Hi y'all!! 'Tis time for questions! The end of November really got away from me for some reason — I've really dropped the ball on timing stuff. 😓I'm really sorry!! I know I'm asking for questions just before the weekend, but I'd love to film this on Monday or Tuesday, so it doesn't bleed too far into December. Again, sorry for the late ask!! And I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving or just a nice Thursday :-)

Hi Chey, how are you today really? How about Connor? If he’s there, does he have any wisdom to pass on today? And what about Sophie, does she have any wisdom to pass on today? (just kidding but also kinda not lol). Okay now to put on my serious hat for this months questions. I think we all need some lightheartedness nowadays so… (in your best announcer voice) I introduce this month’s LIGHTNING ROUND! Aim of the game: answer these questions with as little thought as possible. Ready set go! 1. favorite mythical creature 2. favorite color to wear 3. your coffee order 4. favorite candle smell 5. what pastry do you get at a bakery 6. most satisfying house chore 7. your comfort movie or show 8. if you could have any animal as a pet what would it be 9. favorite time of day 10. order from your favorite takeaway spot 11. what would be your superhero power 12. if there was an alternate timeline with an alternate Chey, what would she be like? 13. If you could live in any country or city (or neither) in the world, where would you live? 14. do you imagine a voice for Sophie? what does it sound like? Great, i mean i don’t know what you answered but i guess i will find out soon! Just a reminder that we all love and appreciate you and you deserve everything you receive. Stay safe ♥️

Hi Chey! First tea time, whoop whoop! Here are a few questions, feel free to skip any that you’ve answered before ☺️ 1. If you had to describe your aesthetic in a sentence (personal or art) how would you? 2. What makes you feel the most appreciated as an artist? 3. What fictional character from your childhood/adolescence had the biggest influence on how you express yourself how? I hope you have a wonderful day and that your new studio space is everything you dreamt it would be! Many thanks, Calvin (aka pastelboii)

Hi there! I'm new to the Tea Time crew. :) Thanks for doing these. I hope these questions aren't repeats. :) My question is about how trends work with art. As an artist do you consider trends or what's popular or do you stay 100% true to your own style? Next question... Do you have any feelings about people who just randomly take up drawing or painting then decided to monetize it? I just see true artists who put so much time and love into their talent yet just anyone can decide to do it. I hope that makes sense! I don't mean for it to sound disrespectful or like there are strict rules about selling art and being an artist. My mom is an artist and she has such a natural talent. She makes things I could never do even if I practiced. I feel like some respect has been lost for art or artists. Again I know anyone can do what they want but I just respect what you do because you have true talent. :) Last question... I am curious when you felt it was the right time to switch from Etsy to your own site? I sell knitwear on Etsy right now. Unfortunately I don't get a ton of traffic. I don't have a big following on social media. I would love to have my own site but I don't know if it's worth it. Thoughts? Looking forward to Tea Time! Glad to be a part of it :) -Mary

Ha one last quick question! So you play Stardew Valley? Ok that's all :)

Hi Cheyenne! I hope you’re doing well and had a good week. Here are my qs for this month! 1. What are some of your favorite candles if you have any? 2. What’s your favorite song right now? 3. Do you have anything planned for the holidays? 4. What would you dream Christmas list consist of? 5. If you could teach a college class, what would it be called and what would it be about? 6. What is something you can talk about for hours? 7. How’s the new studio? I hope you’re well! Sending you lots of love!

Hi Cheyenne! I was wondering if you have any advice about dealing with imposter syndrome. I oftentimes find myself getting stuck in a rut of Jealousy when it comes to social media and art.

This might be a tad late-but if it isn’t hi Chey! Hope you’re doing well. Your content is one of the big things that gets my boyfriend and I through the big SAD (seasonal affective disorder...hitting especially hard this year) so love you & thank you. Anyway I just have one question for you. For a long time I’ve just felt like I’ve outgrown my friends. When we all became friends around 1.5 years ago I was new to my university, single, and less focused. But now, I don’t feel like we have anything in common. On top of that, my closest friend (and roommate) tested positive for COVID and during her whole quarantine was really irresponsible and careless. The whole situation just made me realize how much we’ve grown apart...I guess what I’m asking is how do you deal with moving on from friends..especially when it feels like that means you’ll be all alone? Lots of love to you, sophs, and Connor. Hope you’re staying safe and warm 💕

Hi Cheyenne! Melody again :) seeing your posts has been such a blessing during this pandemic. I’ve recently moved to Portland Oregon and it’s been hard to make friends. I like seeing your posts and thinking about you as an art friend! Anyway I was just wondering what are some things that get your creativity flowing for content creation. How do you edit your photos? How do you decide what to post? Hopefully you haven’t answered this type of question recently! I’m happy to see you’ve been doing better recently! I cannot wait for this journey of a new studio for you :) you are an inspiration! Love, Melody
