update again: I FORGOT LIKE 10 SECONDS oh geez okay!! now i am fully properly censored haha — pls give this link a watch and a like, thanks you guyssss

update: I had to reupload the video cause I didn't realize that you could read the name of the building I'm staying in on the little dolly ;; but we're all blurred now!! if you left a comment on the other one, please think about leaving another one here :-)

IT'S HAPPENING!! This week's video is the first of (I'm sure to be) many moving vlogs!! I'm planning on slowly setting everything up over the next couple months so all vlogs for a short while are gonna have a distinct ~moving~ theme to them hehehe. I want to share the journey with y'all but also I want to document the whole thing for posterity so we both win >:)

Also this video is 16 minutes and I'm like "ah, I hope they don't mind a shorter video" even though 16 minutes isn't really that short! But I've been putting out like half-hour videos p consistently, so I truly hope you guys don't mind a video of shorter length. I can only include so much footage of me struggling to screw in screws before it gets WAAAY repetitive and very boring lolol.

Please let me know what you think! Happy Tuesday! I love you!

☆ head to https://squarespace.com/cheyennebarton or enter the code CHEYENNEBARTON at checkout for 10% off your first purchase ☆ IT HAS BEGUN !!! I really wanted to add in like "Dawn of the Third Day" smash cuts a la majora's mask but alas it did not work out that way in the edit. Next time ಥ_ಥ I hope y'all like this video!! I know it's a bit boring and short, but tbh moving is a rather unglamorous process, but I wanted to bring you along for the ride. I also wanna document the whole thing for posterity so it works out for both of us :3 hope you're alright!! xx ✧˖° BLM resources: https://blacklivesmatters.carrd.co ✧˖° socials • art + sticker shop: http://cheyennebarton.com • twitch: http://twitch.tv/cheyennebarton • http://patreon.com/cheyennebarton • insta: @chey.barton • twitter/pinterest/spotify: @cheyennebarton ✧˖° tools • camera: sony a6400 w/ a 28mm lens, canon g7x mark ii • editing: premiere pro cc ✧˖° music ♪ purple — peter sandberg* ♪ our old beach house — sinfonietta cinematica* ♪ afternoon tea galore — sinfonietta cinematica* ♪ september affective disorder — lullatone ♪ cordierite — bonn fields* all my music from Lullatone is licensed! songs marked with a (*) are from https://www.epidemicsound.com/referra... I'm currently very unwell laying in bed (not covid! just the stomach bug </3) and you have no idea how much I needed this video. thank you chey, hope you're doing alright and happy to see your success xx

Emma

you may have already covered this previously and I just missed it, but is your new studio very far from yours+connor's place? will it be inconvenient to visit often or is it not too far?

cheyenne barton

it’s only a 10 minute commute by car! def too far to walk, so connor won’t be able to come visit middle of the day, but i hope he’ll join me in the office every now and then hehe

mon

saw this notification pop up amid a day of back-to-back zoom meetings and it made me smile! i'm so happy for you, chey!

Emma

oh very nice. I like the yellow color you chose for your shelves, they look lovely :)

Robin

chey coming in clutch with the good vibes in her vlogs :') thank you chey

Dear Cheyenne, this is your middle-aged friend from Montana. Please lift with your legs! Spare your future back! Love, me.

omg yes, watching this footage back i was yelling that at myself!! Absolutely will do in the future 😅💪🏻

TeslaDarwin

This was exactly what I needed to get myself moving today, so thank-you! Glad everything is coming along well~

agnese

love love looooove this! just a question, is there no bathroom??😱😂

Marlee

Yay for moving vlogs! Short vids are just as good as long ones- fun to see the journey. ✨

Christine

Congratulations! Excited to follow you on this huge step in your journey!

there’s one down the hall!! hahah, it’s an office building so there’s load of little spaces like mine

Charlotte Lee

hey chey! just wanted to let you know that you can read the name of where you're renting your studio on the trolly you used to move the boxes (so you can blur it if you want to before posting this to the whole internet). SSDGM!

rose

i loved this vlog sm!! ;;-;; if you’re still getting echoes in the studio, consider getting a big rug to dampen some of the sound. soft furniture (like sofas) are the most helpful, but maybe a cozy armchair isn’t ideal for your work space... 🥰

Megan Beretta

So excited to see the process of your little studio coming to life and getting all set up and pretty 😊 also I am OBSESSED with that grey sweater you’re wearing at the end of you vid!! So cozy and it looks gorg on you😍

veronica porlier

Love being able to be a part of your journey, even if it’s just a little bit. So happy you are getting to experience the joy of doing what you love!

Bucky

thank you so much for bringing us along with you during your moving process! i hope everything continues to work out and you have a lovely day/night! also i’m obsessed with your guillotine earrings, they are so neat!!! ✨

Mona K

Oh boy I had this same energy for my shelf. What's not to be excited about amirite!

matilde

chey when i found your channel you were packing your little studio and moving into the new flat, now you're moving your business into its own space - such a long way :)

samuel thibodeau

Hello <3 Loved the video as always !! I don't know if you considered it before, if yes and it's not what you want disregard this ahaha but,, Instead of buying two desks you could get a looong kitchen counter at ikea (there's like 2.10m if i remember correctly) and a sets of drawers or those triangle legs support thing for it !! It's cheap and it gives a lot of surface

cheyenne barton
>>48448171

yes, i've thought about that!! but i kind of want to have the digital tasks space on a separate worktop from my art making space, to help me (hopefully) not get distracted!!

Sydney Kim

Always love the videos, no matter the length! Congrats again on your new studio space! If you don’t mind me asking, what camera do you use for your vlogs? I tried to zoom in on the last few minutes of the video but I couldn’t make it out. Hope you have a lovely Friday <3

cheyenne barton

In this one I use a canon g7x mark ii!!! I also always have the camera(s) I use for videos in my description boxes :>

Jazmin Ortega

Congrats on the new space! If you don't mind, I'd like to suggest a foam donut for your chair. I have a similar wooden chair that I work on and it gave me terrible tailbone pain before I added some padding. Enjoy your new studio!
