She has said that they started making the docuseries at the end of the tour so I think they’ve made it as an interview with her reflecting on making the tour and using some footage she has of the things she’s talking about. I think the set list discussion would only be about incorporating TTPD set

I think miss Americana and cruel summer were already placed at the top for lover because she knew she was starting with lover and knew she had to open with “it’s been a long time coming!” So that wasn’t really up for debate, it was settled before she decided the remainder of the set list. And obviously cruel summer had to be the first full song, we had waited years for a live performance!!!

The sticky notes are all of the albums songs including vault through to TTPD (you can see it in the wide shot) so I think it’s reviewing the set list to incorporate TTPD set. I’m sorry I got as far as the timeline and I’m dying. In 5 years this woman Put out 9 albums, had a record breaking 2 year tour (which she apparently planned for 2 years!!!!) left her partner of 6 years, had a very dramatic rebound/situation ship and then met Travis and got engaged?!?!?!!!?!!!! Learnt football and supported Travis to 2 Super Bowls alongside a million more teeny tiny things? I can’t begin to even fathom how she does what she does but thank god she does it!!!

I feel like she recorded some things with her team just in case (like first day or rehearsals, creating the tour, set list, etc + some things she record on her own phone) and then crew for the doc came in for the European leg of the tour (when we started seeing her being chased by cameras while walking out, etc) and last North American leg. Fun fact, the team behind this doc is the same team Jason and Kylie Kelce used for their documentary “Kelce”. I’m intrigued if it was complete coincidence or if they recommended them to her…

I also don't know if you've fathomed the same production crew also did the Jason Kelce documentary. Which also has me wondering when she started filming this? Part of me thinks she was "researching" Travis when they started dating and watching that documentary. Maybe she liked the style so much she hired them from that point? Otherwise that's a crazy invisible string connection between Taylor and Travis.

I have watched the trailer like 5 times and I notice something new Everytime! I honestly feel like I blacked out the first time I watched it Also someone online said they though the sticky notes and colors might have to do with music keys/tempos for mashups.....no idea if that makes sense or not, just a theory I saw!

I've thought about that ever since we saw footage of the Swifts watching her perform Karma for the last time. The moment she said "guy on the Chiefs" Andrea buried her face in her hands and Scott cheered. I always interpreted that overwhelming emotion as them realizing in that moment that Taylor had chosen to immortalize him in the footage of her final show, while also knowing that Travis had a surprise party planned for her the next day. It was giving "my daughter has finally found her person!"

Please also watch the little intro Sara does before she plays the song - she says some lovely things about Taylor. This was a lot of fun! Loved that Cynthia and Shoshanna performance! That was a cello; a double bass is about 7 feet tall (over 2 meters). Also I think what you said was a violin is in fact a viola (a slightly larger and lower pitched violin). It is important to learn these things!

guys this is made by the same team behind the Kelce documentary so I think she only started filming before the European leg unfortunately. the original caption “as it winded down” suggests the same 😟 I’m trying to avoid setting my expectations too high regarding episodes on planning etc.

They filmed mostly the last half, mostly in the us. After they knew it was such a global phenomenon. I’m sure they were filming rehearsals etc just for them but then the documentary took shape after Europe which is where we saw the cameras.

It’s a passion of mine, too! I have a shirt that says ‘they didn’t burn witches. They burned women.’ I wear it throughout October. It’s not even that they are always branded as dark. They are also lumped in with cartoon and fictional creatures like werewolves and Dracula at Halloween, so people forget those costumes represent real women who were burned alive- I repeat BURNED ALIVE- in front of their communities and families. It’s horrifying. I don’t begrudge anyone wanting to dress up as one. But I want people to be educated on the realities of that entire period of time where we as a society did not question authorities telling us a group of people were bad and just accepted that murdering them was the answer. That song always gets me feisty about this topic!

The documentary was produced by the crew that did Jason‘s documentary. So I’m pretty sure she started the official documentary after meeting Travis. I’m sure she’s been filming informally this whole time but the actual planned production of the documentary probably didn’t happen until close to the end. I think there will be plenty of footage and retrospective on the start of the tour, but not as in depth as the later parts.

On the witch discussion, here in the US there was a lady calling churches during the government shutdown asking for a can of baby formula for her hungry baby- this was a fake scenario and she was just calling to see if the churches would actually help, most didn’t. One of the churches that said “our benevolence is for our members only”, the pastor then did a sermon the following Sunday saying that the woman was evil and clearly a witch. It’s crazy how a man’s first reaction to being called out for bad behavior is to blame the woman, no matter the situation.

This is such a late comment, but maybe the Post-Its were originally all of her songs so she could choose a surprise song and then take the Post-It off, which would make more sense why the songs on the Tour were still up there even if not in order because maybe the songs between them had been played and this was early since we still see the lighting and stuff and maybe he was working on adding in TTPD way before she released the album so the could be the staging, lighting pics and then the Post-Its are there to help with that. I remember even Swifties sometimes had the Post-Its up of the songs and would take them down as she went and then she even started over, so that could be it? Maybe!
