That’s great to know! I mean, it’s more probable that they DID write songs together than that they didn’t. It seems impossible that they wouldn’t have. If you think about it, she even wrote a song with Zac Efron, so it is a certainty that she and Harry have songs they wrote together. Probably some silly ones like the one with Zac, but can you imagine the masterpieces that are also probably out there?

I saw a comment on the tik tok of them dancing to midnight rain at the eras tour and it said "sunshine found his bride and midnight rain made her own name" and that I just thought that was so incredible. Even if the song isnt about him, it really gives this feeling of everything happens for a reason. And the ability to look back at a hard time and say I wouldnt have any of what i have now without having experienced all that pain. It may not make you feel better in the moment, but how inspiring to know that the best has yet to come. I think these three taylors are really awesome people and I hope I have a bit of their grace and empathy with anything I do and people that i meet!

Lol so I tried doing the maths about the Top 3 cause I just needed to know🙈🙈 Someone here said there were 237 songs total, so I just went with that So now, assuming the order of the Top 3 matters AND that a song cannot be repeated, you could have about 13,144,020 possible Top 3s out of 237 songs. Again, this is IF the order matters AND a song can't be repeated. Example: ATW10-august-ivy & ivy-august-ATW10 are 2 different Top 3s because they are in different order, even though they have the same 3 songs, if that makes sense. Also, to the 'can't be repeated' point, an example is: a Top 3 CAN'T be august-august-ivy or ATW10-ivy-ATW10, because you can't have the same song more than once in a single Top 3. (This is, of course, just mathematically, because your heart can say differently lol) Now, if the order doesn't matter, and you just want to know how many combinations of 3 songs you could have out of the 237 songs, then it would be 2,190,670 combinations possible of Top 3s. This, again, is assuming that a song CAN'T be repeated. So... let me know if you understood all that 😅😅😅

So my dad does maths and I asked about the combinations of top three songs. I don’t know how many songs she has off the top of my head, but here’s how you’d do it: if N is the number of songs she has, you’d do N times (N-1) times (N-2). So if it was 300, you’d do 300x299x298 which would be 26,730,600. A lot!

When I first watched their podcast I was also curious as to why BoyTay didn't wana give a specific answer to the SNL skit question and after watching this I really feel like maybe it was bc it was BlondeGirlTay's idea, and maybe he wanted to keep that between them. We know she is constantly giving us hidden gems in her content (and let's us ponder them) and maybe this was just one of them, she was the one who pitched HIM the idea after all. And then when Bonnie said that this whole experience was probably healing for both of them, it just confirmed this for me. Bc obviously BlondeGirlTay saw that SNL skit (& probably the podcast episode where he said his regret) and has known that they both have/had unresolved feelings about the whole situation and that this would be a superior thing to do as a whole. I can't resist giving you some math education. If she has 200 songs, the total number of top 3's if you care about the order is 200*199*198 = 7,880,400. If you don't care about the order (that is, which is first, second, or third) then you divide by 3*2*1 =6, to get 1,313,400. I never know how to count exactly how many songs she has, but I'm sure it is more than 200, so the numbers are even bigger.

Perhaps you can start a segment where you read letters from your listeners... there is something so special about receiving letters on the mail... the extra care it takes is trait meaningful. So a few people already explained the math of it if you gave every song in the discography equal chance of being picked but you could get really nerdy and weight songs on likelihood of getting picked based on how popular we know each song is. It's similar to how say a sports game gets handicapped (the best player would have much better odds to win than the not best)...so All Too Well is far more likely to be on someone's list than say A Perfectly Good Heart so...now that's a very imperfect science there but um yeah. The answer is you are highly unlikely to be able to guess someone's Top 5 no matter what it is but obviously if their Top 5 is Macavity and four other not that popular songs it would be much harder. That's what I'm trying to say. 🙂

The conversation around fans hating on people who are overly positive about Taylor is so interesting to me. As an older fan(in age) but a newer fan (in following her career), I've had many conversations with my friend who is an OG stan and a lot of the conversation comes from a genuine and wholesome gatekeeping of wanting to 'protect' Taylor. Which is of course not feasible. But I think for SOME real stans there is an aspect of fear of Taylor being overexposed again like she was during the 1989 era, where it quickly goes from love to hate. So I think there is a genuine fear with some stans that the tide will turn on her again and that causes sometimes rude comments or behaviour (or in some cases just truly unhinged, not okay behaviour - like standing outside her home, studio or a friends wedding). What's interesting about right now- from someone who is newer to the TS fandom - is that Taylors clout is so high and so much of it is coming from ppl who just want the cool Instagram video screaming Cruel Summer at the Eras Tour - its cool to like Taylor right now which has never been the case before. Talking to my friend about this and her being shocked but happy to see kids walking in Taylors merch in HS, which is something she would've never done because it wasn't cool. There's been an interesting shift happening with Taylors fame but also likeability that has gathered fans in a beautiful way but has in some cases made OG stans push back in a really negative way or even new fans. When it comes to people from Taylors past praising her as a person or her work ethic, why this fandom has to shit on that I will never understand, but fandoms are fandoms, a community of different ppl brought together by 1 similar entity wherein which we put all our expectations on a person whom we do not know and expect them to be met. Long story longer - fandoms are so layered. I wish people we nicer all the way around within the fandom. Love the video and the conversation - I don't interact much but I loved this last bit because talking fandoms is so interesting to me.

So my apologies if someone else already said this, but as a resident film major I just thought I’d pipe in here and help out but a Treatment in film world is basically a break down of the entire film project. What’s going to happen, all the plans for it, the symbolism, how the creation is going to be treated and why. It happens usually before the script is even created in order to be the outline for how the script will go once it’s completed. So when Taylor Swift first talked about dreaming up this music video and creating a treatment during her speech, she was basically showing off her impressive film skills (which is basically proving that she is a real deal director who has done her research and work to do so — not that any of us are surprised) and saying that she mapped out all of it based on this idea and used the treatment as her pitch before she’d even fully written the script. A treatment, if you will, is (to use Chats and Reacts terminology), an initial fathoming, a preface of future masterful and superior plans.

[Moment of silence] I guess we'll never know.") He's confirming it was intentional without saying it outright. It's such good humour on Boy Tay's part. Especially because it's referencing back an award show 👀

100% same. Their individual insights are largely the same as one another and they communicate them very simplistically. I get the sense that they're just there for (mild) tea and good vibes, not stimulating, thought-provoking conversation.

I agree but when considering their other topics of conversation I understand. Their podcast is mostly about mental health and things related to that so I understand why they take a very slow pace that can seem very dull compared to the fast pace and exciting vibe that Chats and Reacts gives.

I feel like you guys should edit something with previous "predictions" or wonderings you had that have now been answered. Rewatching every secret song reaction is crazy to hear some comments that now make total sense.
