anyone seen the theory that the variants she’s dropping correspond with an Era? Just like moodier/elevated in color… Debut and Speak Now with the shiny bug drop. And then the gold and blue vinyls for Fearless and Midnights. Now Red and Evermore? 💖

Omg what if it would be like that but the backstage is ON THE STAGE as well (a bit like the concept of the intro to ICDIWABH performance, like planned) she might have to actually go out of view some times but since it’s the LIFE of a showgirl she puts on the show and the songs are gonna be in that but like every time she goes to change outfits or something she just deliberately goes to like a corner of the stage or if it’s something in like the middle of the stage or something so that it’s actually pretty focused on the off stage moments. Ooh or, if the whole show like starts with an ”ending of a show”, like her and the dancers bowing and waving goodbye, maybe it’s one song before that or not, and then the actual show is we get to follow her ”off stage” but she’s still on stage then of course. Since the songs are gonna touch upon the life behind the curtain she could kinda theatrically create the moments each song refer to/is inspired by in some way, the moments after the show and just in days in between, or have a dancer play a character and create moments with that character if she was inspired by a character and saw like similarities, and like that’s the show. so it starts with the end of a show and omg maybe ends with her ”getting ready” for like the ”next show” and we don’t get to see The Show, we get to see all the moments in between and back stage. Okay just a random brain dump but iiiihhhhhh it’s so intriguing to see how she will structure a potential tour for this album, or just how she will move forward with this era in general☺️☺️🫶

Ooo thank you so much for a little extra nugget🫶🫶 I feel like the countdowns might also fit into the theme in a bigger way we can’t fathom right now. And that they say ”EXPIRES xxxx at xxxxx” I would guess has a reason, like why it doesn’t say ”ends” or something, she’s never used ”expires” before. Idk because there definitely is a focus on countdowns which just seems like it might just be specific to this era perhaps for a reason. Like the eras tour started with a countdown every night, and maybe it’s something like living as a showgirl you’re whole life is sort of centered around the countdown to when your on stage next. I really don’t know, I’m not gonna guess the reason but it’s interesting to see if like a lot of countdowns are a deliberate choice for this era specifically, to make a point/fit a theme or something like that. Also have you fathomed the playlist she gave us, that it’s order alphabetically? And that it contains a lot of 2s or 22s, like it… - starts with the song 22 - has 22 songs in total - is 1h 22min long We obviously have no idea why or what the significance is at the moment but it just is something I’ll keep in the back of my mind and that seems like it might have a reason, the alphabetical order and the 2s/22s.

Babe noooooooo 😭😂 I know it’s a pain to wash them but it’s so important to at least wash them monthly! So much bacteria grows on makeup brushes and then just putting that right onto your face will not only cause acne but I had a friend end up with dermatitis and her whole chin/jawline ended up with cysts that were infected and looked almost like burn blisters. And some even left scars! The dermatologist told her point blank it was from using makeup wipes and not washing her brushes. Sorry for the long comment, I just don’t want you to ruin your precious skin! 🫶🏼

My theory is that all coloured variants match the colours of her eras and they represent her life as a showgirl. I think there will be more than just 4 variants, I think there will be 6 (2 different colours vinyls per variant) giving us the 12 albums… and her 12 eras as a showgirl. I noticed this with the first drop the colours were giving debut and speak now, then again with the next drop was giving fearless and midnights and now this pressing could be seen as Red and folklore (possibly TTPD but we won’t know till we get the rest). Obviously this theory only works if she keeps dropping the variants but that was where my mind went to! And that would make sense as to why her display pictures keep changing because these are representative of her life as a showgirl already! I don’t know if any of that makes sense written down but I hope it does!

This is going to sound so deranged but aside from the main standard cover, this is the fourth cover variant we've had now from a countdown, right? If you think she would really do 12 (!!) extra vinyl variants following the same pattern she has been doing, this takes us to Monday 22nd September. The next date that a countdown *should* be then is Thursday 25th which could count down to a single on that Friday - stay with me here - and then the next Friday after that is the album release. I thought about that while watching but didn't realise it would actually line up! This might be a little too crazy for what she would actually do but she does seem to love the number 12 this era. And it gives me something extra to clown about 😂

i don’t necessarily believe that sabrina releasing would stop taylor from releasing as well. ofc people would accuse her of intentionally blocking her but sabrina is a big girl, and taylor’s friend. i would assume sabrina would be all “go for it” and down for the friendly competition anyway. sabrina is one of the few artists i could see actually give taylor a run for her money anyway. and yes as everyone says the collab would also be a boost for sabrina, but i don’t necessarily think that means it’s the only option. either way im seated friday as i cannot wait for man’s best friend and im hoping it gets me through until october i hate this waiting!! 🤣

i also think it would be weird for taylor to just stop dropping variants before the release. like we would suddenly have nothing in september we would just be waiting for the album. that seems really unlikely to me. so that’s why i’m leaning towards a lead single. but maybe someone with a clearer memory can remind me what happened during ttpd era did she just suddenly stop releasing variants and there was nothing else to lead us into the album or were they more spread out until the release?

I feel like I can’t make a call on whether she’s going to tour this album until I hear it - like TTPD wouldn’t have worked as a whole tour on its own, imo, following up the eras tour. A Max Martin pop masterpiece might work though - but who knows! I feel like she could realise two albums then tour both together, especially if the energy and vibes are similar.

we know better than to underestimate the tour concepts that taylor's brain will generate. the eras tour was an epic journey, but imagine a perfectly currated tour for showgirl with the conciseness of rep tour. but also, i still think she could sell out stadiums with a center stage, a guitar, a piano, and a spotlight. i mean, have you watched city of lover lately? stunning visually and vocally, and completely captivating

Ooooo I def could see that happening but I also kinda hope not because doing that basically demotivates people to engage with variants on the next album, I would hope that anyone who pre-orders at all would be “rewarded” equally. I don’t know if it’s entirely up to HER vs her team, but I don’t see Taylor as someone who would want to punish fans who knew she would likely release variants and waited to see what they liked, from that angle arguably waiting for a variant is just as much “true fan” behavior

“A completely different show” is and can and probably will be a Vegas residency. She is obvious with her Easter eggs and there is a lot to be said about her wanting to be in one place for a long time. I disagree with the argument she’s “too big” or at too much of a peak in her career. Vegas can handle her and I would die to see her perform in that ditta inspired way.

My theory is no tour for this album but it’s a surprise visual album and we get a music video for every song and they all follow a common narrative! We know she wants to do more directing, there’s been so few music videos since Midnights era and the podcast indicated she’s enjoying being not on tour and it was hard on her body so I’m doubtful that she’d tour again anytime soon. It would explain all the mentions of her as a director/producer as well as a musician on the podcast

Just my theory about touring...I have a feeling that her and Sabrina will tour together since a tour for Man's Best Friend hasn't been announced yet and then Sabrina will be there to perform Life of a Showgirl together with Taylor each night. The two sets combined will be equivalent to the length of the Eras Tour, but less work for just Taylor and her musicians/back-up singers and dancers to endure each night.

I´m having such trouble imagining a tour with Showgirl. She linked it to the Eras Tour so heavily that my visuals for a performance immediately go to ICDIWABH and the Eras Tour in general. So maybe she could like put her dressing room on the stage instead and show us the behind the curtains like that but wouldn´t that mean she lives the Life of A Showgirl AGAIN?! I somehow think in this Era we´re wrapping up projects like a documentary and maybe the two re-records. But at the end of the it´s Taylor and I´m already saving up to see her whenever wherever :D
