aaaaaand we're back with another Fearless music video, this one really felt like a first reaction!

After we finish watching the Change MV, please let us know in the comments if you guys would prefer us to watch all 3 parts of Journey to Fearless and *then* break down the vault tracks, or if you would like us to alternate each week??

as a change stan, i can‘t wait for the change mv breakdown!! i‘ve always loved the way she’s shaking her head with her curly hair flying around in that video because it’s so reminiscent of the old fearless album cover! 💛 i think i‘d prefer if you‘d watch the journey to fearless first and then breakdown all the vault tracks :)) it‘s just more chronological that way. but i‘m happy with however you decide to do it 🫶🏻

I will be happy with anything, but I probably prefer alternating. Fifteen is one of the (many) Taylor songs that I often find myself choking up to while trying to sing along, I think it is mostly out of my system by now, but everyone once in a while it will still get me. At this particular moment in time, Taylor is not just the biggest female artist; she is the biggest musical artist in the world, full stop. I don't think that was true when your channel started, but it is true now. She is out-streaming everyone, even Bad Bunny, and I think when tour starts it will be insane. She is also the kind of artist that makes other celebrities into incoherent fans. There are too many of these to list! Of course, she is aware of this, and is no doubt trying to take it into account as she thinks about the re-recordings. The situation has really changed since Fearless TV and even since Red TV came out.

I've been a fan of the song ever since it was released (even thought I was much older than 15 years old when it came out!), but one thing I noticed that wasn't mentioned in the analysis is how Taylor is walking around in a white dress the whole time. White represents purity and innocence, so it's a little off-putting to me seeing her in white because it was almost like she was saying "I'm so pure, but my friend isn't." I don't know, just a little weird to me.

❤️ ok watching this had me fathoming something. The most heartbreaking line in fifteen for me as teen was "I didn't know who I was supposed to be" ... But this is the first time I thought about Happiness and "I haven't met the new me yet" and then AntiHeros "getting older but never wiser". Taylor calls back to this idea of adulthood, where one day you'll finally feel like an adult, who you are supposed to me, the new version of you, the one after all the tribulations and nonsense, but it just never comes. Ugh that truly encapsulates the painful reality of growing older and yet never fully being reimagined into someone who finally is there lol 🤣
