Okay I’m so shook! Bonny we feel the same about Rep! I’m apart of a small niche hobby community online and have a “bigger” account, just like you with the vegan community (I’m in the journal community). And I also went through an incident of being ripped apart too lol. Reputation is my favorite album because sooo many of the lyrics just hit me. You get it!! I feel like most people haven’t gone through that very specific experience so they don’t relate to Rep as much, but when you do god is it relatable! Also my swiftie BFF and I also met online, because we’re both in the journal community.. and both swifties!

I agree with the whole clowning thing and I don’t even make videos 😂. For me it’s just kind of draining watching videos on TikTok where people are speculating to such a degree that doesn’t make any sense. Especially when it’s constant. I love knowing why Taylor wrote a song but I also like having my own meaning of what the song is for my life personally. So too much of the Easter egg stuff takes me out of just enjoying the music for what it is. I appreciate your channel because you guys don’t do the super clowny stuff. Love this video 🫶

bonnie we have some similarities! i also became a stan during rep era and feel a huge connection with that album because of hate that i had to deal with. i went through a breakup at the beginning of the year too. we broke up at the end of january so 6 1/2 years down the drain but it was for the best. you and emily (and taylor of course) helped me get through this breakup and life in general.

I also stopped being vegan at a similar time she did. I felt quite alone and guilty during that time, but her video “why I’m no longer vegan” really helped me and made me feel less alone. For me, the distaste for clowning just comes from maturing I think. It just doesn't appeal to me. It actually gets super annoying sometimes how Taylor can't even breath without people overthinking it. I've noticed it's mainly younger fans doing the "clowning". The swiftie Fandom used to be much more simple and chill and I miss that.

it was really generous of you guys to share all this! i was vaguely aware of the vegan youtube era and was always gonna just follow your lead in case you might not want to discuss it with this audience, so glad you feel like patreon is a good boundary to examine some of these topics with a bit more privacy. the wisdom you shared about those experiences is really helpful for creators just starting out, especially younger viewers who have always lived with social media and might consider oversharing to be expected of them. yay for hindsight, yay for forgiving our younger selves who didn't know better, and YAY for this medium that allows you to be yourselves and creative but while focusing on the music and maintaining your boundaries!

The only reason I even started paying attention to, and later loving and obsessing over, Taylor is only because I came across the chats and reacts channel because I was already following both Bonny and Emily as one of my favourite vegan influencers hahaha Sometimes i come across screenshots from back in 2013/2014 of bonny's Instagram posts that i used for recipes or general food inspo and it makes me laugh bc i would have never expected that i'd end up spending a big chunk of my weekends just looking forward to you girls' reactions to the surprise songs and in general all the vids! :)

This was fun to watch but one thing I found particularly interesting is, as another aussie, i found the offensive and illegal super easy to follow. not because those are australian slang per say, but because we love to use antonyms in general. like, mate can be used aggressively, c*nt can be a term of endearment, "that's the sh*t" means something is god tier, etc. etc. we're a very sarcastic culture and i feel like the offensive/illegal thing leans into that
